“Perfectly imperfect characters and situations make Frame’s debut novel sparkle…there’s a very real sense of character growth, brought to life by an evolving narrative style that parallels Lucy’s metamorphosis. The blend of humor and heart makes for a thoughtful, highly entertaining read.” –Publishers WeeklyLucy London puts the word genius to shame. A nerd in love, what’s not to love?
There is nothing, absolutely nothing, about this book that I would change.
A sweet and laughter-filled story about a girl experiencing both friendship and romantic love for the first time.
I quite liked that the story doesn’t just focus on the blossoming relationship between Lucy and Jensen, but also the ones …
I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Sweet and well written young adult story. Lucy is a genius and has a grant which she needs to prove that emotion can be spread/shared. She has no clue, as to her everything has a scientific value.
On her way to discovery she develops friendships and a relationship with the gorgeous Jensen from the duplex next door.
Lucy is a very interesting character. She reminds me of Sheldon Cooper (from the Big Bang Theory series), although not as extreme. She talks about things in a clinical and scientific way and is absolutely straightforward and honest. She is unlike all the female characters I ever read.
The thing with contemporary romance is that I don’t expect a …
Everything start as a simple experiment and ended with beautiful friendships, empathy for others and a lot of human feelings. The story is funny and easy to read, also totally believable.
fun – very light read .
I really enjoyed reading this book.
Big bang theory with a female Sheldon Cooper. A fun easy read.
It was a pretty good book. I’m not a huge fan of romance novels with young characters because it doesn’t feel realistic to be that in love so young. It’s a personal bias 🙂
WOW! A well written, beautifully edited, absolutely hilarious and informal twist on young adult behaviors. Totally ridiculous, unbelievable and funny.
One can only be awed by the author’s imagination.
I really enjoyed reading about “real” people…not perfect ken and barbie dolls. Characters more easily identifiable to the reader, engendering more involvement with the characters.
Ridiculous
This is no great work of literature but it is a funny book with quirky characters if you’re looking for something quick to read.
Quick funny and cute. Likeable characters. Could have learned more about them but it was good
A book that will make you happy that you read it. A nice story.
This was a book unlike most others I have read. I enjoyed the push and pull of the two characters. Interesting conversations and could almost see her confusion.
