I love these books! The world building is wonderful and the characters and their circumstances always end making me laugh. Ms. Sands is a very entertaining writer.
Ms. Sands keeps her immortal series interesting, unique, and riveting. She does overlap characters and stories but she does not put in long text keeping one informed about previous books. All of this series are stand alone books but if you like the paranormal stories you should start at the first book and go forward.
Immortal Unchained is the twenty fifth book in the Argeneau series and I just loved getting to reenter this amazing world. This book introduces us to some new characters and I just had so much fun getting to go on their journey. I was just drawn in and I just didn’t want it to end. I was so sad to turn the last page and I immediately wanted more of these amazing characters. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.
Good but not as good as the earlier ones in the series
Brilliant with humorous aspects HEA
Fantastic book, couldn’t put it down!
I started reading the first book of the Argeneau novels and loved them all. Immortal Unchained was a very good read. I will continue to read future books by this author.
I loooove this series… Actually, I don’t think I’ve not loved anything I’ve read written by Ms. Sands. You can’t beat sitting down with a brew, a blanket, and a Lynsay Sands book as you are guaranteed a great experience. This book was no exception, it had it all, a great couple, excitement, heat and the added bonus of some new characters. Thoroughly enjoyed. She’s one of my one-click Authors.
I love everything Linsay Sands writes. This series is especially great! Interesting storylines, funny dialogue & great love scenes. And always a happy ever after ending.
Always love her books! They distract me away from reality for awhile. Entertaining and sexy!!
Immortal Unchained by Lyndsay sands is not the first book I have read in the Argeneau series. so with that in mind, I will be weighing this story merits based on previous instalments of this fascinating series.
Well, first things first, This tale is told from two viewpoints, our heroine Sarita and our hot Vampire Domitian, I’m assuming that the reader is familiar with this series and life-mates but if not for the Argeneau virgins here’s a brief explanation.
There’s a life-mate for each vampire and the ability to recognise them comes from being unable to read or control their future life partner.
The vampires are originally from Atlantas.
it’s the advanced technology with nano’s that repair their bodies, that make them practically immortal, it’s these nano’s that need the extra blood.
You can only turn one person, so this is usually reserved for the life-mate.
so now that’s out of the way lets get back to this book,
Immortal Unchained is book number 25 in this series it features the above two characters I mentioned before Sarita who is a cop and Domitian who after numerous occupations over his many years is now a chef.
Both end up stranded on an island after being lured there by Dr Dressler who seems very insane, so the mad scientist label would definitely be a fit.
Now all the action takes part on the small island our two lovebirds are stranded on and also a bigger one where the mad doctor has been running his diabolical unethical experiments from.
I really don’t want to give too much away so will just say what I think
of the overall plotline.
This wasn’t my favourite of Miss Sands books but was still a great read,
it was fast paced, the writing flowed and the action between our two mains well let’s just say it was sizzling hot.
We get to meet previous characters from earlier books which was really nice, we also get a conclusion which while very satisfying also had an open-ended finish which paves the way for future releases.
so in conclusion, while not being my number one read of this author this is still a worthy offering of Argeneau yumminess that is well worth a read.
I received an e-copy free of this book from Netgalley and this is my own honest opinion.

Unchain the Immortals
I love, love, loved Immortal Unchained! The Argeneau series never gets old, they just keep getting better. The author sweeps you up into the story so much so you no longer are a passive reader. The infrastructure for the series is solid and works successfully for character development and interactions. It is the characters that make the books that make the series. Action, Adventure and Mystery are to be expected but the character interactions determine which of the three will lead. Oh, I forgot LOVE. There is always love. There are times of laughter, intimacy, distress and the aha after solving the whodunit. At the end of reading Immortal Unchained I was exhausted. I have read and will continue to read about the Argeneau’s as long as they “stick” (wink-wink) around.Get the book . Sit in your favorite comfy spot and hang on for an unexpected wonderful journey. RECOMMENDATION: Read the Book. -Tex,
romantic comedy with an Immortal twist
I absolutely love Lynsay Sand’s take on Vampires, I read everything she puts out
If you have not read these please do, you will really enjoy them and I have over the years.
One of the author’s best.
