Mandy is an amazing writer with incredible skill! She can make me smile, sigh dreamily and cry with a single book!
I love Mandy M. Roth’s Immortal Ops series and all of the spin offs. A must-read author!
Save your future
I was completely enthralled with this book. Gus and Bill had me laughing out loud not to mention the brogue on those twins and the dead guys are the type of friends we all would wish for. This book is a perfect addition to this series and brings some things to a close while making way for so many more books. The author has used her creativity to once again pull me into the lives and experiences of her characters. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I know that no matter who finds their mate next I am going to love the journey to the HEA.
I love this series! They catchy dialogues and quirky characters are great. Gena is socially awkward and I smiled all day reading her book. Throw in super hot Cody suffering from ED and you can’t help but chuckle. The situation they end up in is far from funny though. Loved how Helmuth is health with. So appropriate all things considered. This is a well written story that is such a good read. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author and freely leave this honest review.
YOWZERS! THIS is now my favorite book in the I-Ops world. Warning DO NOT DRINK while reading. Well unless you enjoy spewing your beverage of choice. Bill… if you have read the others in the series I do not need to say more than that. Oh my heart goes out to Cody. I have wanted to know more about him since he first appeared and, well, I want to murder Helmuth for everything he has done to Cody. Gene is an innocent, in all ways possible. I loved how the sparks started flying the moment these two ummm met in person.
This book has it all, humor, heat, alpha male protectiveness, innocence, and danger. I was hooked and did not stop reading until I devoured this book.
I would not recommend this book as a stand alone just for the fact that prior characters keep popping up and it would be more enjoyable when read as part of the series.
Wrecked Intel
Immortal Outcasts
Book 4
Mandy M. Roth
Cody Livingston – Great White Shark / Shifter – Outcast Agent
A long time ago, Cody volunteered for some testing by the Government, ways to make him stronger. He got more than he bargained for, the Government decided they made some mistakes with him along with many others. Some found freedom and became outcasts.
He has bad memories of his past and spends his time now trying to protect others from danger and possible testing as well.
While on a little vacation his shark side gets restless but he doesn’t understand why. He decides to take a swim in his beast side to calm down. What he finds instead is the reason his shark is going crazy. A little child is bleeding and sinking deeper in the ocean, surrounded by other sharks going in for the kill. He saves her but gets captured in the process.
After years of captivity and torture he is rescued.
Gena Alexiadis works for a shark conservation company, she has a soft spot for sharks ever since she was a child and was rescued by the biggest great white shark she has ever seen. She has some interesting traits of her own. Her story sound familiar?
We get to visit once again with our favorite crazy man Wild Bill and his sidekick Gus.
Another adventure with Gus and Bill, always something to make you laugh out loud.
OH MY you are going to love Bill, he is a hoot.
I love this crazy group of men.
Now for the bad guy, Walter Helmuth. Evil man with another side to him as well, (not exactly human). He has been searching for Cody since he escaped his tank and wants him back. This time Gena is also in danger as Cody’s mate.
Even though he knows it is a trap he has no intention of letting the mad man live another day to hurt anyone else.
Follow along as we see another Alpha male fall hard for his very own kryptonite, his mate.
These books can all be read alone but honestly once you read one of them you just gotta read them all.
What a great group!
I can’t wait to see who is next in this series.
Love this series. . .
A rather tedious, slogging through at a snail’s pace plot. A lot devoted to the background history of certain characters which I believe is intended for first time readers of this series.
Anyway, things finally got intriguing around the middle of the book when Cody and Wheeler met on a park bench per Gus’s wishes. (You have to read the other books to really know who Bill & Gus are; two crazy guys from the Vietnam era who remain a thorn in vampire Armand’s bloodless side). This is where Cody & Gena meet after 17 years of wondering about each other. Saving one another is imperative but Helmuth has his own evil intentions for this pair, essential intentions. The reader is allowed to read Helmuth’s background and his whys and wherefores about his plans. The ending is good (that’s to be expected) but sad in some ways. Especially the aspect of learningabout the fate of their missing buddy/friend Kaiko Kahale. I sure hope there’s a future story there; along with what would have to be a wiz-bang of a story for Wheeler. I originally had this on pre-order at Amazon but just got an ARC instead through Bookfunnel. (less)
Anything M. Roth writes is always a GOOD READ!!!!
Oh the twists and turns!
It was a fun book that truly came full circle with the past. I don’t think I’ve laughed this much with the characters antics especially the guys. Bill, the twins, Gus, and Wheeler are a fun bunch. The ladies are nerdy but super cool too! I loved Gena’s character too! Gena and Cody are a hot together and I truly enjoyed the mystery, and plot twists. The book kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. I’d recommend the audiobook too. I love the narrator. D.C. Cole, is a phenomenal narrator and the wide variety of voices he uses is truly fun and elevates the book for me.
Cody is a shark shifter and saves a drowning girl in the water. But no good deed goes unpunished and he ends up captured by senior psycho who wants nothing more then to do nefarious things to him. Years later Cody’s is still trying to hunt the evil Hellmoth down. Ramblings from a crazy friend sends him back to the ocean and his future. Stuffed with good vs evil, amusing banter, a crazy guy spouting prophecies and shark shifting wet dreams, the story will keep you entertained! A second chance (sorta) romance that has endearing characters that you will fall in love with. The narrator does a wonderful job with all the characters! I got lost in the story while I listened.
Loved this book. Cody is one of my favorite characters. Love that he was strong and protected Gena even as a child. His response to seeing Gena for the first time as an adult is hilarious. Love that Gena listened to her internal alarms about Helmuth.
Although the ending came rather abruptly, I enjoyed the book immensely.
It was really good, but super short!
Great White
This one was Cody’s turn and the Corporation has put him thru the mill. Even more questions are answered as Gena appears on the scene. Several of the crew are on hand to help out & once again Bill & Gus even the odds.
Wrecked Intel (Immortal Outcasts #4) by Mandy M. Roth is full of action and humour. OMG this one is so funny I hurt from laughing out loud and so long at Gus and Wild Bill and the Scottish twins. Cody was lied to by the Government and found himself changed into something he could never have imagined. As if that is not bad enough, he soon finds himself in the hands of a madman who is obsessed with him. He also finds himself facing the one thing he never thought he would have but to have her means he must find and face the man who made his life hell.
I really enjoy Mandys books all of them.
I am totally in love with this series!!!
Cody and Gena they are so much alike that it makes for an awesome story plus throwing in Bill and Gus made my day!!
The Mermaid , and the wereshark what a pair
Absolutely loved it! The way Cody and Gena are drawn to each other creates a perfect union of hearts and souls. Their first meeting as adults is probably my favorite first meeting ever. There is the perfect amount of humor, action and passion weaved together to create a great addition to the Immortal Ops world.
Caught my interest held throughout book couldn’t put it down
