Same yarn spun over and over again. Includes four letter words. I always feel it’s written by a man when I read vulgarity and debasing words. Perhaps I’m a prude but there are many authors that do not need to use these words, that can bring the beauty of lovemaking and connection between two people without making it into just a pornographic read. What a waste of my time.
The author did a good job of putting a twist to the paranormal theme. It is not just a shifter meeting their intended mate, but has a lot more fleshing out of the plot. It also had enough characters fleshed out to make it interesting, and to make you want to read more of the series.
Liked the characters but the story could have evolved more. It was too fast to allow you to become really interested in the characters.
Miss Roth writing is excellent. It draws you in from the beginning and quickly becomes a page turner and you find yourself in a fantasy world and she makes you want to buy the other books in the series. The characters are intriguing and funny and hot. I would recommend any of her books.
