Nothing compares to the physical chemistry between an immortal and his life mate—or to the spellbinding thrills in a new Argeneau novel by New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands… baby has been tricky enough. But as little Liam grows, so does his appetite. He needs more blood than she can personally supply. And when her attempts to steal from a blood bank go awry, Allie wakes up surrounded by doctors, cops…and the gorgeous, mesmerizing Magnus, who she can neither trust nor resist.
Magnus never expected to find his life mate breaking into a blood bank. Clearly, Allie is already entwined with his world—in deeper, more dangerous ways than she realizes. A band of vicious rogue immortals is in pursuit, and Magnus’ first task is to keep her safe. His second: to awaken her to mind-blowing pleasure, and hope she’ll accept the life, and the passion, that only he can offer.

Always enjoy this author’s writing, sense of humor and banter between characters.
I really liked this newest book, however, all these seem to follow a formulaic system. They meet their mate and start indulging and then it’s all sexual intimacy and hardly any story. I had been looking forward to this for months and it didn’t disappoint. I will definitely be reading the next in the series.
I won a digital copy of Immortal Born from a Goodreads contest and in return I promised an honest review.
Immortal Born is the 30th book in the Argeneau series, a Paranormal romance that just keeps going and going, Thank You, Lynsay Sands!
Allie Chambers has more than she bargained for when she made a promise to her best friend to raise her infant son if anything should happen to her. Turns out the baby is a vampire and feeding him has become a problem. As Liam grows, he needs more blood and since Allie is his supply source she is literally killing herself to keep her adopted son fed. So, Allie makes plans to steal from the blood bank she works for but faints dead away and then wakes up in a hospital surrounded by doctors and cops and a gorgeous man with glowing, silver eyes. She knows what those eyes mean and it’s not good so she makes her escape from Magnus.
Magnus was called to the states to meet his possible life mate but he would never have believed that she attempted to steal from a blood bank. It becomes apparent that Allie is familiar with his immortal kind and believes that they are all bad. The danger that Allie and Liam having been running from has just got worse. A group of rogue vampires is on her trail and Magnus is determined to keep her and the boy safe. All while trying to convince her that he is the good guy and that if she can accept becoming immortal then her life will be filled with love and passion.
I will always read something by Lyndsay Sands. Her books are laugh out loud funny and I love watching the characters pop up in future books.
One of the best in the series. Sands builds a great relationship between Magnus and Allie. It refreshes the pattern of the Argeneau novels.
This is an entertaining, well-written, steamy, paranormal romance. It has likable, engaging characters, a heart-warming romance, and a happily ever after ending. It contains descriptions of the immortal world which allow it to stand alone, however, it is best read in order because of the numerous interactions with characters from previous novels. The new twist on life mate sex makes this an excellent addition to Ms. Sands’ outstanding Argeneau series. The audible version of this novel has a fabulous narrator!
I can’t believe this series is 30 books long now. I remember finding this series when there were only 8 books and loving it. This is actually the series that sparked my love of paranormal and vampire romances.
Allison ” Allie” Chambers’ life is turned upside down when her neighbor, and best friend, entrusts her with raising her child. Allie has no experience with children, let alone a vampire child. Magnus doesn’t expect to find his life mate breaking into a blood bank but he will do everything he can to protect her and her adopted son.
“You are my life mate, and my life. I will spend however long I live cherishing you, adoring you, and keeping you safe and happy, because your very existence makes me happy.”
I enjoyed this book but it wasn’t my favorite of the series. This one definitely had a slower pace and the action was mostly at the end. Allie is a very strong and independent woman who is terrified of being trapped in marriage. She fights her feelings for Magnus from the start and focuses on protecting Laim. Magnus respects Allie’s strength and determination to protect her son. While Magnus doesn’t have any children he takes to being an adopted father easily and was very cute with Liam. I really enjoyed these three and thought they made a great vampire family.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and can’t wait to jump into the next book. I am also loving that they are building a vampire town in Port Henry so they kids can grow up together.
I love this series and I loved the characters in the story. Buuuut, Entinne is Victor’s Nephew not Son! And Victor is an Uncle to Drina not just a friend! The sex was kind of misted over and that’s always the good stuff. And, I love it when they have the shared dreams!
Saying all this. I still love the series. I have already pre- ordered the one coming out in September. Ms. Sands please, bring back your wonderful characters. Just leave the over detailed scenes out unless they are about lifemate sex!!!
One of my favorite authors!
I love this series. I love the world. And I got to visit some former couples in this book. Squee!
This one was a little different than the others and I liked it. Human mother caring for immortal child. Life in danger…yeah that part is the same. We went back to Port Henry and saw the whole gang and their families. Magnus is thoughtful, albeit a bit clueless, but I definitely liked his character and how he immediately wanted to be a family.
I adore The Argeneau Immortals, not just how loving & strong, supportive they are but then how bashful the men become when it comes to finding out that they’ve met their Lifemate & how difficult they find trying to explain who & what they are & how they live.
Here we have mortal Allie who took on to take care of Liam, the Son of her friend who escaped from the Rogue Immortal who kept Basha & made her a Rogue for a good few decades. & changed & her husband Steven, but she was able to escape when she was pregnant & met Allie, but she gave Allie Liam to keep him safe & care for which she was doing even when she had to keep moving from place to place to keep them safe when the rogues find them, but its not until there’s a report that someone was trying to steal some bagged blood that Allie & Immortal Mangus whose been requested to go to Canada to help his Lifemate.
Things move fast in this episode due to Allie knowing about Immortals already she only needs to learn the truth about things & then about Lifemates, which surprises her, as we see how they actually get together & what happens in their first time together
Great reading
This series of Books are exceptional. Miss Sands writing keeps me at the end of my seat every time. I can’t wait for the next book.
