Oh boy! There were so many twists and turns in this book I thought I was gonna get dizzy. It was a perfect ending to the series, and the anticipation for The Shadows to release that much more exciting.
Reread edit 04/01/19:
There was so much I had forgotten about this book, so it was like I read it for the first time all over again. J.R. Ward truly is a master of her craft.
I fell in love with Adrian and Eddie all over again. I had forgotten what amazing characters they were, and I can’t wait for them to pop into the BDB world.
I had also forgotten what a complex character Devina was. Yes, she is evil to her core, but there is so much more to her than that.
Then we have Jim and Sissy, and the end of the war. Which was bittersweet because they had been through so much, and they deserved the ending that they got. And Adrain and Eddie saying goodbye, heartbreaking.
It was truly the perfect ending to the Fallen Angels series. After 5 years of waiting though, I am ready for Devina, Adrian, and Eddie to come to the BDB world. Lassiter is waiting!
One of the very best series out there!! Highly recommend these well written stories and characters!! JR Ward’s is outstanding at building and blending this incredibly sexy, paranormal world!

Intense.
An Awesome Concept.
Very well written.
Makes you wonder where your own Cross Roads are……
Wasn’t my favorite of the series, but it was still excellent.
I admit it kept my attention from the first page to the absolute last word.
I can’t wait to see what J.R. Ward comes up with next.
She has definitely made me an AVID & DEVOTED fan.
Would love to see this world & her BDB world collide!
Disliked the lead male character, just didn’t like him
So this book was a total anticlimactic let down. The whole Sissy/Jim saga was built up for the whole series and when they got together it was just meh. The battle with Devina was meh. The plot didn’t really go anywhere from where it left off the last book. The two souls left to win were Sissy and Jim and the cross roads that decided the win for both was really lame. It was like Sissy got mad and was about to Hulk Smash and then didn’t……. Yay she won her battle. Wow that was such a crossroads. The same was true with Jim he was gonna break Devina’s mirror because he was mad she hurt Sissy and then he just doesn’t and wow he wins too. The ending felt like it wrapped up way to perfect. Everyone that has Died comes back, everyone in love was still in love, Devina was in hell but she was okay with it and when and if she gets out she doesn’t want pay backs for Jim trapping her there. Nope she just thought…..I will find a man that loves me. Oh and Ad was healed and could have sex again. Jim and Sissy went to heaven reunited with his mom and lived HEA….. The End. Yup total let down. I am glad I read it though just in case JR Ward brings Devina to the BDB world. I am also glad I am done with this series it wasn’t the worst but it was just meh all around.
Yet another author I follow and impatiently wait for the next release in the series
Never disappointed. Love this writer and all of her series. Can’t put any of her books down.
