From New York Times Bestselling author Kristen Proby, comes an all new novel in her beloved With Me In Seattle series!Shawn O’Callaghan loves his job as a screenwriter almost as much as he loves his family. But this latest project could quite possibly test his patience beyond anything he’s ever had to endure. Generally unflappable, the author he’s thrown into the trenches with pushes every button … every button he has. Sometimes twice. And it doesn’t help that he can’t stop thinking about her in ways that are anything but professional. But how can he help it? The redhead is gorgeous beyond reason—and utterly infuriating.
Bestselling author Lexi Perry is finally about to leave her mark on the world; after all, seeing her dark and dangerous words brought to life is a dream come true. Until she meets the man who is supposed to make that happen. From the minute they laid eyes on each other, it was clear there would be tension, but she had no idea how much until they got down to business. He obviously doesn’t understand her vision. Though she’s having trouble lately too, given all she can picture is what he looks like under his clothes and imagining what it would sound like if he talked dirty to her in that sexy Irish lilt of his.
If they can find a way to meet in the middle, this movie could be one for the ages. As could their love.

Imagine With Me is the fifteenth title in the With Me in Seattle series.
I originally fell in love with the Kristen Proby’s writing with the earlier titles in this series, and Imagine With Me felt like so similar to some of her earlier works.
Lexi Perry is an author and an introvert. She’s quiet, shy and reserved and I could totally relate to her social anxiety.
Shawn O’Callahan is a charismatic and charming screenplay writer, who is also very headstrong, loyal and loving.
The banter between this pair starts off quite antagonistic, as they butt heads whilst turning one of Lexi’s thriller’s into a movie script. As the title progresses the banter turns quite fun and flirty.
The sparks between this pair ooze from the page, and their story is both sweet and sexy, with scenes that are quite steamy.
Imagine With Me is full of twists and turns, and I fell in love with the O’Callahan family and look forward to seeing the rest of the siblings find their happy ever after. I highly recommend this title if you enjoy a story with strong themes of family, friendship and love.
I received a free ARC copy of this book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This story was absolutely awesome. Its a bit different than I have read from this author before. For one Lexi is a much older character. She is in her mid 30s while Shawn is much younger and in his late 20’s. Also the story takes place in Seattle and on the Island where Shawn’s family lives but Lexi lives in Michigan and loves it there. So she is only around for a month. In addition Shawn is very much a people person while Lexi is very anti people and actually thinks she is an agorphobic.
While there is a gap of about 8 years between Lexi and Shawn, it was a very minor point in the story. In feact Shawn is this alpha with a lot more sexual experience than Lexi even if she was older.
The two are hired to work on turning Lexi’s murder thriller novel onto the big screen and Shawn is the script writer. They are very different people and so I loved watching them bicker as they try and write the screen play. I also enjoyed watching Lexi and Shawn as they hang out at his families bar and get to know his family.
This story was more about two very different people thrown together with a job to do and how they make it work for them. Lots of hot scenes and a very fun read. I loved how both characters matured and grew in this story.
The ending was absolutely awesome. I think its one of my favorite endings to any of this authors books.
Well.. What can I say? Just one thing: please read this book because the With Me in Seattle series is wonderful, Lexi and Shawn are perfect together and Kristen Proby is a wonderful writer.
The thing is… this book is not an ordinary romance just because Lexi and Shawn are not looking for it, they are content with their lonely workaholic lifes. She is a loner and thinks she is agoraphobic. He is devoted to his family and work and is not looking for romance. They meet to write movie script together (it is her book), they clash a lot. She is a bit older and he knows his craft, but there is something more in them.
This book is about taking your claim and stand your ground, a strong woman who needs to discover herself to be with a strong man. Their romance is slow but it is almost a self discory.
A very good book that I really love it!
One of the best series and Kristen Proby never disappoints. I loved this story and getting to picture Ireland through the characters eyes. Shawn and Lexi were great characters that you can’t help but root for. Watching them fight at work but fall in love on their personal time was great, because most people are different in those areas. Also seeing Lexi becoming more comfortable in her own skin was enlightening. You also get to catch up with Luke and Natalie and all of OCallaghan’s . There can never be enough books in this series
Long-time Kristen Proby fan here, and it all started with her With Me In Seattle series sometime in 2014 with the very first book, Come Away With Me. Since then, I’ve come to love the Wiliams/Montgomery families and those they consider family. And now, I’ve fallen in love with the O’Callaghan family, as well. Needless to say, Imagine With Me has been on my TBR list for quite some time! It’s part of this long-running series, but all the books are written as standalone titles, so you really can jump in at any point with any of them. If you’re a hard-core series lover like I am and have the time to devote to this entire series, it’s absolutely worth reading from the beginning.
What I Liked Most About the Book: Ummm…really, all of it. When you’re this devoted to a series, it’s really hard NOT to love each book no matter where the story takes you. But if I had to pick one thing, it would be our hero, Shawn. Thanks to Nora Roberts, I have a healthy obsession with all things Irish, and just imagining him talking with a faint Irish brogue had me swooning!
NICUnurse’s Rating: It’s hard to find more to say about this story other than it’s the perfect next book for this series. The characters are wonderfully loveable, even if they can be stubborn and frustrating at times. It wasn’t very angsty, which was nice. I like angst, but sometimes a story that just seems to flow and show a natural progression of the relationship is nice. Both Lexi and Shawn had a lot to learn about themselves and a lot of personal growth to achieve and watching them evolve made me proud of them. And the O’Callaghan family is everything you’d expect of a tight-knit Irish family–loveable, stubborn, and welcoming. Good times, good food, and a great pint of Guinness always to be had.
I give Imagine With Me by Kristen Proby 4 out of 5 stars!
I don’t think I could ever tire of this world or these characters, and Imagine With Me is no exception. These two characters are strong willed and obstinate in their point of views while working with each other, but take them outside of the office, and HOLY SIZZLE BATMAN! The chemistry and tension between these two is off the charts! I LOVED this book and all the mountains and valleys they navigated through to realize their true feelings for each other. Every second of it spoke to me! I can’t wait to read more from this world!
Sweet, hot and cute all combine into a lovely story about two people not really knowing how much they need each other.
Lexi was painfully she but when see meets Shawn he stirs something deep inside that makes her realize she need to try harder to break out of her shell. And don’t even get me started about Shawn: he was attentive, funny, alpha and sweet down to the bone. Yes he almost lost her but when he finally got his mind straight nothing would stop in his way of getting his lass.
This was a nice way to spend my Sunday and I’m excited for the next couple to show on my Kindle.

Kristen Proby delivers yet another fantastic addition to the With Me in Seattle series. I absolutely adore this series and all the characters within. Every new addition to the series is a balm to my soul; its like I’m home and catching up with family & old friends. While new characters have been introduced, I love that we get glimpses into the original character’s happily ever afters from time to time. In this case, we get Natalie & Luke and I loved every second!
But they are by no way the highlight of the show. No, my friends, that would be the undeniable chemistry between Shawn & Lexi. These two butted heads from the start and each stubborn interaction between them just stoked the fire that was simmering. It was only a matter of time before it combusted and consumed them both.
“Watching you get worked up is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”
I mean, the arguing was definitely foreplay, but once they got down to business, there was nothing to be upset about. Lexi and Shawn were made for each other and it was evident with how passionate things were between them. They kept me wanting so much more.
Imagine with Me is the fifteen full-length standalone in one of my favorite series, With Me in Seattle by Kristen Proby. It’s the twentieth all together and I have read almost every single one. A few novellas slipped through and I need to read them soon. Very soon. Each book is connected and if you read Dream with Me then you have met Shawn, Kane’s brother.
Lexi is a novelist who enjoyed staying up curled up in a cozy throw blanket while either writing her next book or reading one. She didn’t leave her home often. She hated crowds, meeting new people, and flying. She was nervous about her trip to Seattle for those very things but she needed to be out there to work on a screenplay for one of her books. She didn’t want to give up control of her words, her characters, or her thoughts. She would be working with Shawn O’Callaghan. A brilliant and young screenwriter. She wasn’t excited about it especially after their first meeting. He wasn’t exactly welcoming…or ever on time.
Shawn usually did this alone and now he was working with a woman who pushed his buttons. Every. Last. One. She was sassy, witty, and a little odd. She needed to relax and he needed to not commute an hour and half every morning from the island he called home. So, they took their work there. One month and after one intense night of letting their pent-up desires go they make a deal. Coworkers with benefits. No strings attached. Easy, right? That always works out. Haha!
I devoured this book! Just like every other one in the series I have read. One sitting. One morning. That was it. Kristen’s books always pull me in with her lovable characters. Secondary ones as well especially when I know they will get their stories are too. The O’Callaghans are amazing. So much fun, loving, and supportive. Anyway, I loved Shawn and Lexi. Seeing her out of her comfort zone and thriving was badass. And, as usual with Proby books, the drunk scene was hilarious! I can’t wait for the next book!! See you again in Seattle in January!
Quotes:
“Do many murders take place amongst the Irish?” I ask Keegan, who raises a brow.
“Are you planning to kill him, then? What’ll it take to get you to wait until this evening is over? I don’t have anyone on hand to fill in in the kitchen.”
“You have a safe word,” he reminds me.
“Fuck the safe word,” I growl. “Just touch me. This is torture.”
“I can be vulnerable. I’m an artist.”
Imagine With me is the 15 book in the With Me in Seattle series and this follows the story of the second O O’Callaghan brother. and let me tell you if you have read the previous book in this series you don’t want to miss this one because is sooo good!!
This is the story of Shawn and Lexi. Lexi is an author who first book is going to be a movie thanks to Luke Williams , and Shawn is the screenwriter who has to work with Lexi to have the screenplay and respect Lexi’s story. When they meet the first time you can feel their amazing chemistry but Lexi being a really shy person and older that him just ignore it. Once they start working on the screenplay they dont have things easily because Lexi wants the story to be like her book but Shawn tells her that they need to do some changes so the story can look better on the big screen, so they have a some problems about that, until they decide they need to really work as a team so they can creat a great screenplay.
So that can happen Shawn offer to Lexi to go to his house in the island so they can have privacy and not lots of noises like they have in the office, so she accept and here is where everything gets more and more interesting!!! Lexi start coming out of her shell once she start knowing more about Shawn and his family and also she start to have a great relationship with them and helping in the family’ Pub.
Once the chemistry and feeling can’t be denied they start a relationship but this wont be all happiness because Lexi is still shy and having problems to accept that a person like Shawn is really interested in someone like her. So Shawn we have to show her that they can be a great couple and that their feeling are real!!! And finally they can have their HEA!
This is a great story about romance and also you can read about how Lexi start coming out of her shell and start trusting and having friendships with other people. You can see that the O’Callaghan family is a great support system and you keep knowing more about the rest of the members.
If you have love any book in this series or any Kristen’s book you will love this story so much!! She knows how to write a great romance book and thats why she is one of my favorite authors forever!!
I’m so excited to read more about the O’Callaghan’s and see who is the next in this series!!
Lexi Perry is a well-known author of thrillers whose book has been optioned for the big screen. Stepping far out of her comfort zone as an anti-social introvert who loves the comfort of familiar things, Lexie goes to Seattle to work on the screenplay with screenwriter Shawn O’Callaghan.
Expect lots of fireworks, because these two would rather smother each other with a pillow than be in the same room. Sure, there’s plenty of attraction, but they have a difficult time agreeing on anything when it comes to the screenplay. They have about a month to complete it, and Lexi finds it much easier to work in Shawn’s home with him than in the sterile conference room at Williams Films. And once Lexi meets Shawn’s family, she’s helpless but to fall in love with them.
This one is a little spicier than some of Proby’s other books, but I loved Shawn and Lexi’s story. Through her time with Shawn and his family, Lexi learns so much about herself and the woman she’d like to become, and I’m not sure the last time I saw a heroine reinvent herself the way Lexi does. Inspiring, steamy, heartfelt and fun, this terrific read is a wonderful addition to the series!
Hot Irishman. What else do you need to know?? But seriously, Shawn and Lexi’s story is a great addition to the With Me series. I loved it. And did I mention hot Irishman.???
Imagine with Me is like a painting. Proby draws the heart in with the design and captivates with the colorful characters she creates. Lexi and Shawn bring so many layers to their journey, that it feels as if it’s hard to keep track. From beautifully flawed to endearingly funny there is a bleeding of emotion that runs so deep, it will leave you mesmerized.
Oh my sparks flew off the page!! Lexi and Shawn have explosive chemistry in their office and even more outside!! Shawn opens Lexi’s eyes to see there is more to herself than she knew possible! Can they work out their feelings and figure out the distance in their relationship??
Imagine With Me is book 15 in the With Me In Seattle Series and as soon as I heard we were getting this book I was excited and it did not disappoint, this book was a great addition to one of my favourite series. We met Shawn O’Callaghan briefly in Dream with Me and now it’s time for the seriously hot Irish man to get his own story.
Shawn is a screenwriter and he has been asked to work with bestselling author Lexi Perry but Shawn is used to running the show and he is not used to working with a strong, independent woman who knows how they want their words portrayed on the big screen. So when Lexi tests his patience to the limit he decides to take her to his home rather than working in a strange office, maybe being at home will stop this woman pushing all of his buttons or maybe being together with his family will bring out the feelings this couple are clearly hiding….
I fell hard and fast for Shawn, I loved his personality and I loved how he challenged Lexi, I loved how he brings a side of her out that she has hidden away, I loved catching up with the family and friends from previous stories and I loved the banter that flows throughout this beautifully written romance.
A great addition to one of my favourite series and know I’m back with the gang from Seattle, I want more and I’m excited for the next instalment from Ms Proby.
Another great Kristen Proby book! I just love the O’Callaghan family! Shawn and Lexi are such a great couple! I loved watching Lexi come out of her shell! I can really relate to her! I love the way you get the entire family without it distracting from the main story! My only complaint would that I selfishly wanted it to be longer! I didn’t want to leave their world yet! I cannot wait for the next book! I would absolutely recommend this book!
Received an arc for a honest review.
Another great read by Kristen Proby. Shawn and Lexi’s chemistry is off the charts. When they are working on the screenplay they are constantly at each other. Not in a good way. When they are just not working they burn the sheets. Lexi fits right in with his family. When they are not writing they are spending time together whether it be outdoors or at the pub. She steps right in with his family. Although she is uncomfortable around strangers and very rarely leaves her home in Minnesota here in Washington she is so different. She spends time at the pub in the kitchen with Shawn not because she is forced to but because she wants to. She comes out of her shell when she is with Shawn and his family.
This story is so much more than a love story between Shawn and Lexi. It is a story about family and opening up to new possibilities along with trust. The relationship Shawn and Lexi develop is founded by trust. Lexi experiences things she never thought she would allow herself had she not met Shawn. He helps her grow into someone not so afraid to try new things. Together they create their own happily ever after.
I absolutely love this series, and this one did not disappoint! 5 Seattle stars for this one!
Here we get Shawn and Lexi’s story! She’s an author who’s book is set to be made into a movie, and Shawn is the one she has to work with to write the script with. To say their first meeting went wrong is putting it mildly. When they finally get on the right track, she fights him repeatedly on what he wants to change in her book. She wrote the character the way she wishes she could be, and when he wants to change it, she fights him. There is definitely sparks between them, but should they act on them when they have to work so closely together? Read this book and find out!
I seriously had to force myself to put the book down, I enjoyed it that much! Grab this one on release day! You will love it!
Lexi was having one of her books made into a movie by the amazing Luke Williams! Now she was writing the screen play with Shawn O’Callaghan. Could the man be more annoying???
Shawn just wanted to write the script but Lexi wanted it her way. Now way could this minx get her way.
The chemistry is off the charts! Loved how these two brought out the best in the other!!
Imagine With Me is a sexy fun read. For all of you fans of With Me in Seattle series you are just going to love this one. I mean how can you not when you have sexy Irish man Shawn to contend with. You have met Shawn a little bit in a previous book Dream With Me when you first meet the O’Callaghans family. This is his time for love. Shawn is a little stubborn and take charge kind of guy and had a dominate side to him that you will love. He is challenged with working with Lexi an author to bring her story to the screen. Lexi is used to working on her own and has her own idea on how the story goes. I love how Shawn challenges Lexi and brings a side she has hidden away. I love the banter between Lexi and Shawn. I love where Kristen Proby takes us. You will not be disappointed in this one.
