From New York Times Bestselling author Kristen Proby, comes an all new novel in her beloved With Me In Seattle series!Shawn O’Callaghan loves his job as a screenwriter almost as much as he loves his family. But this latest project could quite possibly test his patience beyond anything he’s ever had to endure. Generally unflappable, the author he’s thrown into the trenches with pushes every button … every button he has. Sometimes twice. And it doesn’t help that he can’t stop thinking about her in ways that are anything but professional. But how can he help it? The redhead is gorgeous beyond reason—and utterly infuriating.
Bestselling author Lexi Perry is finally about to leave her mark on the world; after all, seeing her dark and dangerous words brought to life is a dream come true. Until she meets the man who is supposed to make that happen. From the minute they laid eyes on each other, it was clear there would be tension, but she had no idea how much until they got down to business. He obviously doesn’t understand her vision. Though she’s having trouble lately too, given all she can picture is what he looks like under his clothes and imagining what it would sound like if he talked dirty to her in that sexy Irish lilt of his.
If they can find a way to meet in the middle, this movie could be one for the ages. As could their love.

A sexy, steamy workplace romance that will keep you turning pages until you reach their happily ever after!
Kristen brought all the steam with this co-worker romance! So good!
Another fantastic book by Kristen. I loved everything about the story.
A romance with struggles for independence as they find each other. I found it difficult to follow the number of characters and found the list at the end. It would have helped to find the character relationships at the beginning. Also, I am always disappointed when the story ends just as they admit their love. I like epilogues which take us into their futures so the reader really knows there is a HEA.
Imagine this…a fabulous story filled with steam, romance and truly lovable (but stubborn) characters! The author created another amazing couple that I immediately fell in love with.
I don’t enjoy having to say this about a book I anticipated enjoying. However, I did NOT like Lexi. She was a contradiction that didn’t make sense even in a fictional way. I’m okay with a character changing and finding a new sense of themselves throughout a story. As a matter of fact, I would normally really enjoy watching this shift. Unfortunately, Lexi just continued to get on my nerves with her paranoia one page and then her unbending stubbornness the next. Lexi and Shawn did not connect enough at any point for me to believe they should be anything more than temporary lovers.
I think I could’ve accepted her character a little easier if she hadn’t been dubbed as an ‘agoraphobic’, even if it was how she saw herself. She was simply someone who had gotten into a routine of staying home and working instead of making the choice to take time out.
On the positive side, I really enjoy the O’Callaghan family. I loved Kane & Stasia’s story and look forward to moving on with Keegan. Their interactions and family dynamic were the bright point of this book. This whole series is definitely worth reading; Imagine with Me is just a small dim blip to a group of stories and characters I have truly loved getting to know.
When first introduced by Luke, Shawn sticks his foot in his mouth not knowing she is the one he will be working on his next screen play with. I understand Lexi’s frustration with Shawn throughout the book, it really added something to the story when they were working together. I also love the family bound the Kristen Proby puts in her books. The Montgomerys and Williams were great but I am so loving the Irish O’Callaghan clan.
“Imagine with Me” by Kristen Proby was a fast-paced, amusing, and sweet yet steamy story featuring likeable characters and good chemistry between main characters Shawn O’Callaghan and Lexi Perry. That said, I thought the character development could have been better; for example, I would have loved to know more about Shawn’s overseas travels and why he became a screenwriter, as well as Lexi’s life in Minneapolis and if there was a specific event that caused her to think that she was agoraphobic. In addition, there wasn’t much keeping them apart aside from stubbornness and failure to communicate, which I found frustrating at times.
On the bright side, the book’s secondary characters were a lot of fun and added a tremendous amount of depth and humor to the story. Shawn’s siblings were particularly delightful, and I loved how warm and welcoming they were of Lexi. I look forward to reading more about the O’Callaghan clan in future installments of the series.
Overall, I enjoyed and would recommend “Imagine with Me” for all fans of contemporary romance. I look forward to checking out more of the With Me in Seattle series soon.

Five huge stars for this fantastic read!! I love been back amongst the With Me In Seattle family, it’s like going home!
There are fireworks from the off and I could not put this down! I was drawn in from the first page, this author for why she does best, making the reader feel part of the family, part of the story!
The story starts a little tense already. For those who read the previous one (You Belong with me), remember that Luke Williams was about to produce a mystery film from Nora Perry’s book (pen name), and when Shawn O’Callaghan was introduced to a such a writer, Lexi, he already came on the flight thinking that she was another aspirant to fame.
And it went wrong.
The two would have to work together. He would adapt the book for the screen and Lexi wanted to make sure that nothing important in the story was cut.
Needless to say, the atmosphere has become tense, right?
To make matters worse, Lexi had a degree of OCD, and she was even thought to suffer from agoraphobia.
The work was being done at Luke’s production company in Seattle. Unproductive.
Shawn was late every day – to Lexi’s despair – because of the ferry. So, his suggestion was to move to the island where he and his family lived.
Lexi was passion at first sight.
The setting, the stillness, but with the effervescence of Keegan’s pub, Shawn’s older brother.
There on the island, their work flourishes… as well as their romance. But it was all temporary… Or at least it was the deal. Each realized that they were getting more involved than should have, but none of them wanted to take the first step, which, to the O’Callaghan’s dismay, Shawn was going beyond being an idiot. Lexi was a total match with the family!
Her period on the island helped her to meet and rediscover the pleasure she had in running, going out with friends, traveling (despite her fear of flying), in short, in enjoying life better and all that money she had been earning with her books.
It was also there that Shawn fell, and he decided – rather late – that she was the right woman for him.
And it takes miles flying everywhere!
Sexy, romantic and funny.
And yes, I soooo wanted to go to Keegan’s pub.
5 stars
Another great story! This is a great, romantic love story. It has a bit of everything. I will say, a bit too much back and forth for my liking. Shawn and Lexi embark on a relationship with a certain understanding. The relationship takes on a mind of its own! It’s a great ride spanning the globe. Such a romantic ending.
Proby masterfully turns up the heat in this sizzling workplace romance!
More in the series please!
When scriptwriter Shawn O’Callaghan and writer Lexi Perry learn to work together to produce a script for her bestselling novel. Lexi was used to being by herself as an introvert while writing but when she had to work with Shawn O’Callaghan, she realized that she needed to be around other people and helping at the family pub was a start. Shawn was such an extrovert that opposites attract with Lexi and their writing.
I don’t want Kristen Proby to ever finish the With Me in Seattle series!
Definitely one of my favorite series!
I love this author’s work and I know I can always find a safe haven within her books. If I’m feeling out of sorts or needing some balance, her books are sure to relax me and I feel light again.
And it was no different this time.
Lexi is sweet, shy and doesn’t know really well how to deal with people. But she doesn’t fall in this stereotyped hole. More than the obvious, she is also fierce, driven, creative, smart, stubborn. And even though she is out of her comfort zone (or even because of it), she begins to learn how to stand up for herself.
Shawn can be controlling sometimes, but time after time he starts compromising and he show that he can be more than a type-A personality. He is caring, funny, sweet. He is totally loyal to his family and his loved ones.
Together, they give as good as they get. What started out as failure in the making soon became their moment to thrive not only professionally, but emotionally as well.
They understood each other more than they expected. There were respect, admiration, support and whole lot of chemistry and love.
And as we always get, their family and friends scene were amazing, so sweet and funny.
What an awesome book.
Happy Dance!!! I was so thrilled to visit the O’Callaghan’s. I envy the sibling characters closeness. I appreciate that they have flaws that make them more believable. The reader gets to visit the island thanks to Shawn O’Callaghan.
He has been hired by Luke Williams to write a screen play with Lexi Perry. Thank goodness first impressions can be repaired or there wouldn’t be a wonderful story to enjoy. Second and third impressions don’t help Shawn much either.
Lexi is struggling at Luke’s offices. She is so out of her comfort zone. She tries to find a solution, ordering throws and pillows, but nothing is working. Shawn’s continual lateness has a lot to do with his commute. It seems the ferry isn’t very consistent. The commute is long and draining. Something needs to be done. Shawn’s solution might just work if Lexi is open to it.
Lexi blossoms with the Shawn and his siblings. She needs to start living. What better way than to being open to coworkers with benefits. Weeks in close proximity, sharing a bed, working together, playing together lead to something Shawn denies. Is this the end of them?
Time doesn’t always heal all wound. Sometimes groveling is involved. I am not sure what journey I enjoyed more, Lexi discovering herself or Shawn realizing his mistake and trying to make amends.
Shawn might be a moron, but his family has no problem telling him what he needs to do. Thank goodness for family otherwise I might not have enjoyed a Happily Ever After.
There is something about Kristen Proby’s With Me in Seattle series that always keeps me coming back for me. It’s the crazily connected family tree. The fabulous friendships. The way everyone accepts and embraces each other as one of their own. And Imagine With Me in no exception to that formula.
To say Shawn and Lexi’s first meeting was ire inspiring is an understatement. They were so similar but also so different in many aspects of their lives that they were bound to but heads. Being forced together for a work project caused both of their stubborn streaks to come out and play. However, under the frustration was this simmering tension that they both wanted to give into. And when they did…WHEW! HOT HOT HOT!!
I loved how Shawn pushed Lexi out of her comfort zone and it gave her something she had been missing, herself. Between work and sexy play and nights helping the O’Callaghan crew at the pub, they found their stride. And as hard as they tried, they both did the one thing they agreed they wouldn’t…catch feelings. Too bad their deadline was coming up and Lexi would be headed home.
I was so nervous for the last quarter of this book. They were so headstrong they wouldn’t listen to what their hearts were telling them. I had no idea how or even if they would get it together. But oh my heart, the lengths Shawn went to to prove his true feelings…swoon! It was the most epic (if not stalkerish) move and couldn’t have been better if Hollywood had written the script.
I love this series from Kristen. There was plenty of loving, plenty of sexy times and just plain old fun times.
The perfect Enemies to Lovers romance.
Loved catching up with the With Me in Seattle series favourites. Every couple has such a great story and I really enjoy every moment. I cant wait for more.
What was not to love about Lexi and Shawn?! They met when they were working together and it didn’t start out on the right foot. She had several thoughts of killing him couple times, lol. But then things shifted and they were great together even though Shawn insisted that it was nothing more. But of course things get serious, there’s little no drama and they find themselves where they belong. Shawn’s family were amazing and were very good secondary characters; their inputs at times were hilarious. Shawn’s family loved Lexi from the beginning. Can’t wait to read more on this Irish clan.
Imagine With Me was a magnificent read. Shawn and Lexi’s story was enthralling. It was fascinating to see how the relationship between the two of them progressed as the story continues. They complemented each other so perfectly and they were just so cute together. I enjoyed their banter. I made their dynamic that much more intriguing. I also love seeing the rest of the O’Callaghan family. They are a hoot and endearing. I am excited for the rest of the siblings to get their books. Overall, this was an entertaining, swoony, and flirty story.
Love that Kristen continues to write this series! This was my first series from Kristen and although I’ve read others from her, this is my tried and true and I always come back to it! In this installment we meet Shawn and Lexi. Lexi has somewhat of agoraphobia and while in town for work she continues her habits as best she can. But thankfully, Shawn steps in and shakes everything up for her. With his casual lifestyle, it clashes with Lexi’s and it becomes somewhat of an opposites attract type of situation. As Lexi continues to get to know Shawn as well as his family, the sparks fly and of course things lead to them being together, but between Lexi’s agoraphobia and Shawn’s inability to commit, things get a little hairy between them. Thankfully everything ends up how it should be, and we also see Lexi understand her agoraphobia and work through those feelings to the point where she becomes full functioning again! Can’t wait for the next installment in this series – hopefully some of Shawn’s siblings!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
