I’m an animal, a member of the Sin City Outlaws motorcycle club that isn’t capable of human compassion. So I’ve been told anyway.Raven is my club’s prisoner. I’ve been ordered to break her. It should be easy given my violent history. But being this close to a woman—this woman—for the first time in a long time, is like sharing company with the demon Lilith herself. She’s my perfect toy. Filled with … Filled with a dark rage. Blessed with perfected beauty. Sinfully sweet and wickedly divine. Everything about her solicits the demons inside me
I want to hear her screams. I want those big, dark eyes looking up at me—silently begging me for mercy. I want to be her heaven…and her hell.
My desire for her is forbidden. My infatuation is illicit. I’m betraying my club.
And if the wage of my sin is death, then this woman is going to get me killed.

“She’s the kind of crazy you could get addicted to quickly.”
I’m just going to start with saying that this is by far my favorite book in the Sin City Outlaws. I’ve been following this series from the start and I’ve been putting in my reviews that I was looking for a bit more grit and Forgy freaking delivered with this one.
Illicit is dark and gritty with two broken souls fighting to seek the freedom they so desperately need. Most of the time it’s ugly but every once and a while beauty strikes from within.
Raven and Machete are both so broken in different ways yet they are equally strong. You can tell from the start that they are perfect for each other. Even Machete’s brothers could see that. Despite the fact that Raven is their enemy and Machete is the one that has to torture her for club business.
It’s been a while since I’ve liked the heroine as much as the hero. There’s something about the two of them that just sucked me in and had me latching on for dear life. I was connected to them. I felt invested in their story.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. If you are looking for a gritty MC book with broken souls, redemption, and crazy kind of love, this is the book for you. It can be read as a standalone.
Exciting, high octane read with enough suspense and angst, I was totally absorbed.
The new installment of the troubles affecting the Sin City Outlaws, Illicit is much more than just Machete’s story!
Finally we get answers to know more about Machete’s secretive character and what dark secrets created his unique style of punishment are painfully explored!
Moreover, Cross and his whereabouts are discovered, but in true MN Forgy style, new twists are thrown into the mix that had my jaw dropping with a Holy Mother of Dragons moment.
Machete’s unique method of punishment may have the opposite effect in braking his prisoner Raven!
BUT…Will she break down or will Machete?
What Machete discovers about Raven, and himself made this read a pure joy!
The ending felt a little rushed and hence 4.5 stars!
Like I can’t even get the words to come to my mind to right this review, I’m in utter and complete shock of the whole damn thing. Like amazing shock not the bad icky shock. Machete and Raven are these amazing couple I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into and boy was I not disappointed at all. MN Forgy has done an outstanding job with getting both their stories out and even the plot twist was amazing. every page had something new and exciting happening rather you were ready for it or not. The love that was shown is like nothing you have seen in this author’s stories before its 10times better, hotter and edge of the seat read. The amount of details of the past made this story even better, what makes this stick out the most is the 2 dark and lost souls coming together and becoming 1. Even through everything they both have been through they show that they can really come out on top and even better. The whole bat thing who would have thought to write about that, something different and unique is what I’m calling it. I freaking Floved this story from start to end. I wanted more and more by the end. MUST READ. You’ll have a huge book hangover by the end fair warning but it’s so worth it over and over again.
