HP Lovecraft meets Cruel Intentions in the chilling conclusion to this dark paranormal reverse harem bully romance. Warning: Not for the faint of heart – this story of three broken bad boys and the girl who stood her ground contains dark themes, crazed cultists, books bound in human skin, high-school drama, swoon-worthy sex, and potential triggers.

This book was the last in the series and the author managed to tie everything up in a neat little bow fantastically.
My heart broke when Paul died, however, I was full of glee when that awful John turned to dust. He was a creep. (I had a cuss word in mind, but I was afraid my review would be censored.)
The way Hazel tried to pull away from her three Kings was heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. Sacrificing herself for the sake of giving the Kings back their lives. That killed me.
This was steamier than the first three books and the sexy times were Super Sexy and Hot, Hot, Hot. (I need a harem of my own)
This series was awesome, and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in Bully romance/Academy/Paranormal.
I can’t believe it’s over. I actually feel a little bereft right now.
This is the final book in this outstanding series. Hazel and her three guys are up to their necks in trouble in this one. Parents who should all go to hell for what they have done to their children. Putting them before wealth. Torture. Lots of pain. And lots and lots of fire. And an outstanding ending. Fancy having three guys like these ones in your life and all yours to play with at will. The bad boys have sure come good and Hazel is reaping the benefits. Very highly recommended series.
The final book in this explosive and addicting series. I simply could not put it down! There is so much going on, from Hazel’s deal with the God to the Teachers and Parents not agreeing on how to proceed with their current arrangement. Add to that the sizzling romance and this book was scorching and addictive.
Hazel is determined to free her Kings, no matter the cost. In addition, she wants to make the parents pay for what they’ve done in their greed. There was some death, permanent death. There was also seemingly more betrayal and lots of plotting and planning. I was so happy to finally get some answers about the rats. How everything came about to tie together and finish off this series was nothing short of amazing. My brain can’t even conceive of the imagination this author has shown.
In the end, I believe that fans of the series will be pleased with how things turn out and how the book is completed. I’m a fan of an epilogue that kind of shows “where are they now” and that’s just what the author gave us.
Ignited by Steffanie Holmes is book 4 in the Kings of Miskatonic Prep Series. This continues the story of Hazel, Trey, Ayaz, and Quinn, so you really should read the first book ‘Shunned’, the second book ‘Initiated’ and ‘Possessed’ first. This is the conclusion of this series. We have Hazel coming into to her power and using it to help her Kings. This has been a page turning series that has that dark side that has some mystery drama. I always know I am going to be getting a spicy hot read with some page turning drama with this author.
Can Hazel free the students, and will they be human again? I was so eager to see what happens to Hazel and the students but now that the story has ended I will miss these characters. I absolutely loved the ending and let’s just say the student’s parents, who let their kids be killed years ago, got what they deserved. I don’t want to give away the ending but it was perfect.
In this last book in the series a lot of questions are answered. Hazel has done something that is just comes natural to her when upset or overly excited, she is trying to fight the bullying of the students to her still after all this time, but she brings them to heel soon enough when she gives them a choice. The Headmistress West and Vincent Bloomberg the leader of the Eldritch Club are still up to evil plot to rule the world Hazel. Quinn is frightened of Hazel but Trey is right there with her but Ayaz has been injured. Hazel and the guys finally come up with a plan to save everyone if possible. She finds a family member. There is a lot of action, suspense and romance. HEA. I was given an ARC as a gift from author without obligation. I am providing an honest review
Overall rating: 4.5
A stunning finish to a great series. Hopefully you have been following this storyline and have joined the journey of these tormented characters. This series contains mature content as well as a reverse harem scenario so be informed. This author did a wonderful job keeping a reader guessing. With a plethora of bad guys, you never know when a double cross is heading your way. Truly worthy of re reads! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
The Kings of Miskatonic Prep. may have lost their throne, but they are determined to continue the fight for their lives. Hazel has become more powerful than ever, and she makes a deal with the god beneath the school. Her fire can send the god home, and she will give her soul to save the students from the god, the faculty, and their parents. But, she must convince the men she loves, that their lives and the lives of the students, and staff, are worth fighting for, and saving.
Fascinating, unique, and compelling characters, some you might love, some you can’t help but hate, but by the conclusion of this series you will be on the edge of you seat hoping for the freedom of the students, and the god(?) who resides under Miskatonic Prep. Wow! Exciting action, magic, mayhem, and plots within the plot, with unexpected, and surprising twists. I think this is a must read book, and a fantastic conclusion to an incredible series. I loved it!
I am voluntarily leaving an honest and non-incentivized review of this ARC.
