I’ll never love again after losing my wife. There’s no time for it anyway. My daughter is my main focus, along with fighting fires for a living. I’ve closed up my heart and decided the bachelor life is for me. Or that was the plan. And yet there’s something about my daughter’s teacher. The woman unravels me—one smile at a time. Too bad she’s off limits.A casual fling would be nice. But no, it’s … bad she’s off limits.
A casual fling would be nice. But no, it’s not right.
Unfortunately, the pretty woman who’s staining my dreams disagrees.
She wants what I want, and so much more.
No matter how badly I fight it, all bets are off, and I’m losing this battle.
She lights a fire inside me that rivals the ones I’ve dedicated my life to fighting.
And no matter how much I fight it, this woman is mine.
Now. Tomorrow. Forever.
Every Good Girl Deserves a Bad Boy. ~ Weston

Ignite The Spark Between Us (Searing Saviors Book 4) 4 stars
I purchased a copy of the sweet to mildly steamy Florida-based novel Ignite The Spark Between Us (Searing Saviors Book 4) Mav and Allie by Weston Parker and this review was given freely.
A well-rounded story containing a mainly clean virgin romance with a touch of steam, a generally thoughtful and all-around good guy and loving father, a loving but interfering grandmother, and Allie’s unfiltered best friend Candice. Single parent Mav Cantone struggles to juggle his firefighting job and being a single father with the help of his live-in grandmother until he is offered a promotion, his daughter Olivette starts kindergarten, he finds himself attracted to the kindergarten teacher Allie, and his grandmother begins talking of moving to a retirement community.
Enjoyable read. This is the 4th book in the Searing Saviors series. This story is about Mav and Allie,. Mav is getting ready to send his daughter Olivette to kindergarten. Allie is the kindergarten teacher. When Allie meets Mav she is attracted to him, but she is a virgin and has no experience with men at all. When Mav takes an interest in Allie, she is the first woman to get his attention since his wife died and he knows he has to ask her to dinner. Mav loves how Allie deals with Olivette. Mav and Allie meet when his daughter starts kindergarten and is in Allie’s class. Neither one can deny the sparks flying. The pages in this book will fly so quickly as you want to find their HEA. Wonderful book! I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book.
Mav is a fire fighter who is still suffering from the death of his wife in childbirth. His daughter, Collette, is the darling of his life and he wants to make sure that her first year in school is an enjoyable one. Allie is a brilliant woman with an advanced degree in engineering, but her heart is in teaching. Olivette feels an instant connection to her teacher and so does Mav. Allie seems to be the one person who can pull him from his loneliness and brooding. They develop feelings for one another and Mav asks her out. Their evening doesn’t go quite as intended and they give it another try. Confronting feelings that are hidden or new, it takes them a number of starts and stops to get their act together. When they do, the spark fly and everything is as it should be. Olivette steals the show with her sweet and goofy personality! Weston Parker has written another addition to the Searing Saviors series that sparkles!
If you love firefighter single dad this one is a must! Talk about realistic struggles of a single dad juggling taking care of his Daughter and his physically demanding job.
Both thrive and are drawn to her kindergarten teacher. She’s fantastic with her students and lot of laugh out loud moments. I enjoyed he time with her teaching and differences in students and their parents. The connection between the three grows over time.
Another must read by author Weston Parker.
*I was given a copy and am voluntarily giving my honest review.
Another hot one for Weston Parker. This is a great story and it was hard to put down once I began reading. Well-written with lots of twists and plenty of steam. This is Mav’s story and was the 4th book in the Searing Saviors Series of gorgeous firefighters. The story is both emotional and heartwarming. Mav lost his wife in childbirth and is busy with his job and raising his adorable daughter, Olivette. He had no time for romance but his daughter’s kindergarten teacher ignites his desires. No spoiler here, but this is a great book that was so much fun to read. You’ll love it.
This was a stirring novel about overcoming grief and being open and honest with those you love. Mav is a widowed single dad and full time firefighter. Allie is a pre-kindergarten teacher. When these two meet on the first day of school, there’s an instant connection yet there’s also a line in the sand they shouldn’t cross. Ignite the Spark Between Us is filled with heartache, secrets, grief, humorous wit, uncertainty, doubts, passion, and love. this was such a well written captivating story with wonderful characters that readers will fall in love with. I absolutely loved reading this book and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
“I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this novel.”
If you have read any books in this series then you know who Mav is. He’s this single dad who does it all but when his little girl starts school things change . We ,eet Allie, her teacher and bam it’s like they are meant to be but not really sure how to make it happen. Through out it all we watch as these to make it work and in the long run become that happily ever after couple. So worth the read. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy.
Another fantastic book for this series, I loved the chemistry between Allie and Mav! I also got a kick out of how their first date went, because not everything in a relationship is perfect, so to see how theirs turned out was good, but I was even more impressed by the fact that they actually chose to communicate with each other about what happened and decided to try another date. Good character development and dialogue with a believable story made this entertaining and fun to read.
This is well-written with a great storyline and great characters you won’t be able to put this book down. This read was sexy and exciting. Strong and memorable characters with fabulous chemistry. A Sweet romance that turns into the truest kind of love.
A kindergarten teacher and a firefighter who is a single dad. Allie has a masters in engineering but teaching is her passion. Man is a single father to his four year old daughter Olivette. He is a firefighter working hard with his team in Searing. His grandmother moved in to help him after his wife died. This was well written, has wonderful characters and the storyline was fantastic. There is some drama, definite sparks and so much more. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Take one kindergarten teacher plus one firefighter/single dad, mix in some drama, twists, heartbreaking moments, loss, chemistry that leaps off the pages, great characters, love, and a HEA, and you get an amazing single dad romance story.
I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.
Excellent book about Allie & Mav. Lots of sparks fly in this exciting read! I read an arc copy of this book.
Thoroughly enjoying this series. Can’t wait for the next hot hero. Great end of summer/beginning of new school year read!
When firefighter and single dad Mav meets Allie, his daughters kindergarten teacher they have an immediate attraction with sparks flying between them. The author does a great job building their story and bringing it to life with his descriptive writing and detailed scenes. He has a way of delivering emotional, sexy and beautiful love stories that are always at the top of my reading list and this is one to read over again. I loved this book/series and am looking forward to his next one!!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I liked Allie and Mav’s story. These two were meant to be from the beginning. Mav was a hot and sexy man with a big heart. Allie was so good with her students and with Mav. They bought out the best in eachother.
This story is a great addition to the “Searing Saviors” series. This is a really good firefighter and single father story. It’s well written and nicely developed with good characters. I really enjoyed Mav and Allie’s story. Add cute little Olivette and you get a great read. This is such a heartwarming story about finding love and trusting.
This is the story of Mav and his daughter, Olivette. Mav lost his wife during childbirth, and doesn’t have time (or the inclination) for more than a one night stand. When Olivette starts school, he is surprised at his attraction to her teacher, Allie. Allie is young and beautiful and he fights the attraction he feels towards her, until he cant’. This a beautifully developed story about healing, finding love again, and has a wonderful HEA. I received an advanced readers copy of this book and highly recommend it.
This is book 4 of the fantastic series, Searing Saviors, by the amazing best selling author, Weston Parker. These books are about some of the firefighters in one station and it is now Mav’s turn to find romance. I must admit that I loved him in book 3 where he helped out the hero. He is a widower with a gorgeous little chatterbox called Olivette who is his pride, joy and reason for living. When he gets to meet her teacher, Allie, that Olivette has just started ‘warming’ towards they are both struck by mutual attraction. But is it appropriate? They struggle with their feelings towards one another but why? They are both single and needing love?Plus Olivette will certainly be encouraging them. he gets some teasing from his colleagues but I think that’s because they like him and are pleased for him finding love. The chemistry between them was palpable and so well written that it was almost able to ‘feel’ their love for each other. The three of them are such wonderful 3-D characters with obviously Olivette being the heart steeling favourite. Written with passion and sensitivity such that I didn’t want to put this page turner down. One to re-read as it’s just so good [in fact the whole series is going to be read by me]. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most Definitely Recommended.
