USA Today bestselling author Magda Alexander brings you a tale of heartbreak and love, loss and redemption in this Hollywood meets small town summer romance. An actor who’s lost his soulThere is nothing studios won’t give for my name in their movie, whether it’s money, women, or fame. But fame bores me. Money? I have more than enough. And women? Not interested in the Hollywood types. The one thing … interested in the Hollywood types. The one thing I crave they can’t give me. The redemption of my soul. For you see, I committed the ultimate sin, one I can’t take back. I can’t find absolution. No matter how hard I try. Until I land in a small beach town for a summer production and meet a waitress with a heart of gold.
A down-on-her-luck waitress
The last thing I want is another man in my life. The last one stole every penny from me. Money I’d been saving to go back to school. If I work double shifts at the diner, I just might earn enough. But only if I keep my eye on the ball. Only if I’m not sidelined by distractions.
A summer they won’t forget
But then a stranger stumbles into my diner one stormy night looking for a meal and a place to stay, and I offer the unthinkable–shelter in my home. When he’s gone in the morning, I think that’s the end of it. But I am wrong. Dead wrong. Because the stranger returns, and this time he wants much more than my couch. He wants me in his bed.
If Tomorrow Ever Comes is a standalone romance with a guaranteed HEA, smexy times, and lots of pies.

This is a heartwarming love story with strong characters in Ryder and Rain. The author takes them on an emotional journey as they slowly come together after all the frustrations and secrets are worked out. It’s an entertaining story that captured me from start to finish. I enjoyed reading their story.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
If Tomorrow Ever Comes is a fantastic read. It’s a mix of feel good, heartache, and red hot sexy times. With an enthralling storyline, wonderful characters, and amazing twists and turns, this book is an absolute must read. I loved it and highly recommend!
‘If Tomorrow Ever Comes‘ is a stand-alone title, although there are secondary characters that I hope will have their story told one day – time will tell on that.
On the surface, Ryder and Rain’s relationship is a bit of a hidden identity romance yet as we learn more about each person’s past, especially Ryder’s, it goes far beyond that simplistic definition. There is definitely sizzle along with an almost insta-love feel here, but there is also deep pain from the past, secrets that were held back far too long, and a sense of redemption, of finally coming to terms with what has happened in order to move on and grab the chance at a different future, for them both.
Because of those ‘secrets’, I don’t feel that I can safely, without giving away spoilers, say much more beyond that there are unexpected twists and turns in this story that will head straight to your emotions. I was captured by this couple, their pasts, and the desire to see something better for them in a shared future. ‘If Tomorrow Ever Comes‘ is an emotional journey with an intriguing couple and interesting secondary characters that I want to know more about.
If you’re in the mood for a really good romance then Ryder and Rain can certainly provide that for you.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
When receiving a free book, some are gems and some are dust. If Tomorrow Ever Comes is a gem. I read it straight through. I highlighted several passages where the author said it just right. I loved her turn with a phrase
Lobed this book …..Great story. Do not miss the opportunity to be swept away in this story. This will not be the last book I read from this author.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I voluntarily read an arc of this book for an honest review. Yeah you’re gonna want to read this one. I’ve always loved Magda Alexander. Her Storm series is one I devoured and this one is no different. Rain is a really good person who you find yourself only wanting the best for while Ryder aka Dave seems really great even though he keeps his true identity a secret. They’ve both experienced tragedy and have scars they can’t get passed. I loved the town, the peripheral characters and the angst between Rain and Ryder . Their chemistry is undeniable and his love for her even though she couldn’t see it sometimes is the stuff of legends. Read this book for an awesome ride!
Wow! If you read a book this year, read this one. Full of angst, heart break, drama, sexy scenes, and twists and turns, I could not put this book down. I even connected with the secondary characters that I’m hoping Natalie and Michael get their stories as well. I loved it so much, I was sad to reach the end even though it was a beautiful epilogue. Highly recommend!
I received a free copy from both Booksprout and Netgalley (see I loved this book so much I”m even going to buy it!). This is my unbiased review.
