In this riveting sequel to the USA TODAY bestseller If I Run, evil lurks, drawing Casey out of the shadows . . . but there is light shining in the darkness. Casey Cox is still on the run, fleeing prosecution for a murder she didn’t commit. Dylan Roberts–her most relentless pursuer–is still on her trail, but his secret emails insist he knows the truth and wants to help her. He’s let her escape … her escape before when he had her in his grasp, but trust doesn’t come easily.
As Casey works to collect evidence about the real murderers, she stumbles on another unbearable injustice: an abused child and a suicidal man who’s also been falsely accused. Casey risks her own safety to right this wrong and protect the little girl from her tormenters. But doing so is risky and may result in her capture–and if she’s captured, she has no doubt she’ll be murdered before she ever steps foot in a jail cell.

Great books in this series. Read one right after the other .
Great read!
Casey risks her freedom again to help an abused child. You have to wonder why she keeps risking her freedom to help someone else. Is she getting any closer to finding the right piece of evidence to expose the real killers? Find out when you read the story.
I received a copy from The Fiction Guild. I was not required to give a favorable review. All thoughts are my own. If you ever want a book that is so suspenseful this is the book. Casey is on the run after being accused of killing her best friend. But she didn’t do it. She is trying to clear her father name and get the men who killed him and made it look like a suicide. Her family has been threatened and the family of the guy was killed has hired their own PI to help look for her. But after talking to her figures out she didn’t kill his friend. But the dirty cops are still on the force and they have to proof that they are doing. Twist and turns are amazing, Casey helping people a long the way has made a big difference on how some people look at her. I can’t wait until the last book is out because I want to know that they finally get the guys who killed her dad, friend and another witness to all the bad things they have done.
I loved this series! Don’t miss out.
I’d like to thank NetGalley for approving me for this e-arc which this has been sent on my shelf for ages and I finally got to it. I read the first book If I run and I was intrigued I think I rated it 5 stars, looking back it’s more of a 4 star. I think I was mad it was a series because when I requested it, didn’t know that at the time. Anyway regardless I did carry on with this series and I am so bloody glad I did. I also have the final book which I’m going to start soon. I loved If I’m found. Absolutely loved it. Also more exciting is I got approved on Netgalley for the 3rd and final book and I am ready for it. I am so excited! I have become hooked on this book and series.
So let’s start with I loved being back in this world and with the characters and I loved seeing how both of the events that happened in If I Run have lingered into this book and has added to the case of whether Casey killed her best friend or not which we as a reader already know what happened.
I loved how much Casey cared about her family in this, especially when it came to her sister, Hannah, and the baby that I’ve forgotten the name of. Also when it came to her family being threatened she was willing to turn herself in, the only thing that stopped her was Dylan telling her it was a trap.
Dylan oh I fell even more in love with him, seeing how he didn’t trust the cops that were after Casey (who yet again I can’t remember their names, either way, they are class A dicks) he was determined to find out the truth. I also loved seeing more of how is PTSD affects him and that he does sometimes struggle with it. I also loved seeing him with one of his army buddies and that we did get to see that side of him.
Halfway through this story, I managed to somehow want them together, I loved the chemistry Dylan and Casey had together and then in my head. I was like yeah, I want them together. THEN WHAT HAPPENS. Coming to the end of the novel, there is a kiss! A KISS! I loved it. I was completely there for it. I was like YASSS and then I remembered she was still on the run and she had to leave.
Dylan has not given up trying to find the truth of what happened to Brent, and I am loving that he is willing to definitely do that knowing the consequences that could come from that. Especially as he did let her go in If I Run!
I loved the tension and the storyline in this book, honestly, if you are looking for something to read!
I loved this series!
Loved the first 2 in the series and can’t wait for the next book to come out.
Love this series!!!
Enjoyed
Another wonderful Blackstock book — ran straight to the library to read the third installment!!!! Highly recommend.
Kept me wanting more from the book. Ready to read the sequel!!
The heroine is in a hopeless situation with the odds of the truth coming out and being vindicated stacked against her. Yet there is still hope because of the unlikely man determined to help her right the wrongs done her. You’re left with a feeling of hope.
Refreshing and kept me wanting more with each page.
