In this riveting sequel to the USA TODAY bestseller If I Run, evil lurks, drawing Casey out of the shadows . . . but there is light shining in the darkness. Casey Cox is still on the run, fleeing prosecution for a murder she didn’t commit. Dylan Roberts–her most relentless pursuer–is still on her trail, but his secret emails insist he knows the truth and wants to help her. He’s let her escape … her escape before when he had her in his grasp, but trust doesn’t come easily.
As Casey works to collect evidence about the real murderers, she stumbles on another unbearable injustice: an abused child and a suicidal man who’s also been falsely accused. Casey risks her own safety to right this wrong and protect the little girl from her tormenters. But doing so is risky and may result in her capture–and if she’s captured, she has no doubt she’ll be murdered before she ever steps foot in a jail cell.

Casey Cox still continues to run from the man sent to capture her, and bring her home so she can be formally sentenced with her friends death. While she didn’t commit the murder she is being accused of, she still feels the need to flee for her own personal safety, the folks hunting her down had a hand in her father’s death and she knows if they catch up to her she is likely to be next on their list of casualties. Casey knew all along her father’s death was not a suicide and now she has all the information she needs to prove it, only the men involved in covering up her father’s murder want to keep her quiet because they are afraid of all of their shady dealings being discovered.
When Dylan Roberts set out to capture the woman responsible for murdering his friend he thought it was an easy case to tackle, but the farther he digs into Casey’s past, the more he realizes the people who he is supposed to be helping are not exactly on the up and up. They have deep ties to Casey’s father’s death and they know she is closing in on them, and they want to keep her silent. Now Dylan finds himself wanting to protect the very woman he is supposed to be capturing and turning over the police.
The moment you start this one you will be pulled right back into the thick of things with Casey and Dylan, feeling as though you never really left them, and also finding yourself right back on the edge of your seat. This addictive story line is packed with twists and turns, heartfelt emotion, and carried out by two endearing characters that you can’t help but root for, and have hope for! I loved revisiting them, seeing their personal growth since the first installment, watching them find hope in the darkest of places, and now I am anxiously awaiting the third installment to see how it all ends for them!
Highly recommend this series, it is sure to take you on a thrilling literary ride!!
I bought this book the day it came out and finished it the next day. This series is a wonderful page turner as you want to see how and what happens to the characters. It keeps you memorized and draws you into the non-stop action. I love how the characters are learning to trust God and how to step out in faith.
I love the whole series. I often found myself lost in the story and missing sleep. I liked all the twists and turns and felt the characters almost became friends.
This was pretty good. I didn’t care for the ending, but I’m thinking there may be a third book coming in the series.
I did not want to put it down
This series has me enthralled…in fact I just re-read the 1st two in the series in preparation for the final one that just came out. Terri knows how to weave a story that just holds on to you and makes you not want to put it down…and it is never totally predictable.
Lots of suspense, so if that’s what you enjoy, the second in this series will provide. The first book in the series is a must read, though.
This is book two in a three book series and it ends in a cliffhanger so you are warned not to read this one until you have the entire set available. I devoured this book as if I was on a desert island with no other reading material. Casey’s continuing story was dramatic, suspenseful, and even hopeful. Wow. Well done.
Note: I received this book complimentary in a giveaway. I was not required to give a review. All of the opinions I have expressed here are honest and my own.
Heart pounding suspense. I was immersed into the drama from the opening sentence. The twists and turns kept me turning the pages. I read this novel in one sitting.
Recommend to readers who enjoy clean, romantic suspense.
I borrowed a copy from my local library. All views expressed are my honest opinion.
Book two in the series, I love how Blackstock reminds the reader what happened in the first book without rehashing the whole thing at once (a pet peeve of mine).
This book was a bit harder to read. The subplot is sickening, not because of how Blackstock writes it but by its very nature (child molestation). Blackstock actually handles it well, but my heart breaks with Casey and it’s still hard to read.
Kind of the flip side of that coin is the Christian content. Blackstock doesn’t hold back. There’s no doubt what she believes and she believes faith and God can impact a person’s life. If you don’t like Christian themes, you won’t like this book. If you do, she handles it beautifully.
Overall, it felt like it took longer to get into the meat of the story, but once it got going it was hard to put the book down. Now I can’t wait to find out how the series ends. Next time I’m in the mood for a suspense novel, I’ll definitely go back to Blackstock.
Rated PG/PG-13 for thematic elements.
This book series is excellent.
I really enjoyed the continuation of this series. Dylan and Casey are such interesting characters, with them both having ptsd. It was interesting reading about that as well as the main mystery of the story. I also find Casey’s involvement in other people’s lives super interesting as well. The bits of insight we get on Keegan adds another fine toon to the story as well.
Great series
I love this whole series. Would highly recommend them
i never miss a terri blackstock book
Recommend the whole series. Great characters, unpredictable. Faith gets a person through things they thought they couldn’t survive if you just trust in God.
Absolutely fabulous sequel to “If I Run!” Try to read all three books in the series together because you WILL want to know what happens next! These books are wonderfully gripping, engaging, and inspirational. Best books I’ve read in a very long time!
After reading the first book in this series, I bought this second one right away. This is very well written, realistic, and makes you want to continue and not put it down. There is nothing thrown in to lengthen the book. Everything follows in a logical way, continuing the plot in a realistic way. Great characters! I highly recommend this series.
Just as good as the first! If I’m Found picks up right where If I Run leaves off and keeps right on going. Definitely another page turner!
I loved this next part to the If I Run series by Terri Blackstock. I am not normally a fan of books where there is not a solid resolution to the main character’s story before the book ends, but I am loving this trilogy. Instead of feeling like I’m left hanging in a bad way at, I’m simply left wanting t more. I can’t wait to read the conclusion of this trilogy.
