What the readers are saying…
“Barbara Freethy delivers stories that supply variety and suspense that keeps her readers from getting too comfortable and her stories from being redundant. If I Didn’t Know Better has adventure, mystery and at the center of it all is family. This is a story of healing that brings hope, family and emotion along for the ride.” Isha – Goodreads
“Another great read in this series! A true Callaway Series has all the fundamental of a great book. Humour, suspense, tenderness and romance. Loved all of it.” Mary – Goodreads
“What better way to continue the Callaway saga than to also include our beloved Angels Bay. What better place for three souls to heal in the place where angels make miracles happen. Mia and Jeremy’s story is fantastic. Suspenseful and yet romantic. You will definitely fall in love with the characters as well as the story.” Mommymoose
“A story of love full of tenderness and understanding and the meeting of souls and hearts that need to be together. 5 Stars!” Cinthia – Goodreads

This was an quick and entertaining read i really enjoyed it.
To me it was a very abrupt ending and unanswered questions.
Now this is my kind of book. Good summer read set at the shore. Quite entertaining. Easy, relaxing read. Good job, author.
It’s interesting how some writers can show romance without a lot of anatomical detail that goes on for pages. Ms. Freethy is one of them.
Will read anything and everything by Barbara Freethy! Good characters, good storylines.
Enjoyed!
Unique plot. I only gave four stars because it would have been perfect g rated except for f bomb.
I read almost every book by this author because I Love Her Style and her stories. I would have liked to have found out what happened to the character Barton in the end and also the woman mentioned just a few times and I can’t remember her name I believe it was Carol who was angry and argumentative but her character didn’t go anywhere and would love to have seen or read about the back character or at least finished that story because it left you wondering if it was safe to be in that house with the anger of her lingering.
Great page turner book
Nice story and good character development.
Barbara Freethy. I need to say no more.
Not as good as some of her others
I enjoyed reading this book. It was a nice romance with no sex scenes. I was bothered by some things. spoiler Alert … Would an AA sponsor talk about an alcoholic’s problems? , would a cop talk about cases to just anybody when they don’t know who could have committed three crime?
And a counselor talk about a patient in front of a group of people? These details take me out of the story.
Great get-away book. Enjoyed the characters.
This was a good story and well written.
Mia and Jeremy’s story is great romantic suspense book. Ashlyn just adds to the mix.
Good book. Have read authors books before and was not surprised to enjoy the story.
Ok
very good
I really enjoyed this story. I could imagine this happening in a small town where i once lived! It showed good family ties and several story lines happening asndcoming together with yet a real surprise at the end!
Barbara Freethy is always good reading. Good characters; believable
