JAXMy life was simple… until Bo Brendon crashed into my lap. Shy girls aren’t my thing, yet somehow, she’s under my skin and in my head. It’s a f*cking nightmare. Yet it’s a nightmare I don’t want to give up.BOLIVIA (BO)Jax Marshall was an accident. A really sexy, smart, incredibly smooth, hot… accident. He’s the kind of guy you shouldn’t fall in love with, because he could crush you with … shouldn’t fall in love with, because he could crush you with barely any effort. Especially someone like me. Either it will be the best thing to ever happen to me, or it will be the disaster that leaves me in ruins.
I guess I’ll find out.

Bo just doesn’t know how to make her sister do her own dirty work. Now she’s on a vacation while pretending to be her sister so she can do her sisterly duty of dumping her sisters boyfriend. Jax knows that there’s something different with his girlfriend. Like when did she get a tattoo, and why isn’t she acting like herself. He’ll get to the bottom of this mystery.
Identical Disaster was one that has its hot and steamy moments along with its comical moments. Owens just has a way if mixing the romance with the comedy. I mean who can;t find the comedy in an aging musician strutting around in a Speedo?
You know your in for another interesting read from C M Owens when the book starts of with identical twins and one of them breaking up with the others boyfriend because her sister just can’t do it. Bo arrives to dump her sisters boyfriend and the fun begins. Starting with a holiday that she takes in her sisters place with Jax. Jax not knowing that he isn’t with Bora but instead her sister Bo thinks there may be some body snatchers involved. After a slight incident Bo need to move everyone to her house and the secret of her not being Bora is about to come undone. After having Jax’s mother call her a god digging whore, Bo enjoys the moment that his mum realises just exactly whose house she is at. When Bo and Bora’s dad arrives the fun begins. Jax finding out that Bo’s dad is on his mum’s cheat list that she made years ago isn’t helping. As things begin to not fit Jax starts to think he could be right about Bo being taken by a body snatcher. Things go from bad to worse for Bo pretending to be Bora and it doesn’t help that her father is edging things along and laughing at her the whole time. When Bo’s dad nearly blows her cover you will be in fits of laugher. When Jax accidentally discovers the truth he decides to play for a while without telling Bo. Bringing on big penises, saving the penguins. When Bo’s blood turns to lava and she feels fire licking her core things start to heat up. Once the secret is out the heat turns up and so does the humour with none of them coping with Bo’s dad walking around in speedos all the time. Both Bo and Jax start to wonder what is going to happen after they return home. Work commitments keep them apart for a week but when they meet up its explosive. Neither one of them wanting to say that what they have is more than fun. When Jax gives Ruby a tampon bouquet there relationship goes to a whole new level. Throw in a major twist that has Bo’s sister doing her own breakup which in turn causes major problems for Bo and Jax. Things get desperate for Jax so he asks Corbin what the rest of the boys did to win back their girls. Bo gets told tha love is a merry-go-round that leaves you dizzy and disoriented, that she needs to embrace the crazy and she’s starting to believe it. The twist and turns with the peguins, bouquets and body snatchers an awesome Five Star read from me.
I adore the Sterling Shore series. This is a book from the series, but it can easily be read as a stand alone. This is about Bo and Jax. Bo is sent by her twin sister to break up with Jax for her. One look at Jax, and she can’t go through with it. I think you will get where the book is going from there. The book has humor included. There is major drama. There are times where you want to smash both of their heads in. For those of us loving the series, we get to see some of our favorite characters from previous books as well. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger.
