Detective Kendall Halsrud returns in Iced Malice, another stay-up-all-night suspense thriller by the author of Relative Malice. In the midst of the worst winter in Eau Claire, Wisconsin since 1890, Detective Kendall Halsrud is investigating a case involving two murdered teenagers. Kendall soon realizes the teens’ murders appear eerily similar to the Fiancé Murder case from twelve years ago when … ago when three couples disappeared. A serial killer was suspected at the time but the bodies were never found.
Has the faceless killer returned, or does someone else have his own reason for killing couples?

I read this last week and can’t for the life of me now remember anything about the story or characters….. memorable?
Good fast read, too predictable at the end. I did enjoy it.
Love books set near home- Eau Claire, Wi makes nice backdrop to a police procedural that can stand on its own. Plan to read more in the Kendall series.
I know those people!
Great story.this book was hard to put down. Great cast of characters.
Would recomend
I wanted to keep reading to see what would happen next and see how the stories within the book would end. The characters were creative but realistic. The interaction between them was believable. The book was suspenseful and at one night when I was reading I actually had to put the book down and continue in the morning. I enjoyed reading this book.
OK not characters or plot not that great
I want to read other books in this series
Great characters. I want to read more of them
Really enjoyed this book. The story had interesting twists and turns.
Great book. Well defined characters. A very enjoyable read
It was ok, entertaining but not a page turner
Good read. Would recommend to others.
This book was NOT predictably! I loved that.
Good read
So confusing, the way the author introduces characters in this book is just so confusing, also bringing in random attempts to introduce background to them just adds to the confusion.
Couldn’t out it down. Missed the people when I was done. Bought all three
Connecting the cases seemed a little shallow, but otherwise good read.
I don’t like books that leave the characters without a ending so you don’t know what happens to the central characters . So that’s my problem with this book otherwise I enjoyed it very much. But wont be looking for another of this writers books because of the open ending . Don’t like to have to get another book to see what happens in the first book. That is why this book gets a four star not a five .
