The prologue gives a really good setup for the book and their relationship. The book itself is fantastic. I normally hate cliffhangers, but I cannot wait to get into the second book to find out what happens to Ice, Emma and the MC.
The storyline was different from any of the other MC books I’ve read and the way the book ended was unexpected and a really awesome twist. The characters were well developed and had strong personalities. As a reader you find yourself drawn into their lives and waiting to find out what happens to them next.

Oh I loved it! I was hooked from the backstory to the very last word. It is a very well written story with characters you will fall in love with. On to the second book
OMG I couldn’t put this down. LOVE LOVE LOVE this story. Can’t wait for the continuation.

Let me just say WOW!!!
Ice was an absolute badass book that took me by storm. This was definitely an MC novel that you will love. It’s hard, ruthless, and there’s danger at every corner.
Ice or Caden is the Knights of Silences’ President. He has a sad past that ultimately led him to this MC which not only changed, but saved his life. I have to say I really loved his backstory which Amy took her time explaining. This will make you seriously fall head over heels for Caden. Ice gets a blast from the past when suddenly Emma, his best friend growing up and the only woman he’s ever loved suddenly ends up at his front door begging for help finding her best friend.
Emma was raised to thing of the Knights as bad people and she holds some serious prejudice that most of the uppity people in their small town have. But Caden will only help her if she respects his family and his lifestyle. I loved that Emma had absolutely no knowledge about MC’s, not even terminology. Quite often she made herself look like a fool. This I felt was important because it helped her to learn what Caden and the men under him were all about. Yes it was hard for her to understand what it meant to be a Knight and ones loyalty to their President, but she tried. I loved that with her acceptance of the club, she was also accepting what she wanted and deciding what she didn’t want to live without.
With all happy moments it never lasts. The mystery surrounding the disappearance of Emma’s best friend is more dangerous and ominous than anyone expected. It seems to be linked to a enemy MC called the Rebels with a less than noble reputation. The more Ice digs, the more dangerous it becomes for him and Emma. Soon her life is on the line and he’ll do anything to protect her.
Caden is a great president with killer instincts. He always trusts his gut and his VP and SAA. They keep him levelheaded when it comes to Emma and are quite smart and strategic themselves. I loved Caden and Emma together. I also liked that he was a different person when they were alone, but still put her in her place when it came to club business. He didn’t let things slide with her and made it clear that if she couldn’t accept him and his way of life she could hit the door. This book has some darkness lurking under the surface and has twists at every turn. I was absolutely hooked to this story till the very end and then screamed in frustration when it was all over because that ending was friggin crazy. Amy is a very tricky and devious woman for that ending, but I loved it all the same.
I highly recommend this book especially if you are fans of T.M. Frazier and M.N. Forgy’s MC novels.
Caden and Emma have been together since she was born. They were neighbors and spent almost if not all their time together. Then when Caden turns 16 his father decides he needs to think of his future and tells him he;ll be working for him. Then at the holidays Caden;s parents are killed and at 24 he is the guardian of his 11/12 year old sister. Then he needs a job and finds one in a garage where the owner becomes like a second father to him. After saving an old lady of one of the MC;s members, he and his sister are taken under the old ladies;s wings. Then he patches in. Eleven years later he sees Emma and she needs his help. When he discovers the rival MC is involved his gut tells him to get involved.
Plenty of action and alot emotional as the reader is pulled into the emotional turmoil that is Emma and Caden.
Fantastic story and read!!

Emma, a young girl who is Caden’s neighbor. They are inseparable while Emma is young and growing up. Caden’s father tries to discourage their friendship and tells Caden that his feelings will change and their friendship will be different as Emma gets older, but he doesn’t understand yet.
More than their feelings for each other change. With Caden’s sudden need to provide for his sister, he has to look for a job.
Caden and Emma’s lives will come back together and their relationship as adults will be different than it was as kids. They’re no longer kids and there is now danger lurking around that can destroy them.I liked this book. I’m now waiting for the second one to come out s that I can find out how their lives will be. This story has some twists and suspense and the ending leaves you hoping that the next book will be along soon so that you can find out what’s going to happen. I give this story a 3.5 star review and look forward to the other book(s) in the series to be out.
This is my first book by Amy and I have to tell you I absolutely loved it. Hot, hot, hot, action, adventure and beautiful story line. I was rooting for Caden & Emma the entire time. But then again I loved every character in this book. There is a cliffhanger and thank God I already had booked two ready to go. This is the first time I’ve listen to narrations by Mark and Maya Bravo and they did amazing!

Terrific Story & Narration Captivating!
ICE
Series: Knights of Silence MC Series, Book 1
By: Amy Cecil
Narrated by: Mark Bravo, Maya Bravo
This is a fantastic book and beginning to a new series. I enjoyed Amy Cecil’s writing style and the interesting storylines and characters she created. The story had a natural flow to it and it grabbed my attention right from the start and held it straight to the end. The characters are realistic and easy to relate to. I adored the two lead characters Caden “Ice” Jackson and Emma Baylee, they have history but an event in Caden’s life took him away from her and they went on different paths. We get insight of Caden’s path into the Knights of Silence MC. Emma and Caden never kept in touch but years later she seeks him out asking him to help find her friend Brianne. Caden helps her, has her stay at the Club for her protection. The two realize they still harbor feelings for each other but she is engaged and knows nothing of club life or fitting into it. I loved how everything plays out in this book, there is never a dull moment and it is greatly plotted with plenty of drama, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt moments, some angst and a mind blowing twist which leaves you hanging on a cliff. Amy Cecil, thank you for this great MC romance and emotional rollercoaster ride.
I listened to the Audible edition, Mark Bravo and Maya Bravo are terrific narrators and voice artists. They did a great job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them giving each their own voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to their work. Thank you for another awesome listen

I feel that Mark Bravo really brought the characters to life as I saw them in my head. I think that Maya Bravo probably did too, but I just didn’t bond with Emma whatsoever so I didn’t appreciate the narration quite as much.
The story is decent and I love Ice’s character, but Emma just rubbed me the wrong way from the start. I liked how and where the story was set and all the twists and turns but couldn’t get past Emma. And don’t get me started on where it was left at the end….
This is the first book in the Knights of Silence MC Series. This is a great introduction to this Series. Caden and Emma’s story is captivating, intriguing, suspenseful, and action packed. They are opposites attract. Caden is an alpha man, older, protective, caring, and possessive. Emma is a lovely young woman, a little naive. The story ends with a big cliffhanger, and now I need the second book in the Series! Maya Bravo and Mark Bravo are new narrators to me. Their voices are great together. They did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it.
Childhood loves are always hard to forget and in this book we see just how strong it can be. These two characters are amazing with the strength and loyalty that they show each other. I loved listening to this book but will give you fair warning that there is a cliffhanger. I really hope the next comes out soon!
ICE
Knights of Silence MC, Book 1
By: Amy Cecil
Narrated by: Mark Bravo, Maya Bravo
Amy Cecil was a new author to me when I listened to Ripper and I fell in love with her writing. When I saw this book, I jumped to the chance to listen. Romance, intrigue, suspense, childhood romance, all the things I love and she wraps it all into a motorcycle club story! Caden and Emma grew up together. Though an age difference and class difference, these two had a connection that couldn’t be broken. Now years later, Emma finds herself in need of Caden’s help only to find the connection still strong and there is danger lurking. Are they soulmates? Will Emma find her life in an MC? I love childhood loves coming back together. The history is always integral to their lives despite their current situation. Caden is the ultimate alpha male, protector and strong, his life has taken a turn that was not the path we thought he would take. I love his personality, and his loyalty. He loves with his whole heart. Emma is young at times, but finds her strength with Caden. Now the twist at the end left me just wanting more and Amy better be releasing book two soon!
The narration was amazing. I have never heard Mark and Maya Bravo befire snd thrur voiced hit the characters perfectly. Mark is string and powerful with his narration. Maya has a youthful voice and makes Emma naive in the beginning. She lets us hear Emma evolve as they story progresses. I really enjoyed their performance.

ICE by Amy Cecil is a motorcycle club romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Mark Bravo and Maya Bravo. This is book one in the Knights of Silence MC Series and does end on a cliffhanger.
This is the second book of Amy’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I cannot wait to dive into Ice on Fire to find out what happens next.
Mark and Maya did a great job on the narration. I can’t wait to listen to more of their projects in the future.
Wow! A terrific story. I loved how the story introduced us to Caden and Emma with their early years, showing how strong their relationship had developed.
As time had passed, Caden joins an MC, his road name becomes Ice and eventually he becomes the mighty President. But he never forgot his childhood friend Emma, he was in love with her and it wasn’t right, she was too young, he thinks of her occasionally but would never ask her to the club….until she finds him herself and asks for help to find her friend.
This a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat and with it’s surprise twists and turns you never know what to expect next. A really exciting read and I’m jonesing for the next exciting instalment, I can’t wait!
Why yes I did…I called the author all sorts of really mean names when I got to the end of this one…it leaves you hanging on by the very tips of your fingers! Fortunately, the next book is already released so this instant gratification girl hopped right into book 2.
It was a little slow out of the gate for me, but the backstory needed to be told to fully appreciate the heart warming second chance. However, once we got into the edge of your seat action, this is a page turner for sure. Cade, hard on the outside, but fair and disciplined, is loyal to his family and his club. He absolutely stole my heart.
OK, I can’t wait, I’m off to Ice on Fire…I have to know!
This story pulls you in from the very beginning. Ice is fast paced and entertaining and will keep you guessing what will happen next as the storyline takes us on a roller coaster ride filled with twists and unexpected turns. The cliffhanger ending will leave you screaming for more. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
I just finished reading about Caden and Emma..I gotta tell you you I loved their story. They have known each other their whole life..Caden was Emmas knight. But people grow up and things change.. A little girls knight grew into a MC President.. I won’t put any spoilers in this review but I will tell you that yes it’s a really good read and now I have to read the next book..
AMAZING…It was so good that I could not put it down..Can’t wait for the next one
This was a great start to the series. I found him to be an interesting and intriguing alpha male. He hasn’t always made the best decisions but has strived to do so as he has gotten older. I thought the MC aspect was well written. I also liked the relationship between Emma and Ice. I felt sorry for the young woman who has been his main squeeze up to this point. I hope she gets a good ending. I enjoyed reading this book.
