Congratulations!” Next Generation Indie Book Awards The debut bestseller that has sold more than 400,000 Kindle and paperback versions! ICE! Archaeologist Leah Andrews stumbles upon something inexplicable in southwestern New Mexico: inside a dark … southwestern New Mexico: inside a dark cavern lies an undiscovered, Native American cliff dwelling abandoned for 800 years. While twisting through one of the narrow underground passageways, Leah’s flashlight illuminates the remains of a violent massacre.
Ancient human remains—all slaughtered in a long-ago massacre—cover the cavern floor, along with several brilliantly colored, granite crystals. The rare gems are native to only one place on earth: a frozen mountain range in central Antarctica.
Could Native Americans have traveled to the frozen continent of Antarctica 800 years before the first known human exploration? If so, how? And why?
There’s only one person who can get Leah to those mountains in Antarctica: her estranged husband and climbing guide Jack Hobson.
At their destination, they make a stunning discovery that will change history and science forever. But Leah’s team is far from the only interested party.
As her secret makes its way to the highest levels of government, a race to seize the Russian-claimed Antarctic territory brings the world to the brink of nuclear conflict.

This is the type of book I love to read. I will read this type of book in one day.
Definitely not a predictable read. Loved how the story pulled you in and I didn’t want to put it down.
Well written. Couldn’t wait to start the next book in the series. Where is number three?
An engrossing tale with some surprises.z
Loved it, hard to put it down! A must reread!
Enjoyed the book a lot.
Interesting. Something very different. Not the usual.
This is an exceptional read–not usually my genre. The story was unique and scary yet always hopeful toward a good ending. The only reason I almost gave it a 2 rating is it ended as a cliffhanger and I hate not having my stories tidied up nice and clean. Being forced to buy the next book to find the ending of the story irritates me to no end and although I bought the next book, it ended the same way and the 3rd book in the trilogy is not even written yet!
Thought provoking
slow in beginning then it picked up and I did not want to put it down
Loved it
The author built on his knowledge of mountainous terrains and ice climbing to produce a realistic, action-packed intrigue involving governmental rivalries and historical facts. The characters were believable and the writing style had this reader hoping for great outcomes as in the “Indiana Jones” style of story telling.
Original subject, heroine too naive about consequences, fortunate to have others to rescue her. Entertaining read.
Lots of action from looking for ancient cliff dwellers to climbing Mount Everest and on to Antarctica the pace doesn’t slow down. Lots of good guys trying to outrun the bad guys.
Good read
never read a better book. page turner. could quite possibly happen. Most people wouldnt think so, but I do. Thank you for a wonderful read !!!
I enjoyed reading most of this book. Very easy reading and kinda a page turner but I didn’t like the ending. (Without giving too much away) the baddies became the goodies within two short chapters and poof it was the end. That’s the part of the book I did not like.
loved it
Fun read, creative premise. Informative background information. Learned a lot about several interesting topics. Good character development.
Plot twists galore. Constant action, keeps you engaged.
Some of the descriptions were a little hard to imagine, but overall a decent read.
