We are writing with some fabulous news! ICE has been named the Winner in the ACTION/ADVENTURE category of the 2016 Next Generation Indie Book Awards. Congratulations!” Next Generation Indie Book Awards The debut bestseller that has sold more than 400,000 Kindle and paperback versions! ICE! Archaeologist Leah Andrews stumbles upon something inexplicable in southwestern New Mexico: inside a dark … southwestern New Mexico: inside a dark cavern lies an undiscovered, Native American cliff dwelling abandoned for 800 years. While twisting through one of the narrow underground passageways, Leah’s flashlight illuminates the remains of a violent massacre.
Ancient human remains—all slaughtered in a long-ago massacre—cover the cavern floor, along with several brilliantly colored, granite crystals. The rare gems are native to only one place on earth: a frozen mountain range in central Antarctica.
Could Native Americans have traveled to the frozen continent of Antarctica 800 years before the first known human exploration? If so, how? And why?
There’s only one person who can get Leah to those mountains in Antarctica: her estranged husband and climbing guide Jack Hobson.
At their destination, they make a stunning discovery that will change history and science forever. But Leah’s team is far from the only interested party.
As her secret makes its way to the highest levels of government, a race to seize the Russian-claimed Antarctic territory brings the world to the brink of nuclear conflict.

Ice is a fantastic mystery read! It has suspense, intrigue, betrayal and mystery! Follow Dr. Leah Andrews and Jack Hobson solve an 800 year old mystery, fight big government and finally realize what’s really important! An 800 year old mystery, alien influence, navy seals.
This is a fascinating book, one of the few I plan to read again. I am eagerly awaiting the sequel. Ice starts with a short tale of an ancient people, then continues with the discovery of a previously unknown Pueblo in New Mexico. Artifacts lead the archeological team to Antarctica – and lots of ice. If you enjoy tales of archeology and adventure, I think you will like this one.
Ice by author Kevin Tinto grabbed my interest from the very start! I’ve spent hours sitting on a cliff ledge looking across the ravines and wondering what happened to the people who had once lived in those dwellings. So, I am excited to find a new author who writes with anthropological knowledge and a vivid sense of adventure.
We start in the prehistoric past with a young girl who is with her mother and they are very afraid; trouble is coming for their people! As this scene fades, we are in current times. Everest guide Jack Hobson has the reader engrossed in the final ascent onto Everest with his client.
We travel with Dr. Leah Day and her team in New Mexico who is determined to find answers to her questions about the Mogollon and Anasazi people who may have shared the same cliff dwellings, although at differing times. She finds a clue which could change the believed history of the travels of some of the Ancient Ones.
Now the book really gets interesting when you add in political conflicts, governmental secrets, and the unbelievable find on an ill-fated trip to the Antarctic. A lot of different events happen during the book and it all is so interesting! Who has the power to control another humans life at the possible gain of scientific and historical knowledge?
** The book needs another edit due to some grammatical errors. The errors did not affect the wonderful plot of the story, but professionally speaking, edits are needed.
Read all three books. Found them fascinating. Waiting anxiously
for the fourth book!

A thriller in the style of Douglas Preston. This one kept me up until 2am, going through twist after twist. Can not wait for the next in the series.
