When you’re crushing on a vamp, who happens to be a tramp, it’s time to practice safe hex. When the Rogue Magic Control Agency is tasked with security for a secret meeting between the Midwest’s vampire king and the Baba Yaga, witch Drag Jones is bummed that the mission is so boring. Walk the perimeter. Make sure there are no traps. Don’t stake any bloodsuckers. Blah. Blah. Blah.Turns out, vampires … Blah. Blah.
Turns out, vampires are sneakier than she could have ever guessed, and their powers don’t register on her magic-sensing radar. And one, in particular, a gorgeous smart-ass named Baz, has her rethinking celibacy. She can’t decide if she wants to stake him or kiss him. Given the right motivation, she might do both.
Vampire Baz Delgados is ninth in line to the Ravenblood throne, and head of security for the king, his older brother. When Baz first spots the pink-haired cutie in combat boots, he can’t take his eyes off her. Something about the beautiful witch sings to his undead soul.
Unfortunately, an ancient enemy threatens not only the burgeoning new alliance between vampires and witches but also the lives of everyone Baz and Drag love. They must work together to fight this new evil, or they’ll lose everything … including each other.

I Want Your Hex is a great addition to the Hex Drive series. Drag and Time Bomb find themselves as security for Baba Yaga and vampires. Important vampires. A vampire king an his family, in fact. It starts out as a boring mission that Drag is not happy that she’s a part of, but it doesn’t stay boring for long! Kidnappings? Check! Vampires who meet their true death? Check! Finding out that she’s more than she ever knew she was? Check! Meeting a hot vampire? Check! Wait!! What’s up with that last one? Drag she doesn’t even particularly like vampires, never mind want to jump on one. What’s a witch to do when life throws her curve balls? You’ll have to read the book to find out, silly! Renee George hits that curve ball out of the park with this book!!
Drag Jones aka Angharad Jones and her partner and bff Time Bomb are on a security watch for a Vampire King who has come to sign a Peace Treaty with the Witches. They have been waiting they don’t know for what but Time Bomb smells mushrooms before they know it someone is speaking but they do not see anyone but then the vampire appears right beside the car. Baz Delgados Ravenblood an emmissary for the King and one of the airs to the Vampire kingdom. Their is an attraction that cannot be denied between Baz and Drag they both realize they care about each other when they are caught up in a cave designed to kill Vampires but she is part human. That is just one of the mishaps they run into, they figure out some old crazy vampire cult had help setting up the trap they are in and they have to find a way out to help Drag and the others. Short story line that is good, characters are intriguing.
I was given an Advance Reader Copy as a gift from author without obligation. I am providing an honest review.
Drag and Baz seem like an odd mix, witches and vampires generally don’t get along. Throw in mis-firing spells, cave traps, evil necromancers, and how can a red blooded witch help falling in love. This book has plenty of twists and turns and will have you laughing out loud.
Drag comes face to faces with centuries old vampire enemies, as well as her own truest nature and her heart.
Snark, courage and serious buttkicking action!
You know when you enter into one of this author’s novels, her world will take you on adventure you will not soon forget. When you enter this universe you will receive humor as just one of the many things along with the characters-Drag and Baz with their story you will not find anywhere close. Drag does get tested but will she give the right answers. This is not all fun and games it is rounded in reading and also has drama to fuel the senses. This one is a rollercoaster of yummy with when it ends will you be left standing?
When Drag goes with her team to scout out a private location for a meeting between the Vampire king and the Baba Yaga, she had no idea the danger she would face…from both outside forces and the vampire she can’t seem to ignore.
I love the Magic & Mayhem Universe. This is Renee George’s 3rd book in both her Hex Drive series, and the M&M universe. It’s cute and funny and a bit steamy. Drag and her vampure, Baz, are terrific together. I enjoyed this book very much.
I received a copy of this book from the author via Prolific Works. My thoughts and opinions are my own and without bias.
I’ll start by saying there is never a spoiler in my reviews! Renee continues to give us spectacularly written, completely entertaining books and this one is no exception. The absolute best part is that these books can be read in any order, there is never a cliffhanger, and the books are just plain FUN! Steam for those who love a little action, plenty of other action in the book too! All the requisite characters are here, those you love to love and love to hate. You will have more than one laugh out loud moment with this book, and if you haven’t read others by this author, or for that matter in the Magic and Mayhem series, this book will make you a believer and you WILL go back and get the others. All in all, a relatively short read, with snarkiness galore and served up with a good helping of mystery! I received an ARC of this book and am providing my honest opinion! ONE CLICK now!
The Rogue Magic Control Agency must patrol the area to keep to make sure the area is secure for a secret meeting between the Midwest’s vampire king and the Baba Yaga the most powerful witch about making peace between the two groups. Drag Jones and her friend Time Bomb are tasked with this job when Baz Delgados, 9 in line to the Vampire kingdom throne pops up out of the dark. Now you have two very snarky characters at each other in a love/hate type relationship. But because of Dag’s type of magic, (she can feel everyone’s magic around her), it makes it too difficult for her to have a relationship. So when Baz shows a huge interest in the pretty witch, she has to stay her distance. But can she do that when she feels an attraction? She must. When an evil group who want to take over the world, the Sabbatianoi, long thought to be gone, reappear and threaten the alliance between the Vampire King and the Witch Kingdom., Baz and Drag must fight this evil together and the vampires must join forces to fight. With a lot of twists and turns and death and near death and realizations, this book 3 moves along like a fast paced roller coaster! A great addition to the Magic and Mayhem Universe. I can’t wait to see what will happen next in this series. I received an ARC from the author but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
This was a great book !
Drag was just doing her job, a very boring job, but still her job nevertheless.
Then, you have Baz drop in out of blue.
Now, Drag will have to make sure that he is not going to cause any problems.
Regardless of the sparks flying between them!
Isn’t that fun ?
When the alliance between Witches and Vampires, Drag + Baz will have to join forces.
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Baz and Drag are seriously interesting and funny in this book. Pleasantly surprised by their interactions and the connection these characters share.
The book is not a comedic effort but more of the make you smile as you read about the things that go bump in the night or should I say undead biting and sparkler finger actions.
Ms. George’s books are always full of fun, snarky characters, and just right adventures for our reading entertainment.
Read and reviewed to spark old and new interest in this series with no obligation to the author.
Drag is in for a hot surprise when her boring mission turns steamy! A vampire–that’s right, vampire–shakes things up when he shows up to head the team guarding his brother, the king, during a peace treaty meeting with the witches.
Why can’t Drag sense him and his power? And why does he well, get to her? She doesn’t have guys (or gals) for a very good reason. Will working with Baz change all that when they have to work together to save each other from an unknown enemy.
Fun banter. Plenty of steam. Surprises galore. Really bad enemies. And just an overall fun read. I love the Magic and Mayhem Universe with Ms. George and friends. If this is your first or one of many you are sure to love it as well.
I Want Your Hex is a fun addition to the Magic and Mayhem Universe. Drag Jones is a witch with an awful gift/curse that allows her to sense magic in everyone/everything which makes it hard to be around anyone. That is until she runs across vampire Baz Delgados who doesn’t set off her senses. Baz and Drag are fun, sweet and sexy. I really enjoyed their story.
Fun, short, easy read!
Combat boots and pink hair make Drag my kinda heroine. As is, Baz (Adonis) in a kinda sexy vampire way. Together they are orgasmic.
This book was funny, heartwarming, while peppered with action and great characters.
I will definitely be reading the rest of this series and anything else Renee George writes. She is on my list of go-to authors and she hasn’t let me down.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes vampires, witches, humor, and love.
I had so much fun reading this! Drag is an unusual character and has a great and a little warped sense of humor. It’s a fast read, so you don’t have to wait forever to find out how things work out. I totally enjoyed it!
This was a cute mystery with a stunning royal vamp and a sassy witch. I enjoyed Baz and Drag. Drag had enough sass for the entire team and Baz had a lovable cockiness. The mystery was unique as was Drag with her powers and the way she handled her relationships. The story was easy to read and kept me entertained. While this was a stand alone, for the best enjoyment you should read the previous Hex books.
Fun addition to the series. It is full of magic and adventure and romance that combine together to make an entertaining read.
Another enjoyable and entertaining read from the Magic/and Mayhem universe. This fast-paced is filled with plenty of twists and turns some laugh out loud moments. It also has everything you need for a great read so looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
Another hilarious story in the Magic and Mayhem series. Well worth reading!
A great fun edition for the magic and mayhem universe! It’s better to read them in order, however if you don’t you still catch on quickly. This is a fast paced story with some crazy twists and turns. I love it and recommend anyone over 17 into the witchy genre to read it and all of the magic and mayhem that goes with it.
