FROM THE AUTHOR OF THE HIT ROMCOM LET’S GET TEXTUAL, COMES AN ALL-NEW STANDALONE ROMCOM…When I put up a ROOMMATE WANTED poster, he was the last person on earth I thought would respond. He was also the last person on earth I’d agree to let live with me…on purpose. But, here we are—roommates. I’m certain we can coexist without it being awkward, and I’m determined to make it work. There will be no … I’m determined to make it work. There will be no sexual tension building with each accidental touch, no flutters when he wears that stupid backward baseball cap, and definitely no flirting when we text back and forth.
Caleb Mills can’t be the guy for me. He’s my best friend’s ex-boyfriend.
And that would be wrong…right?
“I loved everything about this book. It was sweet, LOL funny, and Caleb and Zoe have chemistry that is off the charts hot. I’m giving this one 10 million “Edward Cullen” sparkly stars!” –Tara Sivec, USA TODAY Bestselling Author
I Wanna Text You Up is a full-length standalone romcom with a HEA.

She had me at the Roommate Wanted Sign. I was immediately engrossed in this story. I loved the surprise of who it was an definitely didn’t see it coming thought I probably should of. Zoe and Caleb are both intense and passionate characters. The attraction through out the book . The text message made me laugh and get excited and I became more and more sucked into the story at every page. Both books in this series makes you crave for more. Cannot wait to see what Teagan writes next!
“I wanna Text You Up” is a quick, fun, sexy, romantic and very enjoyable read that will keep you entertained and leave you with a smile on your face.
Becoming roomies might not have been the best idea…
Zoe & Caleb are so cute – once their schedules finally let them be together. Their flirty busines is seriously hampered by their time apart. Zoe is worried about going any further with Caleb because he used to date her best friend. Once that hurdle is out of Zoe’s way she just has to break down those mysterious walls Caleb has up and they’ll be free. Easier said than done.
This book was so good!! I loved the first one and I didn’t think it got any better than goats until mittens!!
Caleb is looking for a new place to live and Zoe is out of a room mate since her best friend Delia moved in with her new boyfriend Zack.
Zoe puts a flyer out and gets a bunch of fun emails from a mysterious man who is looking for a cheaper place to live. They finally agree to meet and it’s none other than Caleb Delia’s ex boyfriend.
Zoe not sure how she can let Delia’s ex live with her requires Delia’s blessing. This story was so cute. A blooming friendship and possibly more can Zoe fall for her best friends ex? Can they make it work? Caleb is very mysterious and she needs to know why he always disappears on Sundays and more about his home life. Caleb likes to keep his life and his family separate.
I loved the dynamic between these two. Zoe is very much like Zack and a free spirited artist who knows how to focus on school and still have fun in life. With her love of rap and beats and breakfast a must read!!!
I Wanna Text You Up – another cute read!
I Wanna Text You Up was another cute, fun, quick read by Teagan Hunter. Following the HEA from Let’s Get Textual, Delia decides to move in with Zach. This now leaves Zoe without a roommate. She posts an ad and she is surprised when she discovers that the person she is considering accepting to room with her, is Delia’s ex! Caleb is in desperate need of a new living arrangement. When the 2 meet and discover who they were considering rooming with, Zoe has reservations. He’s her best friend’s ex! And Zoe always crushed on him (in silence), and she doesn’t know if she can live with him without him finding out. Of course Caleb moves in and brings his kitten Mittens! As the 2 spend time together and of course communicate via texts, the lines start to blur, and Zoe starts to feel guilty because Caleb is Zoe’s ex. The journey of dealing with the mixed feelings to realize the right person for them is each other, is done so well. We feel for Zoe while feeling her conflicting emotions through to their HEA.
This was another fun, quick read and I am looking forward to Teagan Hunter’s next Texting book!
I loved Let’s Get Textual but I loved this one even more. I absolutely loved Zoe and Caleb and was totally absorbed in their story. A total page turner that I couldn’t put down. I hated it to end! A must read!
Zoe needs a roommate. Caleb needs a place to live. No big deal… Except he’s her best friend Delia’s ex. Texts are exchanged, of course, and sparks fly! I loved this as the follow up to Let’s Get Textual and can’t wait for more of the series!
Loved this 2nd book in the series. The banter between Zoe and Caleb was hilarious and entertaining.
Much like the first it is full of sass and comic relief. I laughed just as hard at this book as the first. Probably even more, if that is possible. This story focus on Zoe and Caleb. I didn’t know what to expect from the second book but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved it. I also have another favorite author because of this series. This series is so awesome, the books are a quick read and so much fun. I think that my neighborhood heard me laughing. Zoe is sassy like Delia was in the first book. It’s awesome how much they are alike. Caleb is still an amazing nice guy from the first book but you learn so much more about him. The characters are relatable and I feel like I would want them all to be my friends, except for one, you know who you are! Yes I’m still mad at you from the first book, lol. If you haven’t yet began this journey, you better get on it. Nothing good comes from missing out on things that could possibly make you laugh until you almost pee.
Original review: https://myshelfbooks.wordpress.com/2019/01/04/i-wanna-text-you-up-teagan-hunter/
First book of the year!! Actually, my intention was for this one to be last of the past year, but life sometimes doesn’t want to follow my plans. I’m not going to lie. This is an awesome book to start a new year. Teagan Hunter doesn’t disappoint, even though I haven’t loved it as much as the first book of this saga.
This time the story focuses on Delia’s roomante, Zoe. Due to the fact that her best friend is moving out to live with Zach (who wouldn’t!!!), she is in need of a new roommate. So she has the happy idea to create a notice to pin it in a common board. You know, the one that you can touch… not the virtual copy that is used nowadays. And who is behind the perfect answer for the notice? No other than Delia’s ex-boyfriend: Caleb. They start flirting right away, but the relationship has two obstacles: Zoe’s fear of angering her best friend and Caleb’s mysterious past.
I have read this whole book with a huge smile from ear to ear. I love the easiness among the characters and all the witty banter. It makes them so much more lovable and approachable. Not to mention all the good laughs I have had following these crazy characters. I guess it lacks more of the surreal sense of humor of Zach and Delia (although there is good dosis of it) and it lays more heavily in the sexual innuendos. Luckily, Teagan is master at those and that kind of exchanges doesn’t make me cringe.
The author’s style makes me so comfortable reading the book. I find myself feeling extra-good and happy when I enter in the Text universe. That atmosphere helps a lot to fell in love with the characters. Especially Caleb. He is so dreamy. Aside from the obvious (Zoe killed me everytime she commented on the abdominal muscles… cruel woman!!), the guy can cook. And I mean really cook. He is also very attentive most of the time, responsible, a good listener and SO charming. I was on my toes dreading the other shoe dropping. That moment where the author would reveal some dark secret about the perfect guy that would break Zoe’s heart (I was more concerned about mine, though)… But in the end, his secret wasn’t that bad.
And maybe it’s in that part were the book feels a bit short. I missed more drama or a better developed one. Part of the issue is trying to make us believe that Delia would be pissed if Zoe dates Caleb. I mean, we have already met that girl. Zoe could have an orgy with all her best friend’s former lovers and Delia wouldn’t bat an eye. In my opinion, those doubts of Zoe should have been resolved sooner. The mysterious past of Caleb is also not such a big deal. I was expecting something that would put the relationship in danger and that would blemish Caleb’s perfect record (and give my heart a rest!!), but in the end his past is not really the issue.
There are still two more books on the Text saga. Two more books to enjoy these crazy and fun characters. I’m going to miss them once it is over. I will have to try other books by Teagan Hunter to see if I will find the same magic. By the way, I’m glad that these books have finally been grouped in a saga of stand-alone books. It helps a lot to read them in order.
It had been so long since I read Delia and Zach’s book that I kind of forgot about Caleb and Zoe. Jumping into this book though, it all came tumbling back! I LOVED Zoe in the last book, and I’m really excited to see she hasn’t lost her sass!! And Caleb, I still need to re-read, but I think it’s pretty funny that he ended up with Zoe.
From the very beginning the banter between the two in the emails was HYSTERICAL! THIS is why I love these books. I desperately needed a laugh and man did I get them! Their banter and flirting, all of it was so great. The amount of whit that these two use really is what took this book to another level! Apart from the whit and the banter, the constant flirting between these two was hot! I love how they would call each out on it too. The ease between them was just adorable, it’s almost like they were an old married couple.
The way these two connected I think was so special. I love that they got to be such good friends while being roommates before they took their relationship to any sort of other level. They were just too damn cute! The little kisses here and there and the innuendos. It was adorable! I kind of want to go back and read the other book and read these all over again <3
Wow! I’m loving this series! Hunter does an amazing job of bringing humor and romance to each book and in completely unique ways. I was so glad to see that this book follow two of my favorite characters from the first book, Zoe and Caleb.
Zoe–is outspoken, artsy and hilarious! Zoe is a carefree, hook up kind of girl until she starts to see Caleb, her bestie’s ex-boyfriend, in a different light add in the fact that he just became her roommate and you know there is going to be some romance ahead.
Caleb–is a star athlete but a good guy with a troubled past that keeps coming back to haunt him. Rooming with Zoe was just supposed to be a way to save money however he finds himself drawn to her more and more.
With Caleb’s secrets and Zoe’s fears can they make a relationship work?
Where do I start, Caleb and Zoe
Zoe sends out an ad for a new roommate she never thought it would turn out to be her best friends ex.There schedules are so hectic at first that they don’t see each other often at the beginning. As time passes and they flirt text and boy do they ever lol. Feelings start developing and there have to decide if it will be something more or if they will just be friends.
I loved the banter between the two of them, I was often laughing out load at the two of them.
I love Teagan’s style of writing she makes it hard to close the book you want to know what is going to happen next.
A must read for sure:)
Omg I loved this book. Teagan Hunter knows how to make her readers laugh. Zoe and Caleb are what a relationship should be like .#relationshipgoals. I loved everything about this book , the laughs , the ups and downs , and so much more .
Reading the first book in this series isn’t needed, but it does make this book a little more fun having the background information. Zoe and Caleb have known each other for awhile. He dated her best friend. Can they work as roommates? Can they handle the growing attraction between them? And will the past catch up and get between them?
Another funny and easy read from Teagan Hunter. I loved the laid back relationship that Zoe and Caleb had. There was no angst. It was just a wonderful love story between the 2. They banter the 2 had going between each other was hilarious. They had me cracking up but at times I had to reread because I was getting confused on who was saying what. But I can’t wait to read the next one!
I Wanna Text You Up, had such a different feel to it. That it was truly two different characters and their story.
Zoe who is Delia’s best friend has to look for a roommate because Delia is totally ditching her. I didn’t expect Caleb to be the next roommate. It was fun watching their relationship blossom and getting to know each of them on a deeper level. I honestly think that Caleb knew way ahead of time that he would fall for Zoe. Can I mention how amazing Delia is, she’s like seriously one of the best characters ever. I know I said that in the last book review, most likely but it’s true. You don’t see many characters like her. I love it.
Zoe and Caleb had more of a serious vibe. Obviously, they have very different personalities. But I did love both of them. I read their story, in just one sitting. I couldn’t get enough. Before Let’s get textual I had never ever read anything by Teagan Hunter. Honestly, with these two books, I’ve read. I think she’s fantastic and I’m a huge fan now. Her writing style and how she gives these characters their own voices. It’s truly astounding.
This series is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I can’t wait for the next book in October. I seriously hate waiting, but I will do my best.
Overall, Five Boundless Stars.
********* AUDIOBOOK REVIEW *********
I love to comment on covers, especially when they’re amazing! I love the cover for “I Wanna Text You Up.” It’s just like the inside of it… fun and cute! I’m also so happy to see a book missing the every other book abs picture! We have a man with a shirt on! Uh oh, take note!! People can be sexy with clothes on… I know, crazy, right? The bright colors, of this, mostly black cover, really sneak in the idea that this book itself is going to be bright!
“I Wanna Text You Up” is my first Teagan Hunter book. I don’t know where I’ve been hiding since she has a few books under her belt. I am completely head over heels for Zoe and Caleb! They were amazing together! The banter they had together nearly killed me! Their chemistry was hot! I really enjoy a couple that can have fun together and have some hotness together. It isn’t all about what happens in the bedroom. I loved, LOVED, the quick-witted comebacks these two slung around. I really enjoyed that this book didn’t feel rushed. It wasn’t JUST a funny book; there was meat to it, there was conflict and resolution. But really what was the best was the slow and steady friendship that melded into more with Zoe and Caleb!
Hunter gives us a book with so much personality! I’m going to have to go back and check out her other books! First on my list is “Let’s Get Textual.” I mean, her titles alone make me giggle-snort! She’s interested me with her storyline and character. The fact that this book was only told from Zoe’s POV and I was still hooked should tell you how amazing it is. I am the queen of dual POV, I just always want to know what’s happening in “his” head. But Hunter did a fantastic job! While I think I might have loved it a half star more with Caleb’s POV, I still am totally tickled pick with the outcome!
Emma Wilder is one of my favorite female narrators! She’s such a strong voice and can easily carry dual POVs without it being weird. I can’t wait to hear more from this narrator!
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I will leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that… my opinions.
We first meet Caleb and Zoe in ‘Let’s Get Textual’ and they were great supporting and secondary characters. I knew Caleb was a doll and Zoe was zany but I loved getting a peek into their relationship.
This is an excellent follow up book in the series and I highly recommend it! Plus you can a glimpse of what Zack and Delia are up too. I’m not so patiently waiting on the next book in the series!
Exactly my idea of a perfect rom-com
Let’s Get Textual was one of my favorite reads for 2017, maybe even THE top read (I have trouble deciding these things) so I had high expectations for this one going in, and wow! It did not disappoint! Note that though characters carry over, there are only brief mentions of the events in the first book, so this can easily be read as standalone.
Zoe and Caleb’s story was exactly my idea of a perfect rom-com; cover-your-mouth-so-you-don’t-wake-the-house-up laughter (without getting stupid or going over the the top), lovely touching moments as these two characters connect, and scenes that were real scorchers (both in and out of the kitchen). I loved the build-up here; in their relationship, waiting to get the background on what happened with Caleb and learning more about Zoe, who was a favorite in the first book. Of course, the brief catching up wth Delia and Zach again was a definite plus.
Fun and flirty, sexy and silly, hilariously funny and sweetly touching, all by turns, this is a story that I can already tell will be one of my favorite reads for the year. 5++ stars.
