FROM THE AUTHOR OF THE HIT ROMCOM LET’S GET TEXTUAL, COMES AN ALL-NEW STANDALONE ROMCOM…When I put up a ROOMMATE WANTED poster, he was the last person on earth I thought would respond. He was also the last person on earth I’d agree to let live with me…on purpose. But, here we are—roommates. I’m certain we can coexist without it being awkward, and I’m determined to make it work. There will be no … I’m determined to make it work. There will be no sexual tension building with each accidental touch, no flutters when he wears that stupid backward baseball cap, and definitely no flirting when we text back and forth.
Caleb Mills can’t be the guy for me. He’s my best friend’s ex-boyfriend.
And that would be wrong…right?
“I loved everything about this book. It was sweet, LOL funny, and Caleb and Zoe have chemistry that is off the charts hot. I’m giving this one 10 million “Edward Cullen” sparkly stars!” –Tara Sivec, USA TODAY Bestselling Author

This is the first book I have read by Teagan Hunter, but it won’t be my last!
This book is a perfect example of what a romantic comedy should be! I love any book that makes me laugh out loud and then add romance and BAM! I am hooked!
This story of Zoe and Caleb is such a fun journey! Their texting is hilarious and their in person interactions are even better!
Zoe is my kind of gal! She is her own person with her own needs and wants and isn’t afraid to tell it like it is! I love the fact that she is a well adjusted adopted gal and you are swamped with a sad backstory about it! She loves her family and they love her! I like the fact that she sticks with the “Girl Code” until she can talk to her best friend and get the closure she needs to move on with her relationship with Caleb.
Oh my me, Caleb…Such a charmer! It really moved me how he tried to keep bring his family into a better place and they just used and abused him. He and Zoe had the perfect relationship.
This story is fast paced, romantic and a bit steamy but it doesn’t go overboard, I like how it focused on the getting to know each other and taking their time until they moved to the physical! Sometimes you need that slow build up, or anticipation as Caleb said.
Thank you for your words! I can’t wait to go back and read about Delia and Zach!
I looovvvveeedddd Let’s Get Textual, liked really loved it. It was one of my top read last year. This one was cute too but I didn’t loooove it. The texts between Caleb and Zoe were pretty good. There was great banter and there wasn’t really any drama, which I liked. It just didn’t grab me as much as I hoped it would. But having said that, it was fun and I’m glad I read it.
Zoe and Caleb are so precious! Love the characters, love their chemistry, love their story. And I love her parents. How cute are they?
This is truly a rom-com: funny and clever and flirty. But there’s just enough feels to give it depth and plenty of slow-burn sexy to hold my interest. Highly recommended!!
4.5 stars
Ever since I heard that there was going to be another book after Let’s Get Textual, I was on board for reading. I can honestly say I wasn’t disappointed.
I found myself reading every chance I could, including at a busy restaurant. I laughed and giggled in public, and I can’t even say I’m ashamed because this book was absolutely worth the looks.
Zoe and Caleb are adorable together, add in some great chemistry and bam! They are perfect for one another! They just work.
I highly recommend it, but make sure you have tissues on hand for all the laugh crying that you’ll be doing.
*I also recommend not eating or drinking while reading, unless you have to, because it will fly back out.
4.5 Stars!
I Wanna Text You Up is a cute, fun and flirty Rom-Com. The h in this story has a quirky and hilarious sense of humor and the H is swoon-worthy. This story is a Standalone and perfect for a quiet afternoon read, it’s fast paced and once you start, you’ll read it straight to the very HEA. As the title suggests the story is filled with texts that at times were flirty and funny to revealing and serious.
Zoe is looking for a roommate after her BFF Delia decides to move in with her boyfriend, Zach. She decides she hates to live alone and would like someone to move in, male or female, so she won’t get lonely. Instead of posting the roommate wanted ad on line Zoe decides to go old school and post fliers instead. After checking out several applicants, all by email, she narrows her search down to one potential roommate. Much to her surprise, it’s Caleb, Delia’s ex-boyfriend who she broke up a year ago, the one she had chosen to meet. Still Zoe’s a little hesitant, since she’s always found him attractive and she knows she can’t break the girl code, she’ll rent Caleb the room as long as Delia’s okay with it.
Caleb’s well known at school, a popular jock and well loved by everyone. He was the star third-baseman until he broke his hand, something he refuses to talk about. He’s always been quiet about his family and doesn’t share his secrets with anyone. Everyone just assumes the comic book loving good guy’s life is perfect and they’re so far off base. Caleb has plenty of things he wants to hide about his family. No one would guess how horrible his childhood was, school being his do-over, but after injuring his hand, Caleb’s dream of playing in any of the leagues has pretty much tanked. It’ll be a little difficult for Caleb to live with Zoe, if he’s being honest; he’s been attracted to her after breaking up with Delia. Maybe he might have a chance with her, if Zoe can get over the girl code thing.
“We don’t talk. We don’t move. We don’t overthink the position we’re in.
We lie there, together.
Because deep down, we both know there’s no denying the attraction between us.
And there’s no denying we can’t do anything about it.”
Oh, my! These two are so cute, I thought their emails were funny but when they start to text each other the comedy takes off. Cute and flirty texts that had me blushing! The story has it’s bittersweet moments as Zoe and Caleb start to grow closer. they can’t deny their attraction to each other, and start sharing secrets and fears. I loved this story and I’m sure I’llbe going back to read Delia’s story, soon.
Zoe needs a roommate for companionship now that her best friend has moved out. She decides to post up some quirky fliers to see what happens. When she hits it off with someone by texting back and forth, they decide to meet in person. When Caleb walks through the door, she’s floored. She never expected him to be the person she had been texting. And, she certainly can’t live with her best friend’s ex, right?
Caleb needs a place to stay. He has medical bills piling up and promises to be a good roommate if Zoe will only give living with him a chance . . . and he cooks! He’s not home much between work and school and his adorable kitten is a definite plus for Zoe.
Keeping things strictly platonic is not as easy as it looks, however. Their friendship continues to grow and flirting through texts seems to be their main form of communication some days with their opposite schedules. Are they ready to take things to the next step?
Can Zoe get over the fact that Caleb dated her best friend? Can Caleb finally break free from his past homelife that seems to keep pulling him down?
I Wanna Text You Up was a really sweet story. I didn’t read Let’s Get Textual and felt this book stood on its own quite well. While Zoe and Caleb seem to be complete opposites in almost every way, they seem to fit together really well and balance one another out. Their interactions as friends and then as a couple feel very real and genuine.
I really enjoyed that a large part of the dialogue took place through flirty texts . . . It helped them gain a comfort level with one another quickly, and I have to say that their “battles” over Mittens the kitten are adorable . . . especially every time Zoe sends Caleb a new picture of the cat wearing a sweater. This is a really fun slow burn and build up to when they finally decide to take the plunge as a couple.
While their romance seems to be light hearted, there is more to both Zoe and Caleb than the reader first sees. Caleb is really pulled down by his past and his family. He has done so much to break free, but can’t make that final cut. Zoe is understanding, but definitely not a pushover. Both characters show great depth.
If you are looking for a fun and out of the box rom com, snap this up! 4.5 stars.
