“Expanding the world of her Dowser series, Doidge merges romance, carnality, and supernatural fantasy to lush effect.” – Kirkus ReviewsThe day I turned nineteen, I expected to gain what little freedom I could within the restrictions of my bank account and the hallucinations that had haunted me for the last six years. I expected to drive away from a life that had been dictated by the tragedy of … tragedy of others and shaped by the care of strangers. I expected to be alone. Actually, I relished the idea of being alone. Instead, I found fear I thought I’d overcome. Uncertainty I thought I’d painstakingly planned away. And terror that was more real than anything I’d ever hallucinated before. I’d seen terrible, fantastical, and utterly impossible things … but not love. Not until I saw him.

This paranormal romance/urban fantasy is the first book in the Oracle Series by author Meghan Ciana Doidge. Author’s note: The ideal reading order of I See Me (Oracle 1) is between Dowser 3 and 4, but it’s not actually necessary to read the Dowser Series before reading the Oracle Series.

A piece of a story that could’ve been an actual book if it weren’t for the attempt at dragging it out into the series. You get bored with it pretty fast. I can’t imagine being interested enough to actually pursue the next installment.
Very captivating, don’t want to stop reading. He supernatural in this series brought down to feel right at home.
Absolutely excellent. Engaging and everything about it kept moving.
Can’t wait to read the rest of this series.
This is a great book , Kath
Fun werewolf and magic story.
I loved this book. I had a hard time
Putting it down. Just makes you want to keep on reading to find out what happens in the end.
Disapointing when a book just quits so you have to keep buying to find out what happens
Good Fantasy . I like book about strong women characters
Should be advertised as for young adults
Rochelle is a young woman who suffers seizures, resulting in vivid hallucinations. Her only recourse is to draw what she sees during these visions, thereby getting the unwanted thoughts out of her head. I spent the first 40% of this book thinking it was a drama, detailing the struggles of a woman’s mental illness. But then… sharp left turn, buddy. Rochelle meets Beau, and she is dragged into a world of shape shifters, witches and magic.

The author had put a lot of effort into creating her characters, and it shows. Rochelle is a highly sympathetic protagonist, thrust into a world most people don’t know exists. The story itself is solid, with a pace of action that may be slow at times, but the tale is always moving forward. This book is the first in the Oracle series, but intermingles with Doidge’s other series, the Dowser saga.

Like most of the books, there are the typical typos and book to ereader errors, but overall, not a bad book. I have noticed with some of these younger writers, they have a problem with the proper use of tenses in their books, which kind of drives me nuts, but if you overlook that, the book is an easy to read, no brainer, pass the time kind of book and it was free. It is nothing more or less than what you expect from a paranormal romance.
Kepted you wondering. Liked the character’s
Not for younger teens.
Enjoyed the story, wasn’t crazy about the typo’s
Could not get interested in it,but will give it another try
It was too slow moving and I just couldn’t get into it.
Very strange story without a true ending. I would not recommend this book.
Love this series!
I really like this authors writing style and have read all her books.
