A billionaire and a single mother have more in common than they know.
He’s a billionaire businessman …
Luciano Donati, entrepreneur and eligible bachelor, lost his first wife to cancer. So though he lives in romantic Charleston, SC, he has every intention of ignoring the upcoming holiday for lovers … at least until he sets eyes again on his younger sister’s best friend.
He remembers …
He remembers Anastasia as a teenager who idolized him, not this lovely, fragile woman with heartbreak in her eyes. Heartbreak that he finds himself wanting to cure. Her smile warms his soul, her touch ignites his desire, and her little girl Soo-Min melts his frozen heart. Adopted internationally himself at a young age, Luciano understands all too well the strong need to belong somewhere.
She’s a single mom …
Anastasia Markow, cancer survivor and divorced mother, didn’t come to Charleston, SC, for romance. She’s here to make sure she has custody of her adopted daughter, Soo-Min. But when she encounters the first man she ever loved, here in the city of horse-drawn carriages and candlelight, her battered heart can’t help but bloom again. And when Luciano and Soo-Min take to each other, resisting his charm becomes even harder.
Handsome, self-assured, every inch the successful billionaire, Luciano is out of Anastasia’s reach. But when a hurricane strands them together and they must trust each other to survive … things heat up despite the driving rain and gale winds.
Can Valentine’s Day bring this unlikely pair together … this time for good?
Author’s Note: Thousands of families around the world have opened their homes and hearts through international adoption. Soo-Min is the embodiment of many, many fortunate adoptive children and parents who’ve together created forever families.

A tender love story that was on hold for16 years. Friends from their teenage years never thought anything would come of their secret crush on each other. But when she shows up for a visit with her friend and find out they would be staying at his home the old feelings for each ignite. It’s not a long book, but it is hard to put down.
I found Liz to be a very skeevy manipulative person. I don’t know how Luciano couldn’t see this, and how he could be friends with this type of person. This was a quick second chance romance with insta love, but I attribute that to this being a short story. I did appreciate Anastasia’s growth and acceptance by the story’s end and Eliza seemed to improve too. I listened to the audio version of this and enjoyed it.
Another great book by Josie, I have enjoyed everyone of her books that I have read. This was second chance romance, it did seem to happen quickly after so many years apart. However the book is that long so it is understandable.

A beautifully written book with an interesting story line. The characters are strong, and the story flows quickly and smoothly. I enjoyed reading this story.
Wonderful and heartwarming story with romance throw in. Some twists and turns. Entertaining and interesting characters with good interaction. Holidays always add an unexpected twist. Good read.

I liked how Luciano and Anatasia knew each other from growing up, they lost touch and went on with their lives only to meet again years later when Luciano’s sister organises a consultation with a lawyer about custody for her daughter Soo-Min. Luciano and Anatasia are a bit hot and cold with each other as neither are very good with small talk and I was a bit surprised that neither really knew much about what the other had been up to when they are both close with Jaclyn Luciano’s sister. Both have things going on in their life that they need to work through which causes conflict and jealousy along with self doubt and has you wondering if they both really care for each other as much as they think. This is the perfect quickish read that has you laughing, worrying, rolling you eyes and falling in love with an adorable four year old and golden retriever…. oh and Luciano and Anatasia too! lol

Anastasia Markow Is a single mom and cancer survivor who was Luciano Donati little sister friend when they were younger. The characters are engaging and well developed with plenty of chemistry throughout the pages will they allow themselves to love again? The storyline hooked me from the start.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is an emotional love story. It is about a widower, Luciano, and a single mom, Anastasia. They knew each other thru his sister. These two have known loss, fear, survival and love. They have a lot of commonalities both good and bad ones. It takes an act of nature to show them what they could still have in their future.

A Sweet Contemporary Valentine Romance Novella that held my interest until the end. Luciano Donati, entrepreneur and eligible bachelor and single mother Anastasia and her daughter Soo-Min’s story. I enjoyed seeing this story come together.

The characters were well defined and the story plot was good—well paced. The descriptions were just enough to envision the scenes.
But, just about all of the characters are self-centered, or at least do something self-centered and mess up someone’s day. The four-year-old can be excused, because 4yo. The main characters, though!
It all works out because they finally talk, but still.
I Love You More was a good read by Josie Riviera. Luciano Donati is a billionaire businessman, who lost his first wife to cancer. He doesn’t want to find love again until he sees his younger sister’s best friend. Anastasia was a teenager who idolized Luciano. Unfortunately, now she’s a fragile woman who has heartbreak in her eyes. She’s a single mom and cancer survivor who just wants to make sure that she has custody of her daughter. A hurricane strands them together and they must trust each other to survive. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more by the author.
I loved this sweet story about old time friends who finally find each other. The author deals with a lot as there is International adoption, divorce, cancer, search for birth family, putting others needs in front of your own and she does it all very well.
The narrator did a great job with voices and accents. Such a cute child’s voice.

This audiobook gave us Luciano Donati and Anastasia Markow.
Luciano was the young boy she had a crush on years ago but each went their separate ways.
When Anastasia, a cancer survivor and recently divorced Mom goes to visit Luciano’s sister, Luciano , now a widower and millionaire, is once enchanted with Anastasia.
During a terrible storm the friendship strengths. But Anastasia is determined to get full custody of her adopted daughter, and Luciano, who was adopted as a child, wants to find his biological family in Italy.
Though at times I felt that the side plots didn’t always seem to blend with the main story, it still was a sweet , clean romance.
I felt that at the forefront was the fact that international adoptions bring parents and children in need together to form a new family that will fill the hearts of all involved.
Finally, the narration of the audiobook was well done
I Love You More
By: Josie Riviera
Narrated by: Liz Baechel
I love you more! Josie Riviera has picked the perfect title for this book! Anastasia, a single mom is not looking for a relationship. She is just trying to keep custody of her adopted daughter. Her ex-husband is not an easy man, and things are getting messy. Visiting South Carolina, she never expected to see her first love, Luciano. Luciano lives in South Carolina and is still dealing with the loss of his wife. He bumps into Anastasia, his best friend’s sister and though she isn’t the vibrant love struck teenager, she still warms his heart. And her daughter, well she just makes him smile. Will these two find a second chance at love together? Riviera packs so much into her books, and this one has so much in it! I love the international adoption of Soo-Min, the care in dealing with life threatening disease and the chance to find a new normal, and a new love. It’s all there in this wonderfully written, with a little danger thrown in as well, you will find the protectiveness, compassion and true love to warm your heart.
Liz Baechel brings this all to life with a wonderful performance. Her style is a good fit for this book, adding in a little Italian accent to give Luciano that romantic feel. She plays Anastasia with a realistic feel, as we get the emotional pull of a mom, and a woman. It is a beautiful listen.

I listened to this and I loved it. The narrator, Liz Baechel, really did a wonderful job bringing Josie’s book to life.
A amazing sweet heartfelt short romance. This engaging storyline is full of action, surprises, romance, drama, heartache, aftermath of cancer, custody, and more. Its beautifully narrated really bringing you into the story. The characters are interesting, well developed, and full of chemistry as they struggle, through their hardships and struggles they have both faced and finding a HEA.
Anastasia and Luciano both knew loss. She lost her marriage to a cheating spouse and worries about how his new wife is treating their daughter. Luciano lost his wife to lung cancer and has a prejudice against foreign adoptions because he was one of them. He spoke often to Anastasia about how he didn’t agree with her adopting from Korea, but he seems to get past it. He also didn’t seem very anxious about her battles with skin cancer even though that can kill just as easily as lung cancer. The hurricane was scary and I can’t image dealing with anything like that where everything is washed away including the vehicle Anastasia and Luciano were driving in. I loved his dog Lady and Anastasia’s adoptive daughter Soo-Min was adorable. Anastasia was looking out for her best interests even if she rushed into her decision to go after full custody.
The narrator had a nice smooth tone with voice changes in all the right places.
This was an exceptionally good book that dealt with factors of life that I had not read about before. Anastasia is dealing with cancer along with her divorce and custody of her adopted daughter.
Josie’s description of the storm/hurricane with all the destruction is quite realistic. The characters are well developed and all are connected.
I recommend this book.
This is a review of the free audible book I received from the author. Anastasia gets a second chance with her first love, Luciano when she goes to Charleston. They suffer through a hurricane together. He helps her when she thinks she wants to get full custody of her adopted daughter after a divorce. They have several things to learn before they get their HEA. This is a good story about maturing as an adult, not judging the stepmother or Luciano.
I enjoyed Ms. Baechel’s narration very much also. This is my voluntary review.
