Drinks + Christmas Party + Lost eye contacts = Flaming Hot KissExcept I have no idea who was on the receiving end.I didn’t even see (extreme short-sightedness problems big time). But it was definitely someone from the office.New week, new day at work,Annnnd my lips are still tingling whenever I think about it.But it’s not like I can kiss every guy in the office,And see who would turn out to be the … every guy in the office,
And see who would turn out to be the charming prince of that night.
Not that I don’t already have enough on my plate as it is,
What with all the shooting glares my hotshot player of a boss keeps directing at me.
Why was he suddenly acting so out of character?
What was he so mad about?
Did I do something wrong?
Did I fax the wrong letter maybe?
Or clip his documents wrong?
This is a steamy 2-book romance novella box set. No cheating. No cliff-hanger. And the kind of ending you will just love. Team HEA all the way!!

2 – GREAT Reads!
A great set of reads with entertaining storylines that did an great job of toying with my emotions and keeping me captivated. The chemistry is sexy hot and edgy. Both have sweet ending. I enjoyed this set of reads and would gladly suggest to others.
Awesome box set!! Following the journey of these two couples battling to rescue their love stories, showed how misunderstandings (Ambi and Trey) and not letting go of past hurts (Callie and Matt) derail the best intentions. Both Ambi and Callie had to let go of something in order to get something better in return…their HEA…

The first story in this book, Claimed By The Boss, was the story of two former lovers. Ambi and Trey had been in a relationship 5 years ago until his father told Trey that he would lose his job and inheritance if he stayed with Ambi. Am I had gone on to start a successful business and Trey had become a success at his father’s firm. However, Trey had matured and decided he wanted to be with Ambition again so he hires her company to plan a Christmas party for his dad’s firm. He wants to use their interaction to win her back and she wants to have nothing to do with him. The story is about how he tries to win her back. I loved how he now wanted to do whatever it took to get her back after how badly he treated her before. He would have to work hard if he wanted a HEA.
The second story was I Kissed The Boss. Callie had worked for Matt for a year before they had the company Christmas party. After they both had too much to drink they ended up kissing under the mistletoe. Matt had previously decided that he wanted to end his playboy ways and find a serious relationship. He felt the electricity in their kiss and decided he wanted a relationship with her. Unfortunately, Callie had lost her contacts before the kiss and didn’t know who she had kissed. She had also felt something special in the kiss did not want to get involved in a relationship because of issues from her past. The story is about Matt convincing Callie that they should be together. Things do not go smoothly because Callie has never dealt with her past and can’t move on. There would be a lot of work before there could be a HEA.
I liked both stories about couples having to deal with issues from their past. The stories were well written and I recommend this book.
There are two books in this set.
First one is “Claimed By the Boss”, Trey is back to win Ambi’s heart. He left her few years ago and broke her heart. He will have to work hard to win her again.
Loved this story.
Second one is “Kissed by the Boss”
Callie is attending Christmas work party. After loosing her contact lens and having “one” too many drinks, she ends up under mistletoe and she has to kiss a man standing there too. Too bad she doesn’t recognize that she is kissing her boss. Matt is in shock and can’t forget that kiss, he has a plan for Callie. One that’s involve dating.
ONE DELICIOUS WHIRLWIND!!!

This is a wonderfully sweet romance between Ambi and Trey as they reconnect five years later after their college days romance. After being broken-hearted when Trey chose his father’s business over her five years ago in an ultimatum issued by his dad, Ambi has much unresolved bitterness and hurt for Trey. She now runs her own business , and is hired by Trey to throw a Christmas party for his father’s company. Ambi is very relatable as she goes through a gambit of emotions and conflicts within trying to maintain an ambivalent working relationship with Trey. Their chemistry is palpable and their banter most enjoyable. A delightful holiday read!

I love this collection! Two wonderful and heartfelt stories!
Claimed by the Boss is the story of Amberina and Trey. Sweethearts in college, their relationship ends when his father gives him an ultimatum – the girl or his inheritance. Of course, he chooses wrong and spends the next five years regretting it. Fast forward those five years and Ambi has her own event planning business and she is called upon to plan the Christmas party for the company Trey and his father own. She is fuming mad at him, and has been for five years, for breaking her heart. Determined to stay away from him, Trey makes it extremely difficult when he takes over the planning on his end. He continues to get Ambi to give him a second chance and just when he thinks he’s got it, his father steps in again and forces him to make another choice. As much as Ambi has forgiven him and wants to try again, she can’t let him choose her over the only family he has left. So she gives Trey the ultimatum this time – they can only move forward if his father goes along with it. A conversation with his father finds the two of them having a true heart to heart conversation where truths are revealed, mistakes and misunderstandings admitted and a final plea from his father to go and get the love of his life. It works out in the end as not only do Trey and Ambi get their happy ending but a relationship blossoms between Trey’s father and Ambi’s mother.
Kissed by the Boss is the story of Callie and Matt. She is his administrative assistant and things are going well until the company Christmas party when her coworker, best friend and roommate Chantara convinces her to go to the party with her. There after an entertainment snafu, everyone turns to the bar and Callie ends up drinking a little more than she planned. Add to that the fact that she lost a contact lens, doesn’t have her glasses and can’t really see without either and things suddenly get interesting. Mistletoe being hung in the hallway causes Callie to kiss someone but she can’t see who it is. Turns out it’s Matt, her boss. The kiss feels like no other kiss he’s ever had and he can’t stop thinking about it. Callie ignoring him all week, makes him think she didn’t feel what he did until he overhears her telling Chantara that she doesn’t know who she kissed. Matt then comes clean that it was him but convinces her to go on a date with him. He wants to see if the feeling is there when they are sober. She reluctantly agrees and he can’t wait. She’s been through a rough time as her fiance Ben, left her the night before their wedding. Despite not wanting to, she ends up enjoying her date with Matt and in the end, she ends up spending the night in his arms. She tells him her darkest secret thinking it won’t matter as she is planning to quit her job and never see him again. Matt doesn’t let it go though and does whatever he can to let Callie know he cares for her. After several tries, the two have a conversation that ends up changing everything. They both finally agree to let things happen naturally and see where they go. And they go right to their happily ever after.

I Kissed the Boss is actually 2 stories in one book. I thoroughly enjoyed both of them, but I have to say, I liked “Claimed by the Boss” more than “Kissed by the Boss.” I liked the way the characters in the first book (Claimed by the Boss) had history. I personally enjoy reading stories with that kind of angst – unresolved issues from the past, family interfering, standing up to said family and getting the second chance that leads to a HEA. This story had the added surprise ending that I did not see coming. While “Kissed by the Boss” was also good, it may have been just a little too far fetched for me. It started off great, but Calli was Matt’s first non-one night stand – his first time to get serious and while that’s a good story-line, it was a little unbelieveable for me that he would be willing to keep trying with Calli over and over again. Maybe that’s just a good romance book and I missed it. All that being said, I really enjoy this box set and would recommend it to fans of Lindsey Hart as well as those new to her.

Two wonderful books where the woman has an internal struggle to do what she wants.
Claimed by the boss is Ambi and Trey’s story. He left her for money and she never forgave him. When he hires her for his company party will he be able to explain his thoughts to her?
Kissed by the Boss is Callie and Matt’s story. Callie is at the company Christmas party when her contact pops out and she can’t see anything. When she stops under the mistletoe a man kisses her and its an unforgettable kiss. When she learns who it is can she let her walls down or will she stay stubborn and let her internal fight take over?
You’ll be sure to enjoy the sass of the women and how their men win them over.

The books was good. I enjoyed the characters and the story lines were good. They did get a little wordy at times.

I’ve read many of this author’s books and this box set includes two holiday stories. The first, CLAIMED BY THE BOSS, is a second chance story. The story itself, as well as both main characters – Ambi and Trey – are very well written. It involves lots of bad history, anger, hurt feelings, angst, misunderstandings, humor and tension that leads to an HEA. CLAIMED BY THE BOSS is what I’d expect from a Lindsey Hart book and it doesn’t disappoint.
I found that the second book in the set, KISSED BY THE BOSS, wasn’t as easy to get into. In fact, at times, it felt like it had been written by someone else entirely. Although the writing had no glaring errors, the flow wasn’t there. I kept reading and finally, something changed and by the last third of it, the story clicked. Callie’s character was not on par with what this author usually gives her readers and in my opinion, it made the story wordy and drag a bit at the beginning. The premise of the story was really good but it struggled to deliver.

Spend a day on these two delightful NC17 tales that hinge on a holiday party. The one in Claimed by the Boss takes place in late November and that in Kissed by the Boss takes place in December.

Lindsey Hart has given us a duo of stories to read and enjoy.
In the first offering, “Claimed by the Boss” the two main characters are Amberina and Trey. Amberina has her own event planning business. She receives a call wanting her to plan a huge party with an enormous budget and a large fee for her services. The downside is that the company is one that her ex boyfriend’s father owns and the stinking turd ex works there. Trey (the turd) unceremoniously dumped her when the father threatened to cut him out of any inheritance if he didn’t choose family over the girl.
The line has been drawn in the sand, and the fireworks that are going off between Ambi and Trey have only begun. The question that remains to be answered is that actions speak louder than words and sometimes actions cannot be overcome.
The second offering is ”Claimed by the Boss” with the two main characters being Callie and Matt. Callie is the shy reserved PA for hunky rich Matt. Callie’s co-worker and roommate insists they go to the annual work Christmas party. After the overly long speeches, they finally get to the buffet and Callie loses a contact, and she has to remove the remaining one which leaves her unable to see much of anything.
Matt has decided to swear off women since they only seem to want him for the money. After several drinks, Matt hears that several employees are having a little too much fun under the mistletoe in the hallway. While taking the pieces he gets slammed from behind by Callie. The ensuing kiss leaves an impression for both of them. Matt has never been this aware of a woman, and he wants more. Callie is shocked by her behavior, but she knows that no one will ever want her because of her past.
Matt wants Callie more than anybody in the past, but she believes that a relationship with any man is impossible. Can the guilt Carrie has be overcome in time?

I liked this cute two book box set. I thought that the storylines for these books were fun and engaging.
My favorite of the two books was definitely Kissed by the Boss. I just really liked the overall madcap, zany feel to Callie and Matt’s romance. It was just a very fun read. Claimed by the Boss was good but I will say that I felt that Trey came across as too desperate and Amberina was simply too wishy-washy for my liking.
This is a great box set. These are great stories with great characters. I really enjoyed reading these book.

I loved Trey and Ambi’s story. The story starts with Ambi getting a call from Hartford and Heatherford asking if she can plan a Christmas party. She owns an event planning business and she knows a high profile client will help her business. The only problem is her ex Trey Hartford who she will be working with. Five years ago Trey had broken her heart and she hasn’t gotten over it. Trey wants Ambi back and is hoping she will give him a chance. Can he mend her broken heart? A great read I enjoyed immensely!
*Kissed By The Boss*
I adored this story! Callie goes to her company Christmas party, loses her contacts, gets drunk, winds up under the mistletoe with her boss, Matt. They kiss and Matt is hooked, sadly Callie doesn’t see who it was. Matt thinks she’s ignoring him and doesn’t know why. Matt finally comes clean that it was him that had kissed her and wants to date her. Will Matt convince Callie to give his a chance? This story was charming, light-hearted, and a falling in love story. Definitely recommend!

A collection of two holiday themed stories.
Claimed by the Boss:
A second chance story about Trey and Amberina who dated in college before Trey broke up with her. A series of misunderstandings is what led to their breakup and Ambi can’t stand to be around Trey now. His company hires her to plan their Christmas party and Trey does everything he can to win Ambi back.
A decent story, but I felt like Trey was begging a little to much and Ambi was definitely in denial over her feelings. Needed better communication between all the characters.
Kissed by the Boss:
Callie is the administrative assistant to Matt and after losing her contacts at the company Christmas party and getting a little drunk, she ends up kissing him, but doesn’t know it’s him. Callie has been hurt in the past and has a secret that affects everything she does. Matt has a reputation but is ready to find the right person and settle down. The sparks that flew from the kiss leads Matt to pursue Callie.
This was my favorite of the two stories. Emotional and well written. I really enjoyed the story and the connection between the characters.
– This was a loveable love story. The characters were great and added to the couple’s story. The twists, turns and surprises were mostly caused by Callie’s insecurities but they kept the pages turning. Matt tried to understand Callie but kept putting his foot in it. The turning point was when he let her know that she had hurt him in all of this and they got a happy ending.
Lindsey Hart has written a 5-star box set. Each book has the female main character dealing with things that happened in the past. In the book Claimed By the Boss – Ambi is an event planner and she has been contacted by A company she does not want to work with. She ends up taking the job thinking that she will be working with the secretary, but when she gets there to pick up the deposit she finds out she will be working with Trey. Trey broke her heart 5 years before and she has never gotten over it.
Will Ambi let Trey in again or will she walk away from him?
Can Trey get Ambi to listen to him or will he lose her for good?
I Kissed the Boss – Callie and her best friend and co-worker go to the company Christmas party. Things do not go good for Callie, she lost one of her contacts and now she can’t see. Towards the end of the night, still having a hard time seeing she is under some mistletoe along with Matt. there are some people yelling kiss her so he does. Since she can’t see, she doesn’t know who she has kissed. She is worried about her job and needs to know who she kissed. Matt is Callie’s boss. He finally lets her know that it was him that kissed her and they talk about the kiiss, he lets her know that he wants a date with her. Callie comes in on Monday and tells him she will go on one date only with him. After the date, they go to his home for dinner. The attraction they feel for one another is to hard to ignore so they have their one night. Callie leaves before Matt wakes up and knowing she will not see him again. On Monday Callie calls in and quits. Matt can’t stop thinking about her so he gets her friend Chartara to help him.
Can Callie get over her past hurts and let Matt in or will she stay alone?
Will Matt be able to get Callie to give him a chance or will he lose her?
In both of these books, the females have a pass that they need to work out in order to be with the guys. The guys will do what needs to be done to help their lady get over their past.
I would recommend this box set to anyone.
