Drinks + Christmas Party + Lost eye contacts = Flaming Hot KissExcept I have no idea who was on the receiving end.I didn’t even see (extreme short-sightedness problems big time). But it was definitely someone from the office.New week, new day at work,Annnnd my lips are still tingling whenever I think about it.But it’s not like I can kiss every guy in the office,And see who would turn out to be the … every guy in the office,
And see who would turn out to be the charming prince of that night.
Not that I don’t already have enough on my plate as it is,
What with all the shooting glares my hotshot player of a boss keeps directing at me.
Why was he suddenly acting so out of character?
What was he so mad about?
Did I do something wrong?
Did I fax the wrong letter maybe?
Or clip his documents wrong?
This is a steamy 2-book romance novella box set. No cheating. No cliff-hanger. And the kind of ending you will just love. Team HEA all the way!!

Claimed by the Boss
Trey broke things off with Ambi five years ago because his father gave him an ultimatum. For five years both of them were miserable. Then suddenly Trey’s company needs Ambi to organise the work Christmas party. Ambi was still very angry and hurt, but Trey realised what he gave up and wanted Ambi back and was willing to fight for her.
There follows a great comedic story of two people wanting each other but Ambi is fighting her feelings, trying to hold onto her anger but it’s a losing battle. Trey confronted his father and tells him he wants Ambi even if he says no. Trey is given his father’s approval and he goes to win his woman back.
A well rounded story full of comedy and romance by characters you can’t help but love and a very happily ever after.

Characters were well developed and the interactions between them were spot on for the storyline pace. I loved the flow of the story and the storyline was just right to keep you entertained and wanting more. It had the right amount of drama and laughter compared to the romance and sizzle.

Lindsey does it again – this is an awesome book set. There are two different stories but equally awesome! The first story, Claimed by the Boss is about Amberina and Trey. Amberina has just been hired to plan the office party for her ex and his father’s company. She needs this and refuses to let the past play part of her ability to do her job. Trey on the other hand, has a lot to apologize to Ambi, but will she be able to accept that apology or just let him go on following daddy’s order. This was a great read.
The second book was Kissed by the Boss which is about Callie and Matt. Callie is working for Matt as his assistant and after persuasion from her friends and co-workers, she attends the Christmas party. Unfortunately for her she looses a contact and cant see without them. Well she is then kissed under the mistletoe by her own boss Matt as everyone was cheering them on; however, she does not know who it is and he then tells her it was him. Well things take off but then not, this is a great duo and one that needs to be read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
So Ambi and Trey have a history. One raised by a single parent and the other with a silver spoon.
Its been 1/2 a decade and they’ve both tried to move on…but that hasn’t worked out for either well.
Trey is trying to reconnect and apologize for past wrongs.
To find out more you will need to read the rest of the story for more details.
Bk 1: Trey is the quintessential rich boy. Good looking, doted on by his parents, smart and did I say, good looking. Ambi is a hard working college student just trying to achieve her dreams. When the chemistry hits off the charts, Trey is faced with an ultimatum by his father. Years pass and a second chance presents itself but will past hurts, meddling family and plain old stubbornness get in the way?
Bk 2: Callie has been hurt her entire life and only wants to be normal and happy. Matt is the golden boy in oh so many ways and he just happens to be Callies boss. Christmas party, alcohol and a lost contact send these two into a heart stopping kiss that puts them both into a tailspin. Can Matt prove to Callie that he’s more than the office hunk? Can Callie get over the tragedies in her past, heal and allow Matt in?
Heartwarming stories!

Two wonderful stories in this box set about a office romance set around Christmas time..
Claimed by the Boss
The first story is about Amberina, (Ambi a events planner) who gets hired for a Christmas company party by a company, Hartford and Heather, that her ex boyfriend Trey Hartford works at. When she agrees, she thinks she will be working with the secretary but ends up working with Trey who she hates. Trey wants Ambi back. Can he change Ambi mind and give him a second chance?
I Kissed the Boss
From the title this is a cute romance about Callie and Matt. Callie goes to the company Christmas party and loses a eye contact under the mistletoe along with a man she can’t see to well. When Matt kisses Callie sparks fly. The next day at work she ignores Matt until he confronts her and asks her out on a date. Callie who has been hurt in the past, will she give him a chance?
Both stories are well written with a female who has been hurt by a bad relationship who must rediscover the joys of falling in love again with a man who is determined to win the ladies hand during the Christmas season. I volunteer to read and review this box set via Booksprout. ARC
Ambi is an event planner and Trey is her ex whose company has called to hire her to plan their party. Can it be any more uncomfortable than that? It isn’t that Trey broke her heart and shattered her confidence…no! Of course not! But it seems that Trey has a better idea in mind and that’s to make it up to her. He knows he made a horrible mistake when he chose to do what his father told him to do….he chose family over Ambi. Trey comes across a little unsure of himself but he should be. Cute story!
Callie is at a company party and she’s well on her way to getting a little more than tipsy. In an unfortunate turn of events, she loses her contacts and the near-sighted woman can’t see a thing clearly. Too bad, because her boss, Matt, is the man standing under the mistletoe, the man the partygoers are urging her to go ahead and kiss. Caught up in the festive mood, she gives in to the kiss without ever knowing it’s her boss. Matt gave up on dating a long time ago because most women just wanted him for his money. When Callie realized just what had happened, she called in and quit. But there’s a spark between them…could it come to life? These stories are well-written and the endings are cute!
1st book
I kissed The Boss: Ambi and Trey what a pair. Trey messed up and is now wanting a second chance to have love, Ambi is protecting her heart and does not want to get hurt again. A great story.
2nd book
Kissed By The Boss: Callie and Matt WOW what a bumpy road they go through to find a happy ending just a wonderful story.

I received this book as a gift of an advanced reading copy; having finished the book I would like to give an honest opinion of what I read.
To be honest I didn’t know if it was me or the way the a couple of lines were written but there were a few places that I had a hard time understanding what was being said or implied. I will admit that the story did capture my attention by the fact that Callie was hurting and that something in her past had hurt her terribly. Hurt her so much so that she closed herself from the world so to speech as a whole. Everyone except her best friend from college that knew the truth behind Callie.
Matt himself had been having a difficult time with women. It seemed that every women that he dated wanted something from him. It was getting to the point that he was beginning to get the type of reputation around the office that he really didn’t want. He just wanted someone to like him for himself and was beginning to give up on that ever happening. That is until the fateful Christmas party. One piece of plastic mistletoe and two people having too much to drink and one of them blind with out their corrective lenses in. It was worth reading and understand the struggle these two different but so alike people were going through. I really enjoyed reading this story.
Another great job by Lindsey !! Both books have a woman dealing with issues from the past. In the first book Ambi looses the man she loves due to his father’s ultimatum. Five years later he comes back into her life. Will they both be able to get over the past and come together. With Trey be able to stand up to his father. In the second book Callie is dealing with the loss of her ex fiancé as he dumped her the night before the wedding. In comes Matt who is her boss. Things at the Christmas party get a little out of control and one thing leads to another. Very interesting story how this one goes. Great reads !!

Callie is Matt’s administrative assistant. Callie is attending the company’s Christmas party with her best friend. But she loses a contact lens and can’t see. She ends up standing under the mistletoe with Matt, her boss, but doesn’t know it’s him. The crowd cheers them on, so Matt kisses her.
When Matt tells her that he was the one who kissed her, and since he can’t get the kiss off his mind, he tells her he would like to date her. Because of her own history, Callie is willing to give him only one date. Because their attraction is so strong, they spend the night together and she sneaks out early. Callie calls the office and quits. But it isn’t that easy for Matt to let her go. Can he convince her to accept a relationship with him? Can she let go of the past and look for a future with Matt?
I loved this adorable story. Having lost a contact lens or two myself, this was completely believable that she really couldn’t see who he was! The story line was simple and well-paced. The characters were likable and the reader could care about them. Grab your copy and see if Matt and Callie can get back together and try for that HEA!
Sometimes romance is a little near sighted. Note to self: never go to office party without contacts or current glasses.
A sweet kiss at a party leaves her with a grumpy boss, a couple books full of confusing and intense romantic twists, and total HEA.
Sigh. Great holiday break!
What a great box set that was a joy to read. Beware once you start reading you’ll find it hard to stop. so grab a comfy spot and a cold drink. The set includes Claimed By the Boss and I Kissed The Boss. The first book is Ambi and Treys’s story and involved her job as an event planner for the one who broke her heart. The second book is about Callie and Matt. He’s her boss and a kiss under the mistletoe and adds to the confusion as she’d lost her contact and couldn’t see who she kissed. Both books emotional and drama filled. The characters were likable and adorable. Well written with lots of twists and and entertaining stories. I read an advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to leave a review.
Book 1
Loved this book, of college sweethearts getting a second chance at love. Liked how their was so much regret and wishful thinking on both the characters, wishing they had made different choices in the past. Absolutely, great scene where Ambi, gets her revenge on Trey for kissing her in the bakery. Fantastic ending with Trey, in understanding what was expected of him by his father and their relationship to come full circle.
Book 2
Funny setting of an office Christmas Party, and everything that can go wrong. Liked how Callie and Matt as a couple, just she was so stubborn in her decisions and reasons. Wonderful ending in being forgiven and learning to forgive herself.
