“I Do.”My name is Whitney Wheeler and I’ve dreamed of saying those two words since I was ten years old. I thought my dream was finally coming true.Fate, however, has other plans. My perfectly planned life hits a snag eight days before our wedding. I walk in on my fiancé on the couch with someone who isn’t me. Trying to “blow off” that visual, and without thinking, I accept an invitation to take a … invitation to take a road trip with the boy who broke my teenage heart.
Lucas DeCosta is all man, and surprise surprise—a male stripper. Beyond his movie-star good looks, his oh so sexy dance moves, and those big brown eyes, I find a kind heart and the overall goodness of the boy who still sets my heart on fire.
Each time he looks at me, I feel it.

I absolutely loved I Don’t by Andrea Johnston. It’s the best yet of all of her books and I didn’t want to put it down. It’s such a fun read you don’t want to miss out.
Once again another fantastic book by Andrea! Loved this story. So sweet and slow burn. Lucas is the perfect book boyfriend! sigh, can’t wait for more by Andrea.
Andrea Johnston has done it again!!! This book had me captivated from start to finish! If you love rom-coms, second chance romances, road trips and amazing friendships, then this book is for you! The story is about self-discovery and finding your own true happiness. It’s also about first loves and how sometimes you may think you want one thing, but life leads you in a different direction. The romance in this novel was absolutely swoon worthy! Add in male strippers, a couple of cute puppies and epic one liners that will have you laughing out loud and you get this outstanding book! Trust me, you don’t just want this book in your life, you need it in your life!
Enjoyable rom com
I really enjoyed the story. I was rooting for Whitney and Lucas to have a successful relationship. I liked Jessi , Carmen as well as Jonah , they added there own comical scenes to the story. I plan to read no by this author.
This is such a funny, sexy, steamy book. What a fun ride!!!

This book was funny, sweet and romantic! Everything a good book should be. I think one of my favorite things about this author is the use of friends to tell the story. Everyone should have their own tribe!
Zing, zang, electricity, It….
Thank you for the privilege of reading this book! Well done!
Once again another fantastic book by Andrea! Loved this story. So sweet and slow burn. Lucas is the perfect book boyfriend! sigh, can’t wait for more by Andrea.
This was not your typically book from Andrea, but nevertheless, it was AMAZING. I Don’t is a stand a lone romantic comedy.
Whitney has been planning her wedding since she is 10. On the night her friends were taking her out on the town, she gets her life turned upside down and she is now questioning everything. When she runs into Lucas, an old friend who Whit had a crush on, she starts to question even more. When Lucas sees Whitney for the first time for years, his feelings for her comes back. After he learns why Whitney and him stop being friends, you know he’s hurt and feeling foolish.
The chemistry between Whitney and Lucas is immediate. “Zing. Zang. Electricity”. To quote directly from the book!
OMG I have never read a book that I wanted to turn into a movie so much before. Now dhn’t get me wrong, I’m the last person that usually loves a “wedding” themed book. I’m 44 and I can’t even remember the last wedding I attended.
I loved Whitney and Lucas, though for the first 1/3 of the book I wanted to give Whitney a nice shake. Nope, there wouldn’t have been a few seconds before the wedding would have been off, after what Trenton did.
Nope, no thought, I don’t care how pretty the dress was or how much money was spent.
Lucas though…Awww. He’s a kind of Magic Mike. He is absolutely perfect. I mean, he’s the kind of guy we all want. Sexy as hell, sweet and he’s studying to be a doctor.
Really, he couldn’t get more perfect, except that he does and even though he’s perfect he doesn’t feel too good to be true. Lucas is just the perfect guy. He does the nicest things from the very start. He doesn’t have a jerky bone in his body. I nominate him for my next book boyfriend.
I also nominate Jessi as the best BFF in any book. We all need friends like her who have your back at all times.
I loved all the laugh out loud moments.
Sheer perfection!
I loved everything about this book. The kickass friendships, the laugh out loud moments, the enviable chemistry between Whitney and Lucas. Each new part of the story pulled me deeper into their world and I didn’t want to leave. This will definitely be one of my new favorite book recommendations!
I Don’t is full of love, friendship, humor, and self discovery. Andrea writes the best best friends! They are there for you and keep you laughing but they also give it to you straight.
Whitney’s life is turned upside down with one incident. Lucas is doing what he needs to get himself through medical school. What happens when you walk through some mysterious door and find your old high school crush? Dance your way into their story and find out!
I Don’t had everything I love in a great read. Romcom, slow burn, second chance, sexy man (with a brain!), sweet but strong female, sassy BFF, puppies, and a road trip. Oh and a cancelled wedding and a chance meeting with an old high school crush. You name it, this book has it. The banter between Whitney & Lucas was fun and flirty and you feel the spark even while it’s just starting to ignite. Loved the secondary characters as much as the main. This book had humor and wit (and Whit LOL) and I enjoyed it from cover to cover.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Andrea Johnston is the queen of slow burn.
I Don’t is a sexy story of rediscovery so smoldering the pages will leave your fingers singed. Lucas is your every fantasy brought to words.
Johnston has a knack and talent for bring a unique twist on every trope she tackles and I Don’t is no exception. This is my favorite book of hers so far.
One of my favorite things to happen when I’m reading a book is for the story to surprise me. And this one did. I thought this was just going to a be a story about a woman who gets hurt and then realizes she loves a friend and they ride happily off into the sunset. I was wrong. And so glad I was.
This is the story of Whitney, a woman who has waited her whole life for her perfect wedding only to find that dream crumble around her as she catches her cheating fiance in the act. She goes for a girls night hoping to get him off her mind and figure out what she is going to do. They end up at a club with male strippers. And she gets a lap dance from her high school friend turned crush turned first big heartbreak, Lucas. His feelings of love towards her have never changed. As they reconnect as friends they start to see the truth in their own lives. This is not just a romance. Trust me there is plenty of that! But this is also a story of Whitney starting over. The life she thought she loved and was perfect was just a mirage. And she begins the journey to find herself and her own happiness. This story was awesome. I totally loved it. At first I was a little frusterated with Whitney who was having a hard time deciding if she wanted to still marry her fiance or not. I wanted to shake her and yell “he cheated on you!” But as the story unfolded I understood her thought process and feelings. And my heart broke for her. And that was the start of my bond with Whitney. As the story progressed I felt what she felt. This author is that good!
So go read it right now. It may just make you look at you in your life and what really is perfect for you.

Oh, did I love this story. I was full on giggling over Whitney and her set ways. But then again, I was full on laughing watching Lucas and Whitney FINALLY give in to their feelings that started back when they were 15. Was it easy? no. Was it hilarious to watch? Yes. Everything about the friends being involved to watching them FINALLY get together was just what I needed. I feel like Whitney discovered herself along this journey and that made her relationship and the years worth of feelings for Lucas even stronger. Due to the friendship they had first, this made their romantic relationship stronger and Lucas was able to woo Whitney with things he wanted to back in the day.
I loved everything about this story and am so glad I was able to read it.
Whitney & Lucas are your next #relationshipgoals couple. Between Magic Mike, Lighting Strikes, and love that doesn’t go away this is the absolute best book of the year. The drama at the beginning of the book, started the book off so fast I never wanted to put it down, I was so intrigued I had to find out what happened. I loved how much Jessi was a best friend to Whitney and never gave up on that while Whitney found herself. Jessi is a one in a million friend you would always want by your side. Not to mention a hot stripper friend, Johan! This book is romantic but you can’t forget about the sexy scenes.
Absolutely loved I Don’t! Whitney and Lucas were awesome characters. Even though there was a moment of wanting to shake Whitney, she finally got to her scenes and Lucas was so easy going and didn’t give up!! This is definitely a favorite read for 2018!

Another great novel from Andrea. You will fall in love with Lucas and Whit. Loved how they “met” again. Loved the road trip. Loved all the friends. I love books with great side characters. Loved the wooing. It was sweet and brought back high school memories. Great book!!
Andrea has done it again, she’s still a new to me author I haven’t read her earlier work but have them all one clicked.
She did a fantastic job writing this story, pulls you in from the beginning with every chapter leaving you wanting more.
I Don’t is a rom-com about Whit and Lucas, Whit has been planning her dream wedding since she was 10 years old with one week to go before her wedding her world gets turned upside down with the help of her best friend, some puppies, Lucas and a road trip she learns a lot.
