Styx can’t wait to make Mae truly his. But, how is he going to be able to do that if he can’t bring himself to speak in front of everyone. Mae doesn’t care that Styx isn’t able to speak his wedding vowels. She knows that he is her and that she is truly his.
I loved getting to see into Styx and Mae’s relationship again. The way that Styx just wanted to do something for Mae like saying his wedding vowels. You can just see the level of love that he really truly has for her.
Here it is! A Hangmen wedding!
‘Your dream. The boy you met behind the fence.’
Styx and Mae. The couple that started it all.
This novella was perfection, utter perfection (and it also made me remember how much I love Ky too!)
But that little nugget at the end about whose book is next. OHMYGAWD!
“Today I would marry the boy who had pulled me from my deepest despair. Today, I would become Mrs. Mae Nash . . . . . . at long last, I would be home.”
I loved this little novella! This series just keeps getting better and better. This wedding just showed a different side to River. And I loved it! His love for Mae was undeniable.
And I love how we find out the sex of the baby!!!
I can’t wait for the next book!
“Forever to keep. Forever mine. And mine, forever yours.”
What a friggen treat.
I loved this little novella of Styx and Mae’s wedding!
I think I speak for all the lovers of the series when I say that this was such a heartwarming novella! It was so refreshing to read about the gang and not have so many shocking, crazy moments. Styx and Mae are one of my favorite couples of the series, so it wasn’t hard to fall head first into this story.
Tillie lays it all out in the description, so I will just keep my review short and sweet. It is a wonderful story that HAS TO BE READ IN THE PUBLISHED ORDER. I see you… yeah, you… the one that is trying to read this right after the first book! Don’t do it!
I mean, ultimately it is your decision but you’re setting yourself up for some major spoilers. Don’t say I didn’t warn you…
4 stars!

I absolutely LOVED this novella about Styx & Mae! It was everything I hoped it would be & more!!
Every touch they shared, heated glance they tossed at one another, the words they exchanged… it was all so damn beautiful. They still remain my favorite Hades Hangmen couple. Cannot wait to see the birth of their little one in the future!
This novella is definitely a MUST-READ for fans of the series! Now, the unbearable wait for Sia’s story, Crux Untamed, begins… *sigh*
Absolutely love Styx, he by far is my fav character and this novella about Mae & Styx wedding was Phenomenal. I love how much Mae knows how much Styx loves her without words and at the alter Styx slaughtered me. I can’t get enough of this series and can’t wait to read what is going to happen next
Loved this surprise novella of Styx & Mae’s wedding, this book just reinforces why Styx will always be my number 1 hangman. The love between the two just oozes through Tillie’s writing once again.
Brilliant, but then this whole series has just been outstanding!!
I just luv Styx.
This book is just great. It’s so good to get more of Styx and Mae. I luv there story yes it’s heart breaking and they have both dealt with so really horrible stuff. But to see them now you would think they had. Styx is still filling the pain of not being able to talk when he wants to. But it’s never mattered to Mae she luvs him for how he was. There luv for each other grows everyday Mae isn’t the girl she once was she is so strong now and that cause of Styx. He has made her see life in a different way and she has done the same for him. He is still the strong alpha prez but he is her River and he alway will be. They have gone from being 2 young kids and the sweet kiss to 2 crazy in luv adults that can’t be apart. I just luv this series i can’t get enough of it. I m dying for more.
A quick and sweet addition to the Hades Hangmen series. Perfect for any and all Hangmen fans.
I do, babe is a novel narrating the long-awaited marriage of Mae and Styx. It has few chapters, but it was a beautiful addition to the Hangmen series. Here, Styx stole the scene. His frustration at not being able to pronounce the votes was touching. Besides the fact that he wants to give Mae this experience, we see that it was very important for him to be able to say his votes in front of everyone, to be able to declare himself to her in a loud voice. Ky as the trainee was comical.
During the wedding, the long awaited moment of the votes was the romantic touch in the midst of this dark plot. Styx took off his shame and embraced the opportunity to show Mae how much he loves her. The president with a bad reputation did not mind showing weakness.
Mae can not believe that she will finally marry the man she loves. The scene of her seeing herself as a bride was beautiful. The end, with the “honeymoon” on the beach was cute. Styx and Mae were able to unite their stories and found a way to live happily ever after, even if the surroundings are darker.
This novella was perfect and I loved it so much, I think I may be a little biased as Styx and Mae have always be my favorite and I think always be, maybe because they started this whole series but fantastic novella.
It was such a great buildup to the wedding and to see how in love Styx and Mae still were and how their story was progressing. This novella showed us a softer side I think to Styx and to see that he may be tough but he still had struggles.
This was a beautiful written novella and couldn’t have wanted more for their wedding and honeymoon. Thank you Tillie Cole for giving us this insight to their special day
A very cute little story of Mae and Styx’s wedding. A sweet and quick read. The Hangmen mute got married to his wolf eye girl with a little of the sisters and Ky thrown in there. Some smexy time and some info on baby Nash. A fangirl’s HEA 🙂
Short novella about Styx and Mae’s wedding. As the wedding approaches Styx is waging a war with self. He needs to speak the vows, yet its eating him alive , that he can’t. His struggle and frustration is so centrepoint in the story. Mae is as always understanding and patient . She loves him completely , no matter what !
A sweet filler story that had to be told
I was so glad when I heard that Tillie Cole would release this novella. I think it was a very nice touch to the series. Next to all the mayhem and darkness, it is nice to have something so sweet and beautiful. Styx and Mae are the first couple in this series and I loved how their relationship developed over the years. I also enjoyed Styx interaction with Ky, makes me want to read his book again. Also the scenes between Mae and her sisters were beautiful and very touching. It is obvious from this novella that Styx would do anything for Mae, and I wish them nothing but the best. I can’t wait for the next book to release. I’ll probably reread this one a couple of times until then.
