Romance Writers of America® Golden Heart® finalist A red-hot ugly-duckling love storyShe has a problem relaxing with men Frumpy wallflower Hannah Oliver is nearly thirty and has a serious self-image problem. Growing up in her centerfold mother’s shadow and being raised by her pious grandparents has left her so self-conscious about her matronly, D-cup figure she gets tongue-tied around … tongue-tied around good-looking guys. So when Hannah discovers her fiancé/employer boinking her roommate, she’s not only devastated—she’s unemployed.
He’s got a problem fending off women
Pharmaceutical CEO Jordan Calder has a huge image problem too—his professional image. Most guys would kill to be publicly proclaimed a world-class lover, but other men don’t share his dark, shameful past. The only thing women have ever wanted Jordan for is what he can give them in and out of bed. So when his grandfather drags dowdy Hannah into his office as an executive assistant candidate, Jordan hires the mousey woman on the spot.
Could hypnosis be a solution?
After miraculously landing her plum new position, sexually frustrated Hannah resorts to hypnosis to boost her self-confidence with men, hoping to attract another mate. Unfortunately, a post-hypnotic suggestion compels her to kiss her sexy playboy boss who she then stupidly falls for—in and out of bed. Despair induces her to use similar hypnotic principles on him—in the form of subliminal messages—to convince the man she loves that he wants a happy-ever-after with her. But as everyone knows, desperate measures and deception usually spell disaster.

Great book.
Irresistible characters and a delightful STEAMY romance that will keep you wanting more
This fun romp made you crave further stories for the secondary charachters.
My first read by L.L. Kellogg… I enjoyed this well written story and characters. I found it to be a refreshingly light and witty romance. I liked the realised phycology, but not the ugly duckling description. Look forward to to reading more from this author.
Loved this book! I enjoyed both of the major characters and their sweet love story. I immediately went back to Amazon to get another of the series.
The characters in this book deserve an award as does LK. Humor with a great story will always bring devoted fans!
I think the premise of this book is new to the world of romance — at least, I had not heard of it before. It was good, and a page turner!
Love this book. Am reading it for the second time!
Loved this book
Cute.
lived the book very well written
I love love love books that star the non classic beauty. Or should i say doesn’t meet societies standards of beauty. But this book is super cute and very readable. I was a little peeved at Hannahs unethical actions to have JC fall for her but it all worked out in the end.
This was a really good book. Would love to see how Callie and Bryne worked out.
I couldn’t put this book down what a great love story and original. Steamy but not over the top I highly recommend it
Awesome book
4.5 stars. I fell in love with these characters and while, the book has what every other story has, it was different. I can’t put my finger on what, but it was a true love story that did not drag on and had different pieces to it that I thoroughly enjoyed. Also, not trying to give anything away in the review, just enjoyed this as it seemed original …

Great Read! Every emotion possible surfaces somewhere in this book. If you like to get into thought processes and how they effect reality you will love this book! Enjoyed the push the characters put forth. Mixture of results.
Happy Reading 😉
Such a good read. The storyline was great. For once you got two couples in love. And thank God one is seniors. Something that writers don’t write about to much.
Really different..heartwarming..good mental excercises..
