At 3:30, my aunt showed up to explain how the world really operates.
By 5:00, I was on my way to Hybrid Academy: a school for people like me.
At 7:30, I was walking into my dorm for the first time and discovered that Hybrid Academy isn’t so unlike high school. There are the popular witches, the dreamy warlocks, the shy magicians, and yes, even the shifters.

Book review of Hybrid Academy: Year One by L.C. Mortimer …
This was a fun and interesting read. I liked that Max was comfortable with the fact the she was non-magical despite Magical family like her Grandmother. We meet her Aunt Erin as well when trouble hits home again!
Max ends up at the Hybrid Academy where her Aunt Erin attended to learn more about her dual nature. She also hope’s to learn magic!
How will this all end up, read it and see!
I received this as an Advance Reader Copy from Booksprout with the hopes I would like it and review it.
Book review of Hybrid Academy: Year Two by L.C. Mortimer …
I was thrown off my the POV switch at the beginning of this book, to Maddison, Max’s Grandmother. This is really the first we “meet” her and I don’t remember her name so I was pretty confused. Max spends the summer with her Aunt Erin and enjoys her summer then heads back to Hybrid Academy!
Back at the Academy the wild ride begins. Three guys all want her, the feeling is mutual but there seems to be a tug of war as far as the guys are concerned, not being good sharers. The big bad is coming … will Max and gang prevail?

Book review of Hybrid Academy: Year Three by L.C. Mortimer …
This Book finds Max searching for her Aunt Erin after Erin makes a visit to Alicia.
The wild ride continues. Still trying to figure out Romance with 3 shifters and trying to save the world is A LOT! The big bad is coming … will Max and gang prevail?
This is a well written book with wonderful world building and characters with depth.

Hi.

And this is my story.
A very good read. I liked all 3 books. A great series. I hope there is more to come. 4*.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the complete collection of paranormal fantasy books in an academy setting. Except in this one, our heroine is essentially shanghaied into attending by her aunt. Things just get stranger from there.
This is a collection of three stories, all well written and easy to read. The characters are well developed as is the setting, with a good dose of detail to make everything real. I really enjoyed the characters, particularly our heroine who finds herself in a tough spot, but manages to do what needs to be done. The plots of the stories are engaging with plenty of twists to keep things interesting. Overall, an excellent collection of stories which provides plenty of entertainment.
Highly recommended.

First let me state that I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review.
Year One – Wow!!! Max’s grandmother is kidnapped. She learns that her life is secret, & she isn’t fully human. She’s a lonely, young woman until she goes to the academy, & here she makes new friends.
Year Two – Wow!!! Another great mystery for Max to figure out. She’s got a mysterious roommate, her grandmother is still missing, New professors to watch out for, students being turned into hamsters, and danger also.
Year Three – Wow!!! What a gr8 way to end this story. So much going on. Vampires at the academy, the big mystery of who is after Max and her grandmother, and danger. I won’t tell anymore because I don’t want to give anything away. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up
Year one I love Max Henry and Kiera. They are a great set of characters. I can’t wait to see if Max finds her Grandmother
Year two Max is back after a great break with her Aunt Erin. And The Academy starts with infestation Lol someone has turned the students into hamsters. Max and friends start to find out what Maddison’s book really means to the bad guys and her awesome grandma gets away. I really love Kitty Henry and human Henry he is just so sweet. New professors new classes and new chaos leads the way for Max and friends this semester. Also we have a surprising friend and confidante at the end.
Year Three starts out with a memory of Max’s parents and what happened to them. Also it has a shocker beginning and a stunning bad guy. We see a lot happen but it flows really well. Year Three had a great conclusion to it and I loved Max getting even with Alicia such a funny scene. The Hybrid Academy will be reread many many times
