Great characters you can only imagine first day on the job and there’s a kidnapping
This entire series is very good. Policewoman trying to make it in a man’s world.
I guess I’m not totally tuned-into British cop stories. Ms. Redman makes me grit my teeth and I don’t find her sympathetic (it’s her strange attitude to most things). Sorry but I won’t be reading more by this author.
This was an easy-to-read detective series about new partners on the force. And it followed similar, cozy plot lines like other series I have read before, and so I haven’t decided if it is distinct enough to continue reading. I liked what I read, but it was a bit predictable. I’m planning to read the 2nd book in the series, and so stay tuned for …
Did not like it. Too much going off subject and never seemed to find out who did what.
Good reading! Didn’t figure out who did it until the end.
Love every thing Kate Redmond writes…
I LOVE Celina Grace—especiallyher Kate Redmond series.
Read the whole series of books (12) in less than a week!
Very well crafted mystery. Lots of suspects and the answer was a surprise.
I’m not big on books that take place outside the US but this is written as it could be anywhere. I will read follow up books. Enjoy the characters.
I liked the book entertaining
Did not tell about how the parents were when charlie was returned to them. Just jumped to cops in a bar
This is a middle of the road British mystery. The plot is decent, but it is hard to like the parents of the baby or the protagonist. It’s an OK quick read.
I thought it was fast moving and entertaining.
Complex situations and emotions handled well.
I’ll be reading it again!
The outcome surprised me
IT was great
A very believable character that develops as the plot develops and a good mystery with a twist at the end that was unexpected. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
