more
I’ve read so many books I can’t remember what I liked about it.
First in the Kate Redman series and I’m ready for another so let the binge reading begin! Characters were good with an interesting plot that never got too gory, scary, or frustrating. I was able to figure it out about half-way in, but still enjoyed the story, and didn’t lose interest because of the overall twists and turns. Did end a bit …
great read. realistic
Good one
I enjoy Characters who are working in a Police type job, in other countries.
Just a light little mystery, but entertaining.
Excellent!
I love anything by this author!!
I have read other Kate Redman mysteries that I liked better. This is a story about a kidnapped baby,a dead nanny and and a detective with a sad past. It was interesting but isort offiguredout too soon and then lost interest
‘This “first of the series” Kate Redman book was another delightful book to read! I enjoyed learning more about the beginnings of the main chapters of this series as much as I was interested in the well developed plot! This was most definitely yet another “I couldn’t put the book down” until I finished it!
First in the Kate Redman series, this book draws you into Kate’s world and a frightening crime involving a missing baby. Definitely a page-turner!
New author for, me I’m hooked , going back for more.
I liked the story, but……… Throughout the story, the fate of the missing baby seems to be of no concern. The two or three weeks that the story spans is focused on finding the kidnapper. Why are they not more concerned about finding the baby?
Great who-done-it!
I enjoyed this book very much! I did not anticipate the twist at the end that revealed the culprit, not nearly as early in the book as I usually do figure out “who done it”.
Not great
The character of the detective was well- developed. The book showed how our pasts can haunt us well into adulthood and affect our relationships at home and at work. A really good read.
Enjoyed the drama and storyline. Good (not wonderful) characters
