I enjoyed this book. A little skeptical at first having never read this author before, but was pleasantly surprised. Nice detective story with twists. Good read.
I liked this book – the first in a Kate Redman series. Kate is realistic in dealing with her regret of having given her baby away for adoption while, at the same time, trying to save a kidnapped baby. All the characters were strong and appealing although not perfect. A good read. I’m looking forward to reading book 2.
I did not know who did it until near the end. Enjoyed reading the book.
I love this series and the characters!
This book grabbed my attention from the first chapter, and kept me involved throughout. Told from more than one character’s perspective, the author managed to keep everybody’s story line authentic. Loved it!
Recommendation is to AVOID this book. It would probably fall under psychological thriller because there is some mention of mental health. As this is the first book in the series, it should pull you in to read more. The black and white of the cover is a prelude to the lackluster shine of the plot. Although characters are introduced, much more could …
Enjoyed it very much! Will read more Kate Redman mysteries!
got me on the lst page!
Kate Redman at her best – a fast pace mystery that has you wishing you could help Kate (sometimes to save her from herself). Such an inspiring character – dedicated and driven.
Celina Grace always has a page turner. Her characters are well drawn and action exciting.
Great series with Kate Redmond as the main character. Start with Hushabye and go thru the series.
Great story
Good read. Liked the characters.

Another excellent Kate Redman story.
It was hard to put down. You wanted to know what happened to Charlie Fullman.
A female detective investigates the abduction of a celebrity’s baby.
Moved a little slowly in a repetitive way but Still enjoyable.
Good Read!
I have read many of the Kate Redmond books and have enjoyed all of them. I like the characters and the events are often challenging but she works well with her fellow officers and the action keeps one turning the pages quickly.
