Decent mystery with some interesting twists and surprising conclusion.
The characters were less than exciting… the stoic detective who refuses she has any feelings, combined with the rugged small town sheriff is getting a bit tiresome. Maybe the earlier books in this series were better.

This book, Hush Now Baby, is definitely a page turner!! .. I could not stop reading it and did read it in one sitting. Wow!! .. Seriously thrilling and does bring tears to your eyes. First book by this author I have read and it makes me want to read more from the series.
I like this author very much, I’ve read most of the books in this series. The main character, Sloan Monroe is very engaging. I’m reluctant to read some mystery/thrillers, as they keep me from sleeping, but Cheryl isn’t over graphic in her books. I highly recommend this book, just started the next one in the series.
Grafton and Brown together? Can’t do better.
Though I continue to enjoy the characters in the Sloane Monroe series, I feel the books were more interesting when set in Utah.
Several murders, kidnapped baby, suicide, crimes to be solved, lots to read in this book.
Love all of her books
I absolutely loved all the Sloan Munro books
Could not put this book down! Didn’t guess who the guilty one was until the very end. Sometimes far fetched and so many characters it was hard to keep track of them all, but still a great read.
Love the wri
A tragic touching story
Not my favorite book of this series. Difficult topic. I like the characters though.
Made me want to read more by this author.
