She left me the week before our wedding.Said I wasn’t “husband material.”Actually, I’d have to agree with my ex on that matter…because I’m probably better off alone. But everything changed for me the day I met a mysterious beauty sketching on the beach.Giselle… beach fairy who danced away with the dawn.
I searched until I found her again.
And now I can’t let her go… because maybe I am husband material after all.

HUSBAND MATERIAL is dream-worthy, melt your hearts perfect! Hitting everything mark of a supreme read! Trust me when I say it’s 100 times better than a traditional novella! There is clearly nothing Raine Miller can do wrong!
Now you can fall madly in love with Gage and Giselle too!! It’s a one-click wonder in my book
4 Stars!
Gage Danielson is a wealthy architect who grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. He spends his days working & surfing, and lives in a beach house on Folly Beach. After two years living together his fiancé leaves him with nothing but a note a week before the wedding saying he isn’t husband material. Even though he’s completely blindsided he comes to the realization he settled for someone that wasn’t right for him. He now wonders if he’s meant to be alone and single. Maybe marriage wasn’t in the cards for him.
Then he meets a gorgeous, mysterious woman named Giselle sketching on the beach. She’s free spirited and like a breath of fresh air. She’s unexpected and exciting. They spend one passionate unforgettable night together and then she’s gone. He knows nothing about her including how to find her. They shared an intense physical connection, and had a wonderful time together. She brought a light into his life, and he wanted to see her again. He never expected to find someone like her. Soon they are addicted to one another and falling hard. Will he realize how much she means to him before it’s too late? Maybe he just might be husband material after all.
This was a wonderful, sexy beach romance about finding the one your meant to be with. When you find your person everything just clicks and falls into place. It’s about taking a chance on love, and following your heart. Husband Material is the 3rd book in the Left At The Alter series, a collaboration of six New York Times Bestselling Authors. It’s a fun, fabulous, steamy novella I really enjoyed!
Gage’s fiance called off the wedding by way of a hate-filled letter describing all of his faults. She accuses him of not being husband material and will be alone for the rest of his life. Gage thinks she might be right.
Out of all the women Gage has dated, he’s not once felt a special spark for anyone. He resigned himself into thinking marriage is just about finding someone compatible. Only Gage and Cassidy were not so compatible. He actually feels relief when she calls the wedding off despite how badly she did it.
The last thing Gage expected was to meet a mysterious French woman on the beach who will turn his world upside down. When Giselle disappears after their one night together, Gage goes on a frantic search for her.
Gage and Giselle’s story was a refreshingly fun summer read with hints of a whimsical and romantic love. For a short novella, this felt like a full length novel.
Their affair may have started out fast but the author wrote this in a way that let you get to know both characters. The pacing was perfect. I hope to find out if the rest of the Left at the Alter series is similar.
Husband Material is book 3 in the Left at the Altar Series but it certainly can be read as a stand-alone I know this because as of now I haven’t read the previous 2 books but that’s about to change because I love the concept of this story. This is a beautifully written love story about two people not looking or wanting to find love it’s full of passion and it’s so positive no angst in this short adorable read.
Gage is spending some time at the beach surfing he needs to get his head together after being cheated on and then dumped by his fiancé a couple of weeks before the wedding and it’s only when he gets this time alone does he realise this is all for the best but a chance meeting on the beach with a beautiful artist makes him wonder maybe it isn’t him maybe he was just with the wrong girl.
This story isn’t about searching for love it’s about love finding you and sometimes that happens when we least expect it. Raine Miller has once again shown us why she is the queen of romance with this short summer or winter (depending on what part of the world you are in) read.
5.0 Star Review Husband Material (Left At The Altar 3#)
Raine Miller’s writing style is effortless and she had me riveted to this book from start to finish. Although a novella Ms. Miller still manages to give us a complete story with depth and characters that you can relate to. Husband Material was well written and flowed well.
This was a fun, quick read. Neither Gage or GIselle are looking for love and yet through fate they meet and connect on many levels.
I really liked Gage and Giselle and would love more of them. Their chemistry sizzled and the banter between then them was humorous. This book made me smile throughout my read and if you are looking for a good romance, then one click now.
