Two years of bitter loneliness have passed. The woman I love is now the woman I hate. I lose myself in beautiful women every night and tell myself that fortune reading was nothing but a scam. But then her mother asks me to marry her. I say yes. Now this woman will be mine forever. Maybe the prophecy really is true. I’m committing to a woman that will never love me in return. But it was better to … in return.
But it was better to be her husband than allow someone else to take my place. It was better to conquer her body every night than be lonely with someone else.
Much better.

Wonderful Author
Exciting and captivating. Kept my interest in the characters. Anxious to read the next book in the series.
Hades and Sophia story is one of the best story Penelope has written. This story has kept me on edge wanted to know what’s going to happen next. The relationship between Hades and Sophia is interesting and the chemistry between them is fantastic.
This series is different from the prior series of Penelope Sky. I think that raises the intensity. Hades and Sophia obviously care deeply for each other, which in the past it was the woman wanting more, Sophia holds all the cards. She tries to fight her feelings but she can’t. When conversations between Damien and Hades discuss the Gypsy, could she have been right? Or was the Gypsy guiding him if he didn’t change his ways he would never be loved. That memory could be the curse of this couple, do they overcome or not, you will have to read the series to find out. Another amazing series by a great author I received an advanced copy for an honest review
Hades is a hardened Drug Lord, people fear him. Not Sophia though, with her sassy mouth and independence. But after basically being forced t Hades, she finds he’s not such a bad husband, she doesn’t know how much he has always loved her And she has a way to sooth him like no one else. But there is trouble in their future and it’s just beginning!
5 Stars are not enough. Hades and Sofia’s saga continues to truly packs an emotional punch. From the minute I started reading to the second that I read the last page the journey was filled with angst, turmoil, hurt, deception and heartfelt responses. Hades reaction to the marriage surprised me and Penelope Sky wrote him brilliantly. I could feel every sentiment and every devastating acceptance. I cannot wait for more in this series.
This book had my attention from the first page. The more I get into this series the more sucked in I am. Yet again you are left with another cliffhanger that has you craving the next book in the series to find out what happens next. Penelope never disappoints!
Penelope all your books are great. I loved it. Sofia truly loves Hades but because of the Curse she can’t admit she does. I wanted to cry along with Hades when he found out Maddox took Sofia. All Damien’s fault even after his taking and torturing when back on selling the drugs. Poor Hades.
I so ready for the next book.
This is the second book in this series. It picks up with Sophie needing to get married and Hades is ready to do the job! These two are both independent and stubborn as h*’ll. He is a true alpha male used to getting his way and obeyed without hesitation. She wants to be loved not owned…or does she really want both? Will the second time around get them both what they need or will the gypsy’s fortune telling come true? You will have to check it out and see. It is a page turner. Their story keeps you on the edge of your seat. Plenty of chemistry, heat, lust, hidden agendas and more. A definite must have read. Job well done Ms. Sky! Loved this book. Definetly worth the wait! I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance copy of the book from the author.
Highly anticipated waiting game is over. Drama right from the get go add only Penelope knows how to do. Couldn’t put it down. Love this series.
Wow I must say that this book was definitely worth the wait. In this book Hades loyalty and love has no bound. also I’m still having mixed feelings about Sofia. But I’m super excited to see what else is in store for this series that cliffhanger left me eager for more. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
