She walked away from me five years ago.She ran and took my heart with her.Now I want it back, and hers too.She can tell me no.She can try to hide. She can take her time. But I’m a man on my knees.Birdie Beaumont will be mine again. My first lie had been to save us.My second lie had been to save him.My third lie broke me.I still love him just as much as I did when I left him.But I can’t have him.Not … as much as I did when I left him.
But I can’t have him.
Not after what I did.
Not after keeping it from him all this time.
Winter Morrison will never forgive me for what I did.

Hurricane Hearts was the first book in the Storm MC Reloaded series by Nina Levine.
It had been a long while (and hundreds of books) since I had read any Storm MC books so this was like a stand-alone for me and totally can be read as a stand-alone for those that haven’t read the series.
Winter Morrison was ex-military and a loyal member of the Storm MC. He was still lining over his lost love, never able to give his heart away again.
Birdie Beaumont was a business owner; which was how she kept busy. She dated but no one ever lived up to her one true love, so first dates were her norm. She had walked away five years ago with secrets and the intention of never looking back.
Levine brought us up to speed quickly with Winter and Birdie. They ran into each other unexpectedly after five long years. Their chemistry was off the charts and this time Winter refused to let her go, but Birdie had other plans. Levine took us through the unraveling of the many layers between Winter and Birdie while also adding Winter’s family saga as a secondary storyline; which added depth and dimension. The MC took a backseat but appeared to be setting it up for the next book in the series.
All in all, it was a quick and enjoyable read. War of Hearts is next but I would love to have Max’s full story in a spin off as well.
Winter and Birdie had an intense relationship that ended with broken hearts for both of them. Five years later, Winter is with Storm MC and back to get the woman that belongs with him. Birdie is hiding secrets about her relationship with Winter. She has never gotten over him and is still in love with him. Will Winter be able to forgive her for the past? This was a heartbreaking, all the feels beautiful story about life, love, and second chances.
Birdie Beaumont is having to confront her past. Loved her mom – she was the one person who took my attention away momentarily. She’s there to help Birdie get that chance. The author knew the right moment to pull my attention back to what was really important. Winter Morrison wants to grab the bull by the horns in order to get his second chance. But the thing about second chances, they don’t always run smoothly. I’m not a fan of his mode of transportation but if he came with it, I just might change my mind.
Our author made it very easy, maybe I should say made it hard, to get lost in the world she has created. The problem wasn’t putting the book down but finding the perfect stopping point – I couldn’t find it. Part of what made it hard was all the push and pull going on. Even though this was part of an MC series, this story was all about our couple. It’s about the pain they’re both feeling and wanting to see if they find their happy place – preferably together. We have an ending where there’s no period. It’s like we’re held in place waiting to take our next step. It will be interesting to see where that step is going to take us.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
I’m not a big fan of second-chance romance. That’s the only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars and that’s just my personal opinion. I’ve read this story because I’ve read most of the Storm series and I couldn’t pass on Winter. I was glad it started as ‘new’, as in the now and not in the past. Their past is important in the story and also the reason why they weren’t together but it didn’t make it hard to read. I love how they fall so easily into a relationship for the second time but they still struggle.
Nina Levine gives us another perfect MC love story. Nina always writes the most perfect Alphas and sassy strong heroines. I admire that she never makes them door mats.
Ladies when you start this book be prepared to not put it down. Trust me from the Prologue Birdie and Winter grab you into their world.
Their story is a second chance love story. Trust for all the reasons I thought they broke up those weren’t it, not even close. My heart broke for them and all the time they lost but esp for Winter.
Winter is definitely gonna be a favourite Hero this year.
He loves fiercely, he adores Birdie and moves heaven and earth for her. He loves his family and would bend backwards for them. Watching him battle all that he does and at the same time fight for Birdie was beautiful.
You cant help but fall inlove with him.
These two are undoubtedly meant for each other. Their chemistry and love is damn strong. They won’t give up on each other this time around.
I adored some side characters and wanted to strangle Winter’s Sister-In-Law. She was the devil in carnit.
Grab this book now I promise you won’t wanna miss this…
Enjoy!!!!!
I seem to when I can jump into this authors’s books thanks to her stories. It had also been a minute since reading a MC so this one reminded me why I do so like to read them. Winter and Birdie’s story takes you into their world with this one going down for the count. You will get both sides with the story consuming you. This one will also grab ahold of your emotional strings and not tug but rip them and wrap them around them as you hold your breath on where is this going. Glad to not have missed it.
This book was unputdownable!!!!
It’s been quite a while since i’ve read such a heart wrenching story like this, that the writing was just so good that it swept me away and almost drowned me in the sea of hurt, pain and suffering that Winter and Birdie put each other through, that after all that plays out between them I was still able to love both of their characters, and prayed for them to get their HEA is some major achievement. Nina has written such an amazing love story that will not only grip your heart in a vice and squeeze it hard, it will show you that two people that are meant to be together can overcome anything together.
Winter is such a great character, I just loved him for how he made me swoon from all the passion and love he had for Birdie, and for how determined he was that he just wouldn’t give up on what his heart wanted. Birdie even though she is often far too stubborn for her own good at times, is still a woman that I could easily connect with so much so that I could feel everything she goes through, and my heart broke right along with hers.
This is a beautiful story of a deep unbreakable love that is now one of my favorites from this author!
Nina Levine never fails to amaze me with how she evokes more emotion with her words with each page written. With Hurricane Hearts I didn’t think I was ever going to be able to pull myself together again!
Birdie hides behind many things at the beginning of this book to distance herself from her home town and everyone in it. When she’s finally comes home she manages to keep up her barriers but when she sees Winter truly suffer she knows she can’t let him face that alone, but the guilt she is carrying from there past is eating her alive.
Can she still have Winter if she reveals all?
Can they truly move on from the mistakes she made?
Winter has only space for one woman in his heart and Birdie has owned that part for most of his life,
but she left,
she broke him,
But he loves her anyway!
When fighting his way through the hardest time of his life she steps up, she gives him her all only problem is she takes it away just as quickly.
He hates her,
He loves her,
Can they truly battle this Hurricane together!
The rawness of Nina’s words slayed my soul, she reached depths with these characters that twisted me apart but did it while making me fall in love with both Winter and Birdie. I felt there individual pain but when that pain combined it could only bring on a Hurricane I wasn’t sure they could both survive!
A phenomenal read from Nina that finally quenched my always over whelming need for her fantastic words I’m always guaranteed a 5 star read!
Wow, and I mean that! I love Storm men in general. Can’t help it, it’s a weakness (but I’m ok with that). And even though you don’t really get the full force of his Storm-ness from the onset, you just know. So there’s that. But let me tell you, I LOVE Winter. Straight from the get go, I love him, I melted for him, just completely fell head over heels for him. He’s all that and a bag of chips (ya getting my love for him?!?!). And Birdie, you can’t help but feel for her, want her to get past her secrets and wrestle her demons and get her happy ever after with the love of her life. Their story is filled with heartbreak and sadness, but also deep love and protectiveness. You can’t help feeling embroiled in their world, laughing with them, crying when they feel broken, and cheering when you want them to find their happy. Nina Levine blew this one away!! Definitely a must have!!!
Be still my heart.
Winter is how I love my alpha to be written. He’s bossy but not overbearing. I love the fight in him, pursuing the hell out of Birdie, she didn’t stand a chance not that she put up much of a fight. You can see how much love there is between him and Birdie, even though they have been apart for so long.
I’m a huge fan of second chance romance. What tore them apart and what might bring them back together. I got highly emotional when the lie surfaced. I don’t think I could have been as forgiving as Birdie with how Winter reacted.
This was a great read.
Finally…more Storm MC from Nina Levine! It’s been too long and I missed them, but they’re back in all their alpha-sexy-bossy glory!! This one is a second chance romance that was intense and raw. The depth of emotions these characters felt grabbed me and took me right along with them for the ride!
Birdie is keeping secrets from their past, secrets that could change everything. Winter is all alpha male, bossy, protective, and sexy as hell…Nina Levine excels at writing this kind of man! Birdie is fighting the attraction and love she holds for Winter, but Winter is determined to win her back and not let her get away a second time. “You can run and you can try to hide, but eventually you will be mine again.”
The Storm MC aspect in this book is minimal, but it sounds like there’s more to come. This story focuses more on Winter and Birdie’s relationship which is incredibly powerful, sweet, passionate, sexy, heartbreaking, and touching. A perfect romance that had me sighing, swooning and at the end…smiling!
OMG! I’m so glad I waited for this one. Hurricane Hearts is a whirlwind of emotions from the worst sadness to the most gripping love you will ever feel. Nina Levine has captured the essence of every emotion with this book.
Winter and Birdie’s story is raw and gritty, overwhelming intense and has a deep seated love that will never die. There is a desperation about them that grabs you to the point of pain for the heartache they have endured, and then there is the presences of to soul mates bound together with a love so strong that even years apart from wrong choices and decisions couldn’t destroy. The War has been brewing and this fight will test their limits, push them to breaking point and test the very foundation of their connection. But neither of them are prepared to give up without a fight.
Nina Levine has tapped into the vulnerabilities of both these characters without taking away the the dominant alpha male side and strength of an independent woman.
In this book we see the calm before the Storm, the eye of the hurricane, the destruction that ensues from that hurricane and the beauty of what is rebuilt with time, perseverance and an undying love.
Hurricane Hearts is superbly written. Nina Levine is an Author that knows how to draw you in, leave you wanting more, but also satisfying that need for a really good book. Her writing skills are second to none and she will always be a go to author for me.
Hurricane Hearts is the perfect title for this story about Birdie Beaumont and Winter Morrison, two people who had lost their way, then met up again. This is so much more than a second chance romance and it truly does make a big impact on you, the reader, as you discover their story.
This book is filled to the brim with emotions, everything from fear to anger to exhilaration and happiness to grief. The raw passion at times is extremely potent. The words woven together to create this amazing story are just so powerful and thought provoking. Like this example, the words aren’t fancy but the meaning is anything but simple and accurate.
“…All I can think is that you’re so unhappy with yourself that all you do is look for flaws in other people to make yourself feel better. It’s time you did some work on yourself so that you can start appreciating the people in your life.”
I thoroughly enjoyed both lead characters, Birdie and Winter, and for many reasons; they are both full of energy and very giving, they are both hard working yet fun to be around and they are sexy as all get out. However the most outstanding thing about them is how real they are, it feels like you almost know them as actual people in your own life. They become real on the pages of this book because they are so easy to relate to and like.
Another mind blowing story by this very talented author who never ceases to amaze me with her brilliant mind.
While Hurricane Hearts fits into the Storm MC world, I think that this book can actually be read on a stand alone basis so don’t be deterred if you’ve not read any of her Storm books.
Nina has been releasing chapters for this book via her newsletter, however, I stayed away form the chapters, wanting to read it as a whole. I have seen everyone get really excited about the chapters that have come out and I can now see why; I loved this book.
This book sucked me in right from the beginning and I devoured it on one sitting. This was Winter and Birdie’s book and I just loved this couple. This was a second chance romance, so they had a big previous history with each other and one of the reasons I love this trope is because you get an emotional connection between the characters instantly and Winter and Birdie’s connection with each other was undeniable right from the get go. What I particularly loved about this story, was that it felt relatable. I could literally feel and understand everything that this couple went through together and apart. This was a great, emotional read and I can’t wait for more to come.
I was provided with a copy of this book from the Publisher; there was no inducement or obligation and I opted to leave a review.
Wow Nina just blew me away with this story. I’ve been waiting for Winter and Birdie’s book and devoured each page. Their story was so raw and emotional and they took me on the most incredible journey.
These two characters spent 10 years together and then Birdie made a decision that changed everything. The guilt and the pain drove her away from Winter and they both spent the next five years longing for the other.
This book begins with a chance meeting at the airport five years after their break up and Winter has decided that there is nothing that’s going to keep him and Birdie apart.
I don’t want to give away anymore of the story, you need to take this journey for yourself. The love these two characters have for each other is undeniable. It’s so beautifully written and I highly recommend reading their story
The title says it all. This book is a hurricane of emotions. Pain is a constant cycle. Sometimes we can bury it deep but it always comes to the surface. Secrets can only eat away at your soul and when they finally break free you should preprare for your worst nightmare to come true. This story will take you on an emotional journey of forgiveness and learning to love yourself. This truly was incredible and honestly my favorite so far of any mc romance. The writing is perfect and so detailed you feel like you are experiencing the story right along with the characters. I can’t wait to see what Nina has in store for us in the future.
What a Journey. If you read this book weekly in Chapter Form or All in One Sitting you know that you have read an amazing book.
Winter & Birdie have been on and off for years but when your reasons for leaving know it just might destroy everything you have do you either decide to fight for it all or just walk away. The Incredible story of these two amazing characters will have you feeling the heartbreak, the angst even the love but you won’t be able to turn the pages fast enough to find out where they wind up. The only thing I’m sad about is that this book ended because you feel you have come to be apart of their relationship and want to see where they go in the future.
