Survive the night. Stay alive. ‘Resident Evil’ meets ‘Thor’ in Hunting the Undead! Some girls have all the luck, but for Suzy Raven, a paranormal investigator for the local police department, luck just ran out. In this dystopian world, the Dark Elves rule with an iron fist as Gods and Goddesses from various pantheons vie for power, and magic is strictly controlled. Convicted of murdering three … strictly controlled.
Convicted of murdering three humans, when the prison doors slammed shut behind her, she counted down the days until she’d be released.
Without any witnesses and with innocent blood on her hands, she was supposed to rot in that cell, until her lawyer found a way out—an opportunity. She’ll only have to spend the night in the old MacGregor estate—a haunted place of brutal evil. But why fear something imaginary, when there was enough to fear in reality?
If Suzy can survive the night, she can walk away scot-free.
After all, monsters aren’t real, or are they?

Hunting The Dead is an intriguing story and is a spin-off of the Hell Chronicles. Raven is a paranormal investigator. She is a very strong female lead who is learning what she is capable of. This is a fast read but the shortness in no way takes from the story. It is a action packed adventure. Loved Raven and am looking forward to more of her adventures. Highly Recommended. Enjoyable quick read, have good points, interesting storyline and concept that has some challenges makes an endearing read.
Tina Glasneck has delivered another delicious read with this spin-off of her Hell Chronicles series. Raven is a totally kick-a** character with a tender heart, and I absolutely loved her. If you are familiar with the Hell Chronicles, you will appreciate the appearances of some much loved characters. The story is a short one, but it isn’t lacking on excitement and adventure. I would recommend this to all Urban Fantasy lovers even if you haven’t read the main series.

The world has been taken over by Dark Elves, who have set themselves up as the rulers and lawkeepers. Gods and Goddesses from various pantheons vie for power and magic is strictly controlled. Raven works for the paranormal police force, utilizing mana to become stronger to do her job protecting humanity. When Raven runs into an evil necromancer one night events spiral out of her control she must battle to protect everything she loves. It’s a fast paced, action filled story set in an exciting new world that has a lot of potential for more. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a deeply twisted little mind bender. The closest analogy I can come up with is a mash-up of ‘Resident Evil’ with ‘Thor’ and some unexplained magical powers thrown in to spice things up. Just like Alice, Raven is so much more than she appears to be. A truly kick-butt female lead, she’s only beginning to understand what she’s capable of. And just like the Alice of the original movie, there’s even a love interest who’s not quite what you expect.

Can you say Mommy Dearest? Suzy only knows that she was abandoned, to lter discover that she had powers that made her offspring of a god.
As she said, she was one of many left behind – and in this dystopia, only those who are authorized mau use approved magic.
Her own efforts to defend herself and her sector put her in prison.
The witches were all placed in asylums for the mentally ill. Control held by Dark Elves.
sounds like a great setting for sisterly revenge or a zombie like apocalypse.
Now that she is out, can Suzy Q help to save what is left of their world?
Creepy paranormal thriller.

The concept of the stories by Tina Glasneck is outstandingly good. I love the concept of the Gods being a living entity in our lives when we might have a chance to speak with them. Although this is a fairly quick read it packs so much into it. Raven is just a fantastic lead female. She is strong, caring, intelligent and protective. This story from start to finish is so very intriguing. It will hook you and not let you go. Yes, it does hint of another story at the end but it is very much worth it. This is definitely worth reading and it doesn’t disappoint.

A new series with some of the previous characters showing up here and there. I loved this book Raven pulled me in and kept me engrossed the entire time. I can not wait to see what happens next, maybe we can find out who Raven’s father is since we do find out who mommy is at the end.

This is a new series that the author is trying out. It has some previous characters from the Hell Chronicles and the main female character Raven is new to us.
Overall, I felt if you haven’t read the previous books in the Hell you wouldn’t really understand about the Dark Elves and the talk of Gods and Thor.
I did feel that the way the scenery was described was light in the detail and long with the backgrounds of the main characters. Maybe it will be better in future if the author decides to continue with this series.
I prefer the Hell Chronicles, and the one thing I didn’t like was the zombies or ghouls. The battle scenes seemed rushed
