The thing about being a Hunter is it gives you patience. When I lost her, I bided my time.I can’t forget her supple body, bending to my will. I can’t forget the youthful squeals of pleasure as she panted out my name. I can’t forget how she made me feel like a hero instead of dangerous man.My sweet, innocent Blossom. Then she was taken from me.Anger fuelled me, and I became even more deadly.Years … even more deadly.
Years have passed, and I’ve moved on with my work.
Keeping the world safer by killing those who seek to harm the innocent.
A vigilante.
But instead of finding her, she’s found me.
And with her comes a child with my blood pumping through her veins.
Just one more deadly game. Then she’ll be mine.
Then we’ll be a family.

Hunter’s Baby is a suspenseful second chance at love story full of drama, angst, heartache, and a twisted love story. Hunter and Blossom were teenage sweethearts until her parents took her away from him. Years later they are reunited and their feelings are still there. Can they rekindle their relationship or will they go their separate ways forever? Great writing, well developed characters and a captivating love story make this a page turner.
I swear this lady can write a book this one was just non stop action, suspense, steamy as hell sex scenes that were like a match being lit to dynamite they realized it had been smoldering….waiting to be lit. This story is about getting a 2nd chance, but in true Alexis fashion a dark and twisted tale of a love between Hunter & Blossom when she was 18 her parent’s were upstanding people in the community she was the good girl who was an Angel in Hunter’s eyes and he was 23 the product of the foster system when his parent’s abandoned him when he was younger. Her parents found out and they moved away she never saw or heard from him again, but all that’s about to change. This was a damn good story one that I absolutely couldnt put down once I started reading it. I would definitely recommend getting this book it is sooo worth it.
This is my opinion and voluntary review
In my opinion if you are a Alexis Abbott fan she did not disappoint. She gave you suspense, twists and some out sex. I had who the bad guy was but there was a twist I did not see coming, so well done Alexis Abbott. My attention was grabbed at the beginning and was kept till the end. I liked both Blossom and Hunter and when they were together I could fill the longing and the missed years. Blossom is optimistic, hardworking and maybe a little naive about the world. Hunter is likable even if he is a little dark and is doing dark work for a good reason, but that does not make it right. Blossom comes to a crossroad and has to decide what she is going to do. She realizes the world is not black and white. I felt like I was brought into the thought process, I could feel Blossom’s struggle. I liked how Hunter gave Blossom some space to work things out, but he did not give up on her. I voluntary read and reviewed an advanced reader copy.
This isn’t one of Alexis Abbott’s usual mafia stories and is a stand alone. An amazing Second Chance story without crazy drama added to it. Hunter and Blossom’s relationship was not ended by their choice so when they find each other again their chemistry is still off the charts hot! They still love each other and neither of them are afraid to admit it. Hunter has a secret of a dark vigilante past and Blossom has to figure out if she is ok with his past. I absolutely love their relationship and hated to see this story end!
What alove story! Young love denied, reunited with a child added in. Both are older and wiser yet the flame never died. Add in danger, intrigue and smoking hot chemistry and you have a must read!
Listening to a podcast, hearing the murderer left a white lilac in the victims, blood, takes her back to her memories, of a man she’ll never see again, the father of her child. Blossom was eighteen when she met Hunter, when her parents found out she was pregnant they moved her, and Hunter never knew. She dreams of being a journalist and hearing a news story about the lilac, she heads to Ithaca to investigate the murder for her podcast, feeling that fate is guiding her, she never expected to see Hunter walking in front of her.
Blossom keeps thinking that if she takes her eyes of him that Hunter will disappear again. When Hunter asks about Flora, she lets him know she’s his never being able to deny him. Hunter learns that Blossom never wanted to leave him, her parents took her away, but stepping into her world would destroy both Blossom and Flora.
Blossom doesn’t want to ask the question, but the flowers brought them together, before she can he kisses her, her body warms from head to toe. They both need each other, interrupted by a noise, Hunter tackles the intruder, who escapes but not before Hunter sees a familiar tattoo.
Hunter wants to know what she thinks he did, and, reminds her how they talked about the evil people the ones who hurt them, he wants to keep the world a safer place for her, her sister and their daughter.
When their daughter goes missing they’re both left wondering who took her, with the only clue a tattoo that Flora saw. Knowing Blossom needs to know the truth if they have any hope of being together, Hunter lets Blossom know how he started doing what he does, and if someone wanted to hurt Flora he wouldn’t hesitate, she can call the police or understand him, he leaves his fate in her hands.
Will they get their second chance or will they be stopped from finding their forever again.
Definitely not the story I was expecting, along with the plot twists, I was biting my nails in anticipation of how things would play out. I don’t think this story is for the faint of heart, but Alexis Abbott always had a way with telling a story that draws this reader in. Blossom and Hunter seem to work and mesh well together, and Save and Flora were the perfect secondary characters to this story.
Another great story by this author that I absolutely loved. These characters are great. He lost her once but will not let it happen again. He will keep his family safe at all costs.
Wow! What a wonderful, exciting book that Alexis Abbott has written. I love second chance romances, and I love romances with children in them. This book is both, which gives it two pluses, and then this book also has the suspense that will keep you turning those pages. Then there are the love scenes. They are so sizzling hot. The chemistry between Hunter and Blossom are off the charts. This is a book that pulls you into the story so far, that you forget that you are actually reading it. If feels like you are there experiencing it. As you should be able to tell, yes, I highly recommend this book.
Alexis Abbott never disappoints her readers! I loved the plot of this book and I was hooked from the very beginning. The storyline flowed smoothly throughout. The characters were great and developed. Both were easily relatable. I loved Flora – she didn’t let anything get by her! Sage was a great supporting character – one I hope will get her own story!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book….
Hunter’s Baby by Alexis Abbott is a great second chance love story that is full of action and lots of twist and turns that make you not able to put this book down. I really loved this book and highly recommend it. This author never disappoints.
When a serial killer, Hunter, who only kills evil people who hurt others runs into the only woman, Blossom, he ever loved, their reunion is happy and a long time coming. The last time she saw Hunter was 5 years ago before she was whisked away by her parents and hidden because of her pregnancy, now years later the love she’s had for Hunter hasn’t died and has only grown now that he is in front of her. The news is shocking to Hunter about his daughter, Flora, but he is thrilled and finally has a family but his past comes back to haunt him and Blossom who is all about right may have a hard time when she finds out the truth about Hunter….even if he is the only one to protect them from harm.
A great great great read with steamy scenes, suspense, a vigilante and a mother who will do anything to protect her child. I loved this story and the best best best best part to me was that they both stayed true to one another….YES YES YES YES….what a relief and so so refreshing. Not only that but my oh my Hunter was perfect and I would want him in my corner, as well as Blossom, who even though she saw in black and white, there are times when the grey area makes more sense. These two were perfect for each other, five years ago and when they find each other again….highly recommended.
*I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*

Alexis has a way of pulling you into her books and this was no different. I was hooked from the beginning to the end. Summer and Hunter were together and fell in love. When she becomes pregnant her parents take her away without Hunter knowing about the baby. She has escaped her parents and she and her sister raise Flora together. Five years later Summer sees Hunter. Is it fate or a coincidence they see each other again? Their love for each other never went away and their connection to each other is stronger than before. When Hunter realizes that someone is trying to hurt his family, he promises to do whatever it takes to keep his family safe. This book kept me on the edge of my seat wondering who the real villain is. I will admit I did guess wrong and was surprised when it was revealed. I laughed , cried and had some OMG moments. This is a great romantic and suspenseful book.
This is another fantastic story from this exceedingly talented author. Blossom and Hunter were young lovers when they get separated. Now 5 years later, Hunter is a vigilante, and they meet up unexpectedly. Will Hunter forgive the secret Blossom has? No spoilers; this is a must read, you will not be disappointed! This is a well written flawless story, which is suspenseful and thrilling, and I was totally captivated throughout. I highly recommend this authors’ work for all readers!
WOW, that author has done it again and brought us another wonderful story.
I just loved Hunter and Blossom’s story. I loved how they both no matter how much time they were apart they remained so much in love with each other. Their hearts were like waiting for that moment in time when they would be reunited.
Hunter was living in darkness and you have to ask yourself if Blossom will get past the life that Hunter was living. Hunter had already justified what he was doing and wanted Blossom to understand. I have to say I could see Hunter’s reasoning.
I tried to picture all the emotions Hunter was felling to find out he had little girl. To know the life that he was living and know that now he would want to be an example had to be hard.
Things get pretty rocky and dangerous for Hunter, Blossom, and their small happy family. I love how these two will come together to do what ever it takes to keep the ones that they love safe.
This was truly a great story and glad I got a chance to read the book.
This book is more than just a romance. It is a story of innocence, justice, independence, love lost and found, and new beginnings. Hunter is more than just a killer. He is the only justice some will ever get. Blossom was the love of his life until her parents took her away. Now she’s just a memory he never expects to see again. Life has other plans for both of them when they cross paths again. I love that the innocence of their love never faded or lessened. I loved this book and want to say how deeply I felt the connections of the characters in the story. I loved that Sage and Sam ended up helping each other. This is a really great book. I volunteered to read an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
When I started reading I couldn’t put it down.Alexis Abbott is magnifysent writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can’t wait for the next book.
WOW WOW WOW
Love this second chance suspenseful novel by the one and only Alexis Abbott.
The world is not always black and white. There is the gray also and that is where Hunter comes in. Righting the wrong.
Then there is Blossom. Her and Hunter met years ago. Something happened that split them apart.
Now years later Blossom wants to be a true crime podcaster.
Oh I just fell in love with little Flora!!! With all her cute chubbiness 5 year old self.
Will Blossom and Hunter be able to stop the real villian before something happens to another innocent?
Go get Hunter’s Baby to find out. Highly recommend.
