A cowboy on Tarron? Unbelievable.Nyssa Dakros, potential hunter in training and dignitary escort, was tired of dealing with males who were only interested in her because of her family’s high-ranking status. And she absolutely refused—no matter how much a male persisted—to be claimed by one that wasn’t her destined mate. An annoying situation made worse by her mother’s interference and constant … constant insistence that she choose from a group of undesirable men.
When the circumstances surrounding the recent attacks on the vessels delivering ore from Rivean heat up, Dawson Walker, a quadrant security contractor, finds himself protecting the Earth ambassador on Tarron. The last thing he expected was to have an exasperating—trouble seems to follow everywhere—woman fall into his arms…literally.
Rescued from a forced claiming attempt, Nyssa discovers the gorgeous human male who saved her is also her mate. How can she explain to someone who doesn’t understand or experience the primal instincts and urges of her people that he is meant to be with her forever?

So many sci-fi romances feature the alien male and a human female. Hunter Forbidden is a great deviation from the norm. I loved reading this one off and plan to explore the others in the series.

Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and passion, strength happiness and funny. This is the fourth story in the Tarron Hunters series by Nora Robertson. It is a stand-alone, but once you read one of Nora’s stories, you will be addicted and will want to read all the rest. You have out of this world world-building with fantastic characters. This story is different in that the male is human and the female is the alien. (You have to give human males some credit. There are good human males out there, they are rear, but they are out there.)
Nyssa has been training to become a Hunter, even though her mother wants her to marry and be some arm candy because she comes from a high-ranking family. She keeps throwing guys at her and one almost forced claimed, she is saved by a human security guy. She has been friends with a few human females and knows about humans and Earth and has somehow fantasized about finding herself a cowboy. How she expects to find a cowboy in space is beyond the point. She will not mate with anyone besides her destined mate, wherever and whoever he may be.
Dawson Walker is a security contractor hired to protect his uncle, the Earth Ambassador on Tarron. During another one of the many parties thrown in his honor, there is an attack. He protects not only the Ambassador but also a female who is bad a$$ herself. They are attracted to each other and she doesn’t even know he is a cowboy yet. They need to find out who keeps attacking his uncle, and her. It seems like an inside job, but they are thrown together many times.

This is the 4th book in the series and although it does work just fine as a standalone, you’ll be missing out on a lot of the backstory if you don’t pick up the previous books (I’ve enjoyed all of them) Nyssa Dakros is TIRED of being thrown at undesirable potential mates by her mother and having an attempted forced mating was the last straw. Just because her family has a high rank, she still wants a destined mate. She is saved by a cowboy. Dawson Walker is human and doesn’t know about destined mates but they have a spark. She is determined to have him, but he’ll have to figure out how before she’ll go along. Fun and fast paced, two likeable characters that anyone (except them) can see belong together. I’ve enjoyed the entire series and this just adds to the fun. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
It’s all about the Stetson. Nyssa Has always been attracted to Cowboys because of the virtual‘s a.k.a. videos of movies of cowboys. She is a Torron native and have human friends. Her brother married a human and she share some of the sayings in slang some various things to her. She’s always wanted to meet a cowboy. Nyssa needs Dawson. He approaches her with stats on and he is a human cowboy from earth. He’s also in charge of security for his uncle who is ambassador. It seems that he is also her mate. She can’t growling or purr/ moaning when taking in his scent. With all the underlying storyline going on in the action packed scenarios, Nyssa is determined to avoid telling Dawson that he is her mate. Dawson is possessive and attracted to her. Nyssa has her own reasons but as she is not telling Dawson that she is his mate. she’s also avoiding others who want to take her as a mate. Characters, check. Action, check. Villains and schemers, check. Cliffhangers, no. Good read

Nyssa is a trained warrior but due to her family is given diplomatic escorting duty. Dawson is at the convention as security for his Uncle. He runs into a strong beautiful alien whom he wants to find again. This is a sweet story that has action adventure and romance. I like how Dawson sees her as a strong brilliant woman that he learns to love.

Although this is the fourth in a series, I have only read one of the others and didn’t find it to be a problem. Nyssa Dakros is a proud Tarron, trained to be a hunter. Dawson Walker is a human who is a security pro. The sparks fly between them when he offers to help her fix her transport but not necessarily in a good way. There are love scenes but nothing overly graphic. There are some good action scenes that lead to an investigation of the source. The characters are well developed and highlight some of the potential problems with inter galactic entanglements. Of course there is the HEA and some setup for additional characters to have their own story. A good read.

The fourth book in the Tarron Hunters series a well written story that held my interest until the end. This is Nyssa Dakros and quadrant security contractor Dawson Walker’s story there is suspense, drama, danger, a villain closer than they realize, mates, and romance. I want to read the next book. Nyssa is tired of all these males that are only interested in her because of her family’s high status. Dawson finds himself protecting and infuriating, exasperating Earth ambassador on Terron. She literally falls into his arms. She’s rescued from being forced into a claiming she doesn’t want. She does find her true mate in Dawson’s arms. This was a fast paced, fun and full of action story. The storyline and the characters were really good. Will Nyssa be able to convince Dawson that he is her mate? I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Nyssa Dakros was tired of dealing with males who were only interested in her because of her family’s high-ranking status. Her mother made things worse by pushing her to accept the undesirable men she selected for her daughter. But Nyssa refused to accept a man who was not her mate!
Dawson Walker, a quadrant security contractor and a cowboy from Earth, was on Tarron for business. To his surprise, an annoying woman who seems to attract trouble falls into his arms. Having been rescued from a forced claiming, Nyssa discovers the human is her mate who she knows won’t understand that concept and won’t feel those extreme reactions that will let him recognize she is his. Or will he?
This book was fun, fast-paced, and full of action. The story line is good and the characters described well. Grab your copy and see if Nyssa can convince Dawson he is her mate . . . or if the human can figure it out for himself!
This book, is entertaining, action packed and thoroughly enjoyable. The chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.

This is the first book I’ve read by Nola Robertson and I wasn’t disappointed
and absolutely fantastic sci-fi romance book. Nyssa unfortunately had a helicopter mother who wouldn’t let her live her life her way and wasn’t a very nice person.
Now her best friend Lyna was total bad over the top awesome loved how she
defends her best friend from and over bloated jerk.
I loved Dawson and Nyssa together these was a slow simmer until the end
but once they figured things out between them they totally rock.
