After Libby Evans is rescued from slavers and reunited with her best friend on the planet Tarron she thought she’d finally gained her freedom. Unfortunately, the ruthless nephew of the Rivean Mining Corporation’s powerful owner enacts a clause in the bridal contract she thought had terminated with her husband’s death. Willing or not, she has one week before he arrives to make her his wife.… wife.
Determined not to spend the rest of her life in a marriage she doesn’t want, Libby has no choice—she must find a Tarron male willing to claim her. Hard to do when the one man she’d gladly submit to is the hunter who wants nothing to do with her.
After being rejected by the woman he believed to be his true mate, Erak Dakros has sworn never to let another female into his life—or near his heart. Protecting Libby until she returns to Rivean should have been an easy assignment. He had no idea the beautiful human would tempt his animal nature and unlock the desire buried deep inside him.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Ricka and Libby worked the bar, they lived together and both were single. They both were making their way home when they were abducted by the Klorthon to be sold at slavery market. Tarron named Erak is a Hunter he was badly beaten so Libby looked after him when they got back to Erak’s home. It getting better, yummy as well.

Fun fast read. I liked the characters and while the story was fairly predictable there were a couple of twists and it was an entertaining read. Fast paced without any slow spots. I did read the book before this one and this couple gets an HEA but the overall story arc continues. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
She is determined to get her Tarron
Well I liked Hunter Enslaved much more than the first book in the Tarron Hunters series by Nola Robertson. This is the story of Libby and Erak. She is a woman that is determined to take matters into her own hands and not end up in a marriage that she does not want, which she actually didn’t even think could happen any more. So she has no other option but to find another man who will marry her within the week. The only man she really wants or can see being married to is Erak. Unfortunately for Libby Erak is not interested in any way in her or in being married after having his heart broken by a woman he thought was his mate. Too bad for Erak as Libby is not deterred and is willing to try all manner of things to get his interest and make him realize that what he really needs and what is truly his is right in front of him and in human form.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
I really loved reading this story. It is the story of Libby, who we met in Hunger Bound, where she worked with her BFF Ricka. We are introduced to the Tarron Hunters. I love how strong and Alpha the guys are, but when they meet the right human female, they are mush and will do anything to protect and care for them. Nola Roberson has created this fantastic world with yummy guys and gals that are strong enough to survive yet soft enough to melt the frozen hearts of their Tarron Hunters.
Libby was kidnapped after a rough night at work. She was kidnapped by slavers and she was fortunate enough to be rescued by the same Aliens, Tarron Hunters, that was in the bar that night. Once she was brought to Tarron, to be reunited with her friend Ricka who was also rescued, the slime ball human from their old planet wanted to enforce a part of her contract whereas after her husband died, another from the planet can claim her for his wife. She has got to find a way to stay on Tarron, and hopefully attract the strong Tarron who rescued her from the slavers. Otherwise, she will be sent back to the desolate planet into a perverts hands.
Erak is the Tarron Hunter that was able to save Libby and he is attracted to her, but after his ‘fated mate’ rejected him for another, he has closed off his heart. He is attracted to Libby, but . . . He has claimed that she is under his protection, and if you read Hunter Bound, a Tarron who claims that a female is under their protection has basicly claimed her for his own. When Erak thinks about the human male trying to take Libby away, let’s just say, he isn’t happy about that.

Erak and LIbby have strength where it counts…
I loved the inner strength that shined through and was shown in this story. There were moments when a character would appear physically weak or in distress, yet they would find the inner strength to put themselves between another and harm. A character who knew the pain and emotional pain a relationship can result in would take a chance on someone, not because a better future is guaranteed, but because they found that inner strength to risk their heart, all while standing up for, and helping others.
I am curious about the previous story, which timeline-wise seems to overlap the early chapters of this story. Libby and her friend/co-worker start the night out together, and when things go wrong, and they are separated they each have a memorable and exciting adventure.
Erak’s world is full of interesting characters, I hope Kel, Ryos, and Nyssa each get a story, and while Dathan didn’t get much time here, I do think he has potential as well.
This was an interesting tale, a character-centric quick read which deals with the primary issue at hand while leaving a few other irons in the fire.

Libby finds love and friendship in a new world!
by sewsummore
Libby had been abducted together with two other females destined for the slave market, after several days they were joined by a Tarron named Erak, who who had been badly beaten. He was a member of a three man team of Hunters who had fallen foul to their abductors. Fortunately rescue was soon at hand and the four of them were taken to his home planet. Erak, the man who had been beaten had been tasked with her care while she was recovering and the more time they spent together. the closer they become with his sister playing matchmaker. This was the second book in the series that I have read, each of them made rewarding reading with good characterisation and well thought out storyline. Libby’s trouble do not end with her arrival safe;y on the Tarron planet as she has more difficulties to face but she eventually gains her heart’s desire but you will need to read the book to discover what else happens to this determined woman.

Libby it’s from earth working on this planet or miners are plenty and women are few. She got married to a miner and he died in the accident. Unfortunately he died less than a three-year contract that she signed on for in a bad accident. But I am getting ahead of myself. This is a story about a woman who was adopted and is planned to be sold into slavery. Her best friend from a previous standalone book was in the same predicament but got made it. Now in order for her to avoid getting married a mate needs to be found or at least agreed-upon. It’s a little hazy but eventually, things start to straighten out. It seems like no matter what happens the one who she think she wants to have as a mate, Is not ready or is oblivious of the need of her to acquire a mate be at permanently or a long time. Crazier things of happened in the storyline all alone. HEA was definite, villains of coarse are on the scene and cost of saving is also an option to keep everyone safe.

This is a fantastic addition to the Tarron Hunters series. It’s not a long read, but the plot and characters are amazingly developed and it’s so easy to slip into the story. The action-packed plot is full of drama, excitement, humor, passion, love, danger, and a HEA that brought a smile to my face. I love the large cast of characters that make up this world and I’m anxious to get my hands on all of their stories.
The second book in the Tarron Hunters series a short quick story to read, I want to read the next book. This is Libby Evans and Erak Dakros’ story, great story that kept me turning pages.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Libby and Erak have quite the interesting journey they endure while trying to find their HEA. Can he trust a woman again? Will she be able to convince him that she’s his mate? Fun and exciting story

I really enjoyed this sci fi romance. This is the second book in a series of 6 so far. I went ahead and bought the other 5 books because I know I will enjoy them too.
Libby was a mail order bride who lost her husband only months after coming to the mining colony. She got a job as a waitress to sustain herself and earn money in hopes of returning to Earth. She got her friend Ricka a job as a bartender at the bar when she lost her father and her home because of company rules. Rika’s story is the first in the series and I am going to read her book next.
The common thread throughout the series are Torrans who act as the police, or hunters, in the universe. There are both male and female hunters in the series which should mix things up. When Libby is attacked by slavers, Erak’s ship is also attacked and he is put in the same hold as Libby on the slavers ship. Eventually they are rescued by other hunters and Libby is placed in Erak’s care on his home planet until she can be returned to the mining colony under threat of being forced to married to a corrupt character because of her contract. I really liked the way Erak kept losing to his instincts to claim Libby and make her his true mate. The writing style was very enjoyable.
There are lots of interesting secondary characters like Nyssa, Erak’s sister, that make the read interesting. In fact, I think the character development was the best part of the book and can hardly wait to read their stories.

Rescued from slavers and taken to the planet Tarron, Libby Evans is relieved that she has her freedom now with the death of the husband she was tied to through an involuntary bridal contract. But nothing is ever easy, and a clause in the contract allows her to be claimed by the owner of Rivean Mining Corporation’s disgusting nephew, who is on his way to enforce his claim. Her only hope to avoid this fate is to marry a Tarron male, if she can find one willing to marry her, before the nephew arrives.
Erak Dakros, the one Libby would happily marry, has been disappointed by a woman who rejected him and he does not want to open his heart to another female. Could she change his mind? Would he take a chance to give her the protection she needs and maybe find what he needs in return?
This is a really good story line with very good character development to draw the reader in. Can Libby and Erak drop their defenses and see if they might be able to accept a caring relationship? Will they make a future for themselves? Grab your copy and find out if Libby can escape her dire fate?
A fast-paced entertaining alien romance, it is the second book in the series “Tarron Hunters” & I enjoyed reading it. I found the story-line and plot well-written & quite intriguing with some unexpected complications & events. The characters are likable, well-developed & intense with a determination to succeed in a far-reaching plan. There is good support from the secondary characters.
There is: A young woman (Libby) sadly widowed is determined to escape a possible forced future marriage to a conniving ruthless nephew (Boyd) of the mining company’s owner (Dale Keagan) so she decides to pursue a Tarron male (Erak) who would do anything to protect Libby, Libby’s fellow worker & friend (Ricka), Erak’s sister & a new friend (Nyssa), friendship, various kinds of aliens, hunters, humans, bridal contracts, slavers, twists & turns, drama, intrigue, some suspense, adventure, action, threats, danger, conflict, violence, abduction, harassment, sexual innuendos, petitions, devastating news, frustration, strange attractions, schemes, manipulations, determination, claiming, mates, confrontation, dissatisfaction, devious intentions, rescued, love, contentment & a happy ending for this couple.
This was my first book by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I could not put it down. I now have to read the first book. The chemistry between the characters were strong and felt myself rooting for the characters. Could relate to them. Job well done!

Liked this book. I have to go and read the first book to this series. This book held my attention and had me turning pages until I was done. I happened to see it on Booksprout and it sounded interesting. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is my second review of Ms. Robertson’s Tarron Hunters series, and it won’t be my last! Fully fleshed out characters with an amazing exciting plot and plenty of steamy romance make these books unstoppable! Unable to put it down, I read until the wee hours, telling myself “just one more page” about 200 times. I definitely recommend this series to anyone who enjoys an alien-human romance!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a fast read at 110pgs. The editing was good. While it was steamy the book was more about the story than sex. You could feel the characters coming together and I loved the supporting characters. I definitely recommend this book.
