EmberWhen they chose me, I thought it meant I was special, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. They didn’t pick me for a sporting event. They singled me out to be stripped bare and set loose in the forest to serve as their prey in a terrifying hunt. But they underestimated me, and I escaped.HadleyI didn’t ask for a beautiful, naked young woman to come running out of the woods, desperate, … running out of the woods, desperate, exhausted, and in need of my help, but now that she is under my roof, she is my responsibility.
She can’t go back to the city, and while she’s here she’ll do as she is told or she’ll be spanked until she is sobbing. But even when her cheeks are blushing and her bottom is sore both inside and out, her need for me is obvious, and I know that soon I won’t be able to hold myself back.

Book 1, Stolen Future. Aria Adams’ post-apocalyptic future combined with erotic romance is a riveting read!
Only seven cities are left on the continent. Novara seems to be a utopia. Money and jobs don’t exist. Every need is fulfilled for free. So what do people do? Sports. It’s the all-consuming passion. As a result, The Chase is the most popular TV show in the city. The premise? It’s a game of “hide-and-seek.” Superior, physically fit contestants vie for a red ribbon, the chance to be a sports ambassador for Novara, and induction to the Sporting Hall of Fame. Runners are chosen to evade challengers for an hour. Ember’s thrilled when she’s chosen. But the Chase is no honor. There are no red ribbons, no ambassadorships, no Sporting Hall of Fame. The challengers chasing the runners? Not so harmless! Running for her life, how can Ember escape? Out of nowhere, Hadley steps in. Saving Ember’s life may be a no brainer for Hadley, but he’s just put himself in the line of fire of Novara’s ruling elite, the Brotherhood. The last rancher on the face of the Earth, his life’s simple and uncomplicated. As Hadley tries to tell Ember that Novara’s far from what it seems, Ember needs no convincing. She’s just experienced it first-hand. But she doesn’t want to hear anything else. Her one overwhelming desire? Return to Novara and tell everyone just how fake The Chase is. But Novara’s 200 miles away with untold dangers surrounding Hadley’s ranch. She’s no concept how to accomplish any of this, but she’s determined. When Ember ignores Hadley’s warnings not to leave, she’s none too happy with the consequences. A spanking in a woodshed? Seriously? Even that only earns her grudging agreement to stay. But is she telling the truth? The longer she stays, the more punishments she earns. Inexplicably, she finds herself drawn to Hadley on visceral level. Hadley’s puzzled by his reaction to Ember too. But the Brotherhood’s not done with either of them. As danger surrounds them on every front, can they survive the biggest conspiracy ever conceived? They’re outgunned, outmanned, and seemingly outwitted. Sooner or later, Hadley and Ember will have to face the truth. Escape is impossible. The Brotherhood holds all the cards. One question remains. What are they willing to sacrifice in a bid to overcome the odds? If they can’t figure that out, the last ranch on Earth, Hadley, and Ember will cease to exist!
Aria Adams is a new pen name for another favorite author. She’s created a story that’s part chilling dystopia and part erotic romance. It’s an intriguing combination. The characters and plot are extraordinary. The world Ms. Adams has created is believable on every level. Ember and Hadley initially have nothing in common. How could they? Ember knows of nothing outside Novara. Hadley lives in his own world. He’s certainly aware of Novara. But is he as independent as he believes, or is he just fooling himself? Ember and Hadley’s relationship is more than improbable from the start. Ember comprehends nothing about Hadley’s life. Hadley struggles to convince Ember of anything. As the two come to an uneasy truce, threats of every kind follow them. These two are irresistible. Aria Adams has interwoven both the best and worst of each culture. She’s incredible! This is so much more an erotic romance. It’s also a cautionary tale. The blindness to the dangers of dependence on technology, how it easily outpaces humanity’s capacity to keep up with it, and the apathy and willingness to give up basic rights for the sake of ease and comfort are all too real. Ms. Adams has a true talent for storytelling, regardless of the genre. Impressive and realistic don’t begin to describe this story. If you’re a fan of dystopian fiction, erotic romance or not, you need to read this book. Hunted deserves nothing less than five stars. Thank you, Aria Adams, for writing such a unique, thoughtful, and timely book. It’s superb!
One final note. Be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language, some dark non-sexual themes, as well as sexual scenes. If you don’t enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and Amazon. Use these resources. DON’T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON’T ENJOY THE BOOK. It’s not fair to the author. She works hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you’ll object to a book’s subject matter before you buy it, you’re doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.
Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!!
