Luke sees a women being thrown off a bridge into the river. He saves her and she tells him her name is Megan but she can’t remember what happen yesterday and why someone wanted to kill her. Luke knows he has to help her but the men after them seem to know each move they make. I really enjoyed this book.
Book one of the Everyday Heroes series and I want to read the rest of this series. A very good storyline with the story flowing smoothly from page to page. Canine search and rescue volunteer, Luke and Megan Witherspoon’s kept me turning pages I had to know what was going to happen and who was trying to kill her. There is suspense, drama, danger, attempted murder, murder, villains, one beautiful dog Shep, and romance. I enjoyed reading this book.
Luke is camping with his search and rescue dog Shep when he witnesses a woman chained and being thrown from a bridge in to the river. He rescues her and is determined to protect her and help her figure out what is going on. Meagan has no memories of what has happened or why. She is very thankful when Luke decides to protect and help her. As Meagan tries to remember, the danger she’s in encompasses Luke and his family. Will he keep Meagan safe from the determined killer? I loved this book and cannot wait to read another book by this author!
This is a wonderful aurthor and her stories are always written without all the vulgar, profanity that others seem to think add to the story. They’re great page turners and I’m always anxious for the next one!
Definitely hard to lay it aside.
Margaret Daly is an exceptional writer! Her books are always hard to put down
A bit cheesy but lots of action!
I only recently starting reading the author’s books. The story is interesting from the moment Luke saves Megan. The character building is excellent and you don’t get board. It is a clean read with a wonderful storyline.
Hard to put down this page turner. The girl getting thrown off a bridge while being chained is the beginning of a romantic thriller. Great suspense!
Good read for late night!
Wonderful book. Different than what I normally read. I don’t like a bunch of blood action books. This book was interesting.
Really enjoyed this book!
I enjoyed reading Hunted. We are reminded, that God has a plan, He will carry it out, not always to how we want or think it should be, but He is always there carrying out His plan. Remember to keep our eyes on Him! As Megan and Luke were reminded.
Another awesome by Margaret Daley, one of my fav authors. You can always know that her books will be some of the best. I like the idea of not knowing who the killer is until the very end. She has you guessing but surprised.
I recommend anything by Margaret. You won’t be sorry you read it.
This story offered just what I needed: A bit of mystery and suspense, steady action/good pacing, and romance! I look forward to reading more of this “everyday heroes” series.
Margaret Daley is no stranger to the suspense genre. Each novel I’ve read just gets better.
Hunted is the first book in her new series, Everyday Heroes. I look forward to the next installment.
It is very good but too short
Hunted by Margaret Daley
Everyday Heroes Series Book One
Luke Michaels life had changed drastically once. It was about to change again. What started as a few days of R&R on a camping trip turned into a rescue mission when his dog, Shep, alerted him of danger.
Megan Witherspoon had a normal life. Definitely leaning on the dull side. That all changed when she found herself in danger—and with no memory of why. Not knowing where to go or who to trust…she found herself depending on a total stranger.
As always, Margaret Daley has written another great suspense story with romance. I always enjoy a suspense that has me guessing who the bad guy is and being surprised in the end. Looking forward to more in this series.

This book was pretty good, but it was short (only 11 chapters). I prefer longer books that I get to enjoy for a while. Love the dog.
