This is a full-length companion novel to the NY Times Bestselling Fixed Trilogy. It is not meant to be read as a stand-alone.
“I can easily divide my life into two parts—before her and after.”
Hudson Pierce has led a life few others could even imagine. With money and power at his fingertips, he’s wanted for almost nothing. He’s never experienced love, however, and he’s seen few examples of it … few examples of it in his dysfunctional family. The ridiculous notion of romance has always intrigued him. He’s studied it, controlled it, manipulated it, and has yet to understand it.
Until he meets Alayna Withers.
Now, the games he’s played in his quest for comprehension can finally come to an end. Or are they just beginning?
Told from his point of view, Hudson fills the holes in his love story with Alayna Withers. His past and relationship with his long-time friend Celia is further revealed and light is shed on his actions during his courtship with Alayna.
MUST BE READ AFTER THE FIXED TRILOGY.
Book One: FIXED ON YOU

What could make the Fix Series better? Having a look inside the head of Hudson Pierce! I’m not always a fan of reading books that go back to what I just read just in a different POV, but I’m in love Hudson! Laurelin Paige just brought it all with this! Throughout the first three books in the series we only see Alayna’s point of view, we feel her pain. Hudson is our look inside the head of Mr. Pierce and it is fantastic. I would reread three books with just Hudson recounting all the details I already know. I just loved getting this inside look into him. Although I still don’t agree with everything that he did I understand him so much better. The Fixed Series is not complete until you read Hudson!

I read this book quite awhile ago, the whole series in fact. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good love story with a lot of twists and turns in all the books
Hudson will always be on my top list of book boyfriends.
When I started reading I couldn’t put it down.Laurenlin Paige is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can’t wait for the next book.
Hudson was a great read. The reader now understands who the real Hudson is. The book is not a repeat of the trilogy. It is it’s Own story. Don’t miss it.
Loved getting to be in Hudson’s head and seeing through his eyes…HIGHLY recommend.
What an excellent companion novel!! I don’t usually read companion stories if the original was succinct enough to give the whole story, but after devouring the Fixed Trilogy over the last couple days, I was too curious not to. I so desperately wanted to know what was going on in Hudson’s head while he was pursuing Alayna and how much his heart was breaking while hers was shattering.
This was perfect! It provided all of the pivotal moments of their courtship, background on how his behavior got started and even a glimpse of the HEA after Forever In You ended.
A great read!!
What, wow a great story. This was such a great compliment to one of my favorite series. I definitely recommend this book, this author, and this series.
I’ve never enjoyed a book written through another character’s POV this much before.
The Hudson Pierce I grew fond of while reading books 1-3 of the Fixed Series, was presented in a whole new light in the novel titled after his own character. The reader was able to view some of the pivotal events from the previous three books, but this time, it came from Hudson’s point of view.
Flashbacks gave the chance to get to know the man that Hudson was prior to meeting his love interest, Alayna. Hudson seemed to be troubled in the years prior to meeting her. He behaved towards others in ways that were truly evil and could almost be considered, maniacal.
Hudson was deeply flawed and sought out entertainment or fulfillment, if you will, by manipulating other couples. Setting his sights most often on unsuspecting women, he would play to their vulnerabilities only to turn and hurt them. His twisted and broken soul, however, found refuge when he met Alayna and with her support he slowly began to change.
I found this to be a fascinating read because it gave so much more reason behind the questions of why Hudson behaved the way he did. It was also interesting to see, from his perspective, just how meeting Alayna changed him into the man he became by the end of this novel. If you are a fan of the Fixed Series, I highly recommend this book so that you too can learn more about the man that so many of my fellow readers fell for over the years.
This book is so good.
Hudson showed us some powerful stuff in this book. I loved reading “his” version. We got to see how Hudson played his game and how he changed when he met Alayna. Hudson let us see how got Celia involved. I wanted to punch her in this book. Can’t wait to read more in this series.
It was GREAT to get his POV of the Fixed Trilogy. There were so many times while reading those books that I was wondering what was going through his head. And then to get the back story on how him and Celia got to the place that they were it. Also getting to see what was taking place when him and Celia would meet and talk about what he was up to was quite interesting. I really enjoyed having Hudson’s POV. I am so glad that she wrote this to go along with the trilogy! Now if only I could stop wanting to read the series all over again every time I hear All of Me by John Legend…..
I’m in love with Hudson and I am so glad to hear his point of view. This is one of the best series I have ever read and I am so happy to read this book! Kudos Laurelin Paige! I highly recommend this book!
This book could have easily been incorporated into the other three books as a back and forth like other authors do. After the first chapter which was before he met the girl it was quite boring as it was like you were reading the other books over again.
