When I first opened this book, I wasn’t sure what to expect from it really. The title was intriguing and fascinating, so I picked it up and started reading it. As I delved into it, I learned stuff in this business I knew nothing about.
I heard people were making money with Smartphones but I never understood how this was done, so I was very curious about it. I had preconceived notions about the whole mobile marketing thing and about Smartphones. They were shattered to the ground as I flipped pages from one chapter to the next.
First, what I learned is that apps connect businesses with their customers 24/7. That’s a biggie right there! This means that you can send out messages to your customers any time you want in the day and drive traffic all day every day. Even at 2 AM. I mean who doesn’t want that?? This is truly a blessing and I was impressed.
Second, you can build rapport with clients. And because you have their trust, you can send them any offers that you want. That’s because they know you and you know them! You can ask them questions and get answers back and forth. It goes both ways.
You can create a list of your customers, and this is very crucial for obvious reasons. I’ve always believed that customer management systems were huge giant complex systems just for big companies, but I was wrong. That’s another myth that was torn apart.
But for me, this connection around the clock with clients is a great plus. The other thing I learned is the four ways you can make money with an app. I know at least 5 people I can talk to who would pay me money just to run ads for their businesses inside my app. This is free cash I can earn just by placing these small businesses inside my app.
I definitely think that a Mobile app is a great asset, because once a client is in your database, you can ask them to do many things. You are literally in full control. Before, you had to hope and pray to the gods, or for the sun to shine just to have a huge crowd before your store.
You need clients? Guess what? Just send a tweet to your list and minutes later, you’re good to go. No more dire cash flow situations either. They’re gone with just one tweet.
The other problem this book solves is the marketing. Before, you had to spend a lot of money to get clients inside your business. Nowadays, you have Social Media and viral marketing. Plus, you can share your app on other Smartphones just by the push of a button. That’s genius! You can save yourself a ton of money if you know what you’re doing.
This book is a real eye opener. I highly recommend it for any business owner. You’ll learn a ton of things that are very useful and practical. Often, when you look at people on the street, they’re glued to their cell phones 90% of the time. They’re chatting, surfing, playing games, and even bumping into each other. I’ve always thought, what if I could just call a tiny fraction of those people inside my business to buy my stuff? This book will teach you how this is done. If you desperately need clients, you’ll learn the secrets to get them inside your business.
