Presley Benson thinks she found the perfect plan to get over her ex-boyfriend, Jackson Montgomery:
Break off all contact for ninety days.
Stay away from social media.
Remember all the things you liked to do when you were single and revisit those activities.
Think carefully about starting any new romantic attachments.
Wine, lots of wine. No, don’t. It could end badly.
Be mindful of anxiety and … don’t. It could end badly.
There’s a problem though. Jackson Montgomery is the newly appointed vice principal of Riverton High School where Presley teaches drama. And oh yeah, he wants her back.
So what’s a girl to do? Stick with the plan, of course.

This is the first book in a LONG time that I’ve given five stars to, but it’s been even longer since I was this engrossed and excited to read a contemporary romance. I’m always on the look out for a book that I can’t put down; I’ve read several recently that captured my attention and entertained, but it’s been years since I stayed up two hours past bedtime reading, then woke up ridiculously early so I could finish a book before going to work. This book did it for me.
The hero is almost too wonderful, but isn’t that why we read romance novels? But he’s clearly not perfect because he makes some truly stupid decisions. And I could relate to the heroine’s angst — the tears, the desire, the frustration, the hope. Gripping.
This is my first Jennifer Peel novel, but it won’t be my last!
I remember reading Other Side of the Wall a few years ago and I enjoyed it but for whatever reasons I hadn’t read anymore by Jennifer Peel until about a week ago. I freely admit that I should have or maybe it’s a good thing I didn’t until now because for the time being I have a bunch of her books to binge read! I also admit that I think Jennifer Peel is now in my top ten favorite authors. I have read three of her books this week.
Now onto the review of this book! Presley thinks she is about to be proposed to by Jackson only to get dumped by him instead. It’s perfectly clear he loves her but is an idiot.
She is consoled by her best friend and the how to get over your ex in ninety days is hatched. There are so many funny parts to this book. Like the name Jackson is sort of banished and replaced by Mr. Montgomery, a horrible date night with someone, the diary entries to Mr. Bingley, etc.
I loved how Mr. Montgomery realized how stupid he was and decided to try to get her back. He fought for her despite her refusal to give into him.
I enjoyed her relationship with an older co-worker, Mr. Randall. I looked forward to their scenes together.
I’ve already borrowed via Kindle Unlimited Narcissistic Tendencies and bought More Trouble in Loveland.
Y’all. I just can’t even with this book! I’m definitely a sucker for a good lost love romance and this book fit the bill perfectly!
Presley and Jackson are pretty much the “It” couple. Everyone loves them and knows that they are destined to be together. But out of nowhere, Jackson breaks up with Presley and crushes her heart into a million pieces.
Determined to pick herself back up and move forward with her life, Presley and her best friend, Capri, devise a plan that will have Presley thinking, “Jackson who?” in ninety day. What could possibly go wrong?!
Everything.
Y’all. Never underestimate a man in love. He will do anything and everything to win back the heart of the woman he loves. After all, failure is NOT an option!
I absolutely LOVED Ninety Days! It has everything that makes an AMAZING book! The feels are definitely real my friends! You will laugh out loud, get teary eyed, growl in frustration, let out little dreamy sighs and cheer our hero and heroine on as they figure out what’s most important to them and strive to achieve their happily ever after!
Ms. Peel has done it again! She was able to suck me in from the very beginning and not let me go until the very end! I love all the journeys she takes us on and can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next!
Can’t go wrong with Jennifer Peel! Loved the style in which this book is written! I couldn’t help but laugh at some of the antics of the characters!
Excellent book!! I loved that the characters were regular people with regular jobs and problems. I also likes the friends/family characters. It was really entertained even though I did not laugh with it, the book was a page turner, I just wanted to know what happen!!! I really recommend this book, if you want to have good time and as me you are fed up of the boss, bakers, assistant, etc books……THIS IS IT!
