Avalon has always felt different and alone. The ocean, along with the friends she’s made under the water, is the only constant in her life. She comforts herself with the notion that alone is at least safe. There’s no one to hide her extraordinary abilities from, to hide her dreams of living beneath the crashing waves forever. Then Xander comes for her, reluctantly, judging by his snarly attitude. … snarly attitude. But, attitude aside, he draws her into a fantasy world, one filled with family and friendship and … the home she’s always craved.
He gives her the smallest glimpse of perfection, only to then inform her that it’s not a world she can have. Political issues in Royale will make her time there temporary.
Her time in Royale and with Xander.
She will stay until the very end, though. If there’s one thing that she’s determined to prevent, it’s Laous getting his hands on the starslight stone. A stone which is keeping two worlds alive and functioning.
A happily ever after might not be in the cards for her, but she’s determined to make it happen for her friends.
Even if it’s the last thing she does.
Don’t miss the stunning conclusion to the Secret Keepers series.

Another awesome book. This was definitely my favourite of the series as I really liked getting to see Xander’s growth throughout the book as he was a complete a*sehole about the bonds between the overlords and the secret keepers born in their respective houses at the end of book 3, when he told Lex, Dan & Chase that they let fate control them and that they only care about the girls because of the bonds that formed, he was also extremely sure that he wasn’t the Daelighter for the 4th secret keeper, he was a complete and utter di*k about it lol and then when they found Avalon he turned his a*seholeness towards her, but throughout the book he shows his softer side to Avalon and you find out the reason why he was so against the bond. I loved how Royales hair turns rainbow while in water and it also reacts to strong emotions that they’re feeling, I thought it was a cool concept. I also loved getting to see a bit of the House of Royale and their underwater world. Xander’s mum overlord major is a complete b*tch especially to Avalon. I loved how much of a caring and loving guy Xander kept hidden from everyone as it’s just how Royales do it. I also loved that Xander didn’t look down on Avalon or thought she was less than because of her damaged hand, he didn’t hesitate to hold onto her damaged hand, even when he was in a*sehole mood. There were a couple of situations throughout the book that had me feeling a complete roller coaster of emotion but in the end the sadness turns to happiness. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
CONTAINS SPOILERS –
After not enjoying book 3 as much, I was pleasantly reeled back in for the final book in this series. The story of Avalon was captivating. Although she’s the least human of all of the Secret Keepers, she was strangely easy to connect with. And by now, the build up of the final battle between Laous and the Overlords has built up so far that I was ready to read the final chapter in the series. I think I enjoyed the banter between Xander and Avalon the most. Although Callie and Daniel had some snark in their book, this one highlighted it that much more.
The book wasn’t without some negatives that irked me. One was the waters of where the secret keepers were born. I was expecting more Hot Springs type pools where they were birthed in; not a current under the ocean. Even if it was holy and a current of rainbows. As a mother who’s given birth, it did not seem practical. I could understand a pool or something, but an open area of water just didn’t seem logistically possible. And I really wanted to hear more of the struggle to get Xander’s mother to agree to their bond. Maybe I just wanted a little more drama after not having any with the other Keepers. At the end, they talked about how Emma and Maya wanted to finish out their school year and graduate, but in the epilogue about Maya, it sounded like she didn’t want to really finish out the year. It struck me as odd. And the fact that the Overlords just started hinting that Laous was starting to show signs of mental health issues was also convenient as it was happening. I just think there were so many opportunities to foreshadow and plant Easter Eggs throughout the series instead of the current book you’re reading. It’s something I hope Eve works on for her future series.
Despite this, I still enjoyed the ending and found it to be a fitting end to the series. I enjoyed the twist with Callie and very surprised when it happened. There were parts where I was literally laughing or crying, which means Eve was able to strike a chord in her readers, which is what you need in a good book. I’ll give some of her other series’ a try, but hope some of these author finesse issues don’t persist.
I think the author of this good is an excellent writer. I hope I can start writing like her.

The Secret Keepers series and Supernatural Academy by Jaymin Eve will always hold a very special place in my heart.
It was just after I’d finished reading the last book in the Secret Keepers series and had begun reading Supernatural Academy that my father passed away after his long battle with emphysema.
I know, absolutely know, that it was taking refuge in thinking about the Secret Keepers characters and world and the characters and world that had been introduced in Supernatural Academy that helped get me through this very difficult time.
Writing these reviews that I have for Jaymin Eve’s books is my way of thanking her for helping me through this period in my life.
But enough about me, let’s chat about the book, shall we?
As with House of Imperial, House of Royale, the last book in the series, starts off with a bang that’ll have your heart in your throat and it doesn’t stop there as the Secret Keepers race to foil Laous’s evil plans.
With barely a chance to sit back and catch her breath, Avalon is dragged into the world of the Daelighters.
The Secret Keepers and their partners will have to use every ounce of their wits, strength and power to defeat Laous and stop him from destroying Earth and the Daelighter world.
This book is an addictive, immersive, adrenaline inducing thrill ride of a book.
Highly Recommended.
House of Royale by Jaymin Eve a five-star read that will have your floating away. This is the forth and I’m hoping not final book in the Secret keeper’s series and its blew me away, I have loved meeting the four secret keepers and their other halves, the laughs the drama the story. Avalon completes the secret keepers and finally finds her place in the world. It just may not be the place she dreamed of, I loved how there was the other side of Daelighter life revealed, the other three all had smooth paths to love, but House of Royale are different to the others and just because she may not get what she desires she will still get family with the girls. This may just be my favourite of the series, as you get bonus chapters and even though they don’t wrap the story up they give us some closure and who doesn’t love that as well as some amazing romance. Thank you Jaymin for a great story and a fantastic series.
This series is so awesome! A must read!
So much wow!!! I’m sad to read those last few words but totally beyond thrilled by how this beautiful series concluded. All the girls instantly grew on you and their guys were so much fun to read about. Ava was another memorable character and her perspective was an awesome addition. I loved how Xander fell and we finally got to raise a toast to his inner marshmallow! There is something so addictive to a guy who revolves his whole world around one girl, and this series blessed us four times over There is this scene that will make you cry towards the end and it was both so utterly touching and so incredibly beautiful. This is one of the many reasons why I’m in love with Jaymin Eve’s writing. She’ll break your heart, she’ll surprise and entertain you and she’ll leave you feeling her book left deeply burried within your heart and mind. Her words float straight towards your soul with little heart shaped arrows.
The conclusion to this series is fantastic. There were definitely some unexpected twists to the story, which is always nice. Having a predictable story doesn’t make it bad, but when it’s not what you expected, it adds that much more. And this story definitely had a lot of MORE. Avalon is a bit more like Emma and Callie; she’s got a past, and it’s not the nicest. Xander also struggles with his own path a bit, and you do want to shake him, but you can’t fault him when you find out why. This story is fast-paced and action packed, and it was a really fitting ending to the story. Overall, I enjoyed it from beginning to end (the book and series), and I’m a little disappointed that it’s over, but maybe the author will want to revisit them some day.
Superb! An Emotional Rollercoaster Ride!!
(Read using Kindle Unlimited)
I absolutely loved this series and I loved this book especially! Ava was so kind and tender hearted but fierce too, she stood up to Xander perfectly and even better against his cold Mum!! There are some really emotional scenes You may need tissues
I really hope the Author chooses to revisit these amazing characters in the future. It would be great to see how Xander and Ava handle his Mum & his brother in law Especially how all the houses deal with the 8 wanting to join them all together much more closely again, plus if any of them have children now etc
I thoroughly enjoyed this series!!
