One moment I was broke and homeless.
The next, I was living in a Manhattan penthouse with 4 demigods who all wanted to please me as much as they could.
Funny how life turns out right?
When the gorgeously handsome … gorgeously handsome Brandt Ridley offered cute Brenna Evans a place to stay after she was made homeless she could not say no.
And she could not believe her eyes when she stepped inside his beautiful New York City penthouse apartment and met his three stunningly handsome housemates.
Brenna felt like she was the luckiest girl in the world.
Little did she know, none of this was luck. It was design.
Brandt and his friends were all demigods with special superpowers who were seeking a human female to produce an extra special child for them.
And Brenna was perfect for the job.
However, she could only choose one of the men to be the father of her baby and she would have to live with all of them until her decision was made…

Concept: great, execution: poor that isn’t to say the authors are bad writers their proze is great it’s the subject matter they fall into a pit with.
Book 1
The female protagonist seems hollow and a little too naive for someone living poor in NYC.
3 out of 4 of the guys are just violent and complete bastards, most the book is domestic violence in my opinion
The length and cut are wrong the end of the book is probably somewhere in the start of the second book
the concept of the first gave me pause and seemed stretched out for the sake of length rather than substance

This very well-written First in the The Gods Of New York Series is the last book in this fast-paced story with loads of drama, suspense and twists and turns and has amazingly crafted characters that have great chemistry. Each character has been crafted with unique personalities and grow throughout the story. A must read from a great Author. I cannot wait to read more in this series

Brenna is an art student who finds herself jobless and homeless on the same night. As she is walking back to her apartment to get her things, she meets Erik. She’s suprised when upon hearing of her situation, Erik offers her a place to stay in the apartment he shares with his three roommates.
She soon discovers that meeting Erik and his friends is not by chance. She learns that they have been searching for her and wish to father a child with her. She can choose only one.
I enjoyed the references to Norse mythology and the different aspects. The author’s world building and characters give the story depth. I will say after the first meeting Brenna has with the guys, Erik is my least favorite, but that’s just me. This is an interesting and exciting start to this series. I’m looking forward to the next book. Enjoy.
I can’t remember how I found this book, I think it was on a suggested page on Amazon. But however it happened, I’m so glad that it did. I ordered myself a copy and waited for the paperback to arrive, the cover and blurb alone had me really intrigued with this series. As soon as the book (well books because I ordered the second book in this series) And I devoured this book as soon as it arrived.
I only planned to read a couple chapters today but nope….I ended up finishing the entire book. Do I regret it? No. Cause I have book two to read after this. House of Gods (The Gods of New York) gives a twist on Norse mythology in the present day, something which I really do love to read about. Anything with Norse, Greek or Roman mythology are my go to reads.
House of Gods tells the story of Brenna Evans, she is down on her luck from what life has dealt her. A very crappy hand and everything seems to be going down hill until she meets a mysterious handsome stranger. But everything is not as it seems. This book delivers twist after twist right until the very end page.
The book starts of introducing the characters and then drops you straight into their world. I would say that I was NOT a big fan of how the book ended, on that cliffhanger. But luckily I already have the second book in this series otherwise waiting for it would have been hell. So I’m diving straight into book two of this series…..and probably going to end up finishing it tonight.
Very intense story. Loved all the characters. There are many twists and turns through out the story. I love how Brenna and Brandt’s story continues to build through the books.

These books are fantastic! I devoured them all! The storylines and the characters are fabulous! I could not put these books down! I cannot wait for further books from these amazing Authors!
Share a fabulous penthouse apartment with four gorgeous demi-gods? Mmmm…Oh My! What should a girl do?? Why move right in of course! No questions, just complete calm, and peace are all Brenna felt as her life went from utter misery to complete perfection in a matter of hours. This is the story of Brandt, Erik, Colby, Jerri and of course, Brenna who discovers that these gorgeous men were not offering her a place in their home out of the sheer goodness of their hearts but that they had plans for her and the child they hoped to create that would be very special indeed. No spoilers, you will have to read this set to see why the child would be special, why Brenna was chosen to be the mother, and what is to happen afterward? A great story brought to life for our reading pleasure by the wonderful imagination of Samantha Snow!

Wonderfully fantastic… The book was amazing… It had a lot of details and juicy scenes to it… The characters and their personalities match them perfectly… The plot and the storyline was very descriptive and amazing…
She can only choose one……….or can she?
House Of Gods is the first book in The Gods Of New York series. This is the first book I have read by Samantha Snow so I was not sure what to expect but I decided to pick this book up because the book description fascinated me. After reading this book I am not sure exactly if I liked the story or not. If was a bit confusing at times and Brenna, the h, was a bit annoying also at times. This is also the first time I have read a story where the PNR involved gods and reincarnation.
It seems Breena is the reincarnation of Freya, Norse Goddess of life and death. She is offered a room in a penthouse where four very rich and powerful men live, each is a demigod and has superpowers. It becomes a RH because she must choose one of the men, Erik, Brandt, Colby or Jeri, to become her partner and father a child with her. This outcome of their pairing will be a very special child. If she does not do this then the “Hunters” will come and kill her. But when she starts to love each of the four men how can she choose just one? Or can she?
This is a fast paced story that is both interesting and entertaining. The characters are good, even if I wanted to kick Breena a couple of time, and I shook my head when a few story details did not may sense. But be prepared because this RH story does not end with this book so there is more to come. I will be reading the next book to see what happens next.
