Concept: great, execution: poor that isn’t to say the authors are bad writers their proze is great it’s the subject matter they fall into a pit with.
Book 3
The end again isn’t in the right place it feels like the choice of where the breaks are was done by a 3rd person
The story in a way had a forced complication in order to facilitate the introduction of the next female protagonist which could have been the end of this book

Continuation of the series. Hooked and want more.
I would really recommend that you do read book 1 and 2 before picking up this one as there will be part of it that might seem confusing unless you have read the previous two books. Samantha Snow does not fail in keeping me hooked on this series. I devoured this book as soon as it arrived. Compared to the previous two books, this one was a little calmer in comparison.
But don’t let that fool you because as soon as I got further into the book, that all changed dramatically. House of Gods follows the originals characters from the previous two books while keeping them the main focus while gradually introducing new in-depth characters that I feel we are only getting a teaser of.
This book kept me on my toes until the very end page. I love how the story progressed, these characters are growing and changing to what is happening around them…and it’s a lot. At first I wasn’t a big fan of Lopt, but this book made me change my mind. But I’m still slightly dubious as the author throws in that many twists, you can never be too sure.
It is fast paced, it certainly has it’s twists and one that I didn’t even see coming until it was revealed. A what an ending! I tried to make this book last because the next instalment wasn’t released yet, but now that it has I’ll be buying myself a copy to continue the story. But I really can’t wait to see how all of this comes together in the end.
Very intense story. Loved all the characters. There are many twists and turns through out the story. I love how Brenna and Brandt’s story continues to build through the books.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough left you wanting more twists and turns hot and steamy like a rollercoaster ride of emotions that makes you want more. How can Lopt see who is causing him grief.
Thank you for allowing me to review your book.

One little girl with big powers can cause a lot of trouble
House Of Gods 3 – The Vision is the third book in The Gods of New York series. The story of Breena and her four demigods, Erik, Brandt, Colby and Jeri continues, so you need to have read the previous books first otherwise you will be more than a bit lost.
Breena now has her and Brandt’s daughter, Keema. It seems the little girl has some magic powers that she does not know how to control. By mistake she hurt Breena and from there the story takes some major twists and turns. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series to see what happens.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Samantha Snow has continued the story of the Overtons, Egans, and Cami. To get the backstory you will need to have read books 1 and 2 first. Cami has found out she is pregnant and now the Elders want her to bond with one each of the Overtons and Egans so that her powers can be contained. She is not ready to be bonded to anyone just yet so she puts it off. There was to be a meeting between the Overtons and Egans on Cami’s property but it turned into a fight in which some of the Overtons were hurt and Jamie Egan was almost killed by Dylan. Now Dylan was being held by the Elders until they decided what to do with him. After the fight, Cami has not had anything to do with either clan. Cami has just found out that she has a cousin from her dad’s side of the family. This causes some problems for her since the Elders want to use her cousin Miranda to keep tabs on Cami for them. The Elders also use Miranda for their own in trying to cause problems between Cami and Miranda. Vanessa, Jamie’s mother has found out about Miranda and now wants Jamie to get her over to their side. Cami bonds with 2 of the Overtons without knowing she has done so and now all she must do is bond with Gabriel Egan. Cami is at the doctor’s with Dylan and Gabriel and Nicholas pulls up. Cami tells them she has news and they decide to go to the Overtons so they can talk in private without Miranda hearing what is being said. She wants to know why Nicholas was at the doctor’s and that is when she learns she has bonded with him and Dylan. She tells them that the doctor told her she is having twins.
What will Cami decide to do when she finds out who the babies’ fathers are?
Will the feud come to a stop after the babies’ are born or will it continue?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

This is book 3 in the series and would definitely recommend that you read the first two books it has a lot of twist and turns and the characters are layered sometimes you think there nothing but evil and the next the do something sorta good. You have two Godess at each other’s throats Lopt and Freya a lot of bad blood there and underlying revenge. You have Brenna and her love Brandt one of the original 4 options of her future baby’s daddy and this layer of mythology and the future of one small child at stack she’s all powerful and her grandfather Lopt may want her for a weapon of just to kill her. And Breena needs Freyas help she’s been hurt and with a new vision who can be trusted will Breena have everything she wants will have to wait till the next book to come out there’s another cliffhanger at the end of this book.
I was allowed to receive and advance copy of this book via Booksprout but I have also purchased a copy for myself and this is my honest review.
This is book three in the series and it continues the story of Brenna and her demigods. Keeping it simple with no spoilers, Brenna is injured, while she sleeps she has a vision, when she shares that vision the story just continues to get better. This rollercoaster ride is an intense one but so worth the adventure. Enjoy!

The book focuses on Lopt who has come to kill the injured Brenna and baby Kemma. Brenna and Kemma were lying under the overhanging, sculpted mushroom cap in the park, with Jerrik and Colby flanking them on either side. Brandt asked Lopt – his father — to help them and not kill his family. For some reason, he agreed, at least for the moment to satisfy his own curiosity. He did not view the demi-gods as a threat to him and ignored them as he picked up the baby. Brandt lifted Brenna and carried her behind Lopt. White energy had burned and blistered her wrists and her breathing was not good. Kemma could not control her great power, and hurting her mother had been an accident. Brandt’s visions about his memories of things to come and his dreams were the only things that gave him hope. No one knew where Freya was and they really needed her help. She was probably the only one who could wake Brenna.
While Lopt walked off with the baby to “get to know his granddaughter”, Brandt, Jerrik, and Colby went to their rooms. All three fell asleep for hours, concluding Lopt had something to do with that! They tracked him down to the Great Room and he was playing with Kemma who sat on his knee. They all went to have dinner and Lopt tried to get Kemma angry to repeat the white energy, but it didn’t work. Brandt took her from him, stating she was tired and needed sleep. Jerrik tried to attack Lopt to force information from him about Freya’s whereabouts, but he laughed and walked away. Would he kill the baby when he was done “experimenting” to see her powers? Would they find Freya to get help for Brenna?
The twists and turns continue in this story as Brenna is unconscious, comatose, and Freya is missing. Lopt has caught up to them and taken them back to his home. But no one knows what will happen next . . . until Brenna awakens and reveals that she had a vision. Don’t miss this action-packed adventure!
This is not my normal genre – by a long shot yet I was curious to see this kind of story from this author so I grabbed it and actually quite enjoyed it. I know there is atleadt one more to come and I couldn’t remember a lot about the previous 2 books but I soon caught on. You definitely need to read this book in order. I found it to be very compelling and complex. I enjoyed the story and the characters and look forward to the last piece.

The book is about a child that Brenna and Brandt had Kemma. Kemma was a magicly child but it was to much magic for her. Brenna and Brandt was running from a God name Lopt because he wanted to kill her. Now would be the time to get the book. I will be getting more from this author.
Going further back than the Noose myths that are often repeated and better known, Samantha explored the old gods of Noose mythology and spring something refreshingly new.

You really need to read these in order, each book only takes a few hours so it’s easy to catch up and it’s well worth the read. This part of the story has a lovely surprise twist in it that has me on the edge of my seat for the next book.

The most heart wrenching, scary, and sad book of the series. Very powerful!!
Brandt and Brenna’s child, Kemma has exhibited unknown and strong magic. She hurt her mother unknowingly and Brenna has a dream that Kemma will kill all of the Gods, all of them, and then herself. So Freya takes her to the forest to be safe and let the forest teach her how to control her magic. But she comes back too soon, hurts several Gods and now they want to destroy her. But if they can transfer her powers to another host, an older host who will be able to control the power, she might be safe. But can it safely be done or will the transfer create something worse and more powerful. Former enemies become adversaries in their fight to win against this ancient malevolent power.
